Review 1：The parking lot is well lit, but any highway motel lot is going to be a little dodgy. They have plenty of signs reminding you not to leave valuables. Also, the bed and pillows are not awesome. They don't suck totally. I don't usually lug my pillow and blanket, but I will next time.

Review 2：Pretty convenient location on N-bound side of 35, just south of Ben White...easy to shortcut around a lot of crappy traffic. Great desk staff. Basic amenities. Better than I expected for such a cheap stay.

Review 3：-Location. But it is priced accordingly. -Safety in the room and parking lot. Our room does not have secondary lock. It is broken. - Our car window was busted at night in hotel parking lot. Nothing is lost and we are not sure why it was busted since nothing is in the car except small empty box in back seat.

Review 12：It Was Very close to downtown austin and also like 15 minutes away from the parks we were going to for my brothers tournament . We asked for towels and not even 5 minutes passed and they gave them to us . great service . I liked everything

Our room had plenty of cockroaches, they were mostly in the entrance, and shower area, a couple of them made it all the way to our beds, it was pretty gross. I did complain to management, I really wasn't looking for a hand out, I just hope they take care of the issue for everyone else sake.

Review 55：I did not like the time it took to check-in due to slow computers/systems which was even acknowledged by the front desk staff. They were frustrated with how time consuming it is. I also did not like there was no trash bin for the immediate room; only one in the restroom area. The beds weren't that great but they were comfortable enough to sleep in. Upon booking this hotel, I had requested two additional pillows be added to each bed - this was not completed. My reservation also showed two guests staying but I only received one room key card. I had to ask for a second one; something front desk should've known and been prepared for.

Review 56：I liked the many power outlets throughout the room; makes easier for charging multiple devices. That is a plus. I also liked the room has hardwood/laminate flooring instead of carpet. The free cable was nice too and I liked the heater worked well.

Review 67：1. The requirement to make a $50 deposit to order a movie. 2. The requirement to remove the fee for the safe at checkout. Both practices are petty, force your customers to take extra steps that are unnecessary and, in the case of the safe fee, degrading. Won't stay at a Red Roof again. I wonder how much the practice of having that $1.75 safe fee cost them.

Review 78：Wifi was slow and unstable. The hotel does not store luggage before/after check-in. It was a problem when I stayed for a motor racing event at the nearby circuit and was not allowed to bring big bags. The hotel is along the highway, but you have to go to the sideway to enter the hotel. It was a little bit tricky and a couple of taxi drivers couldn't get to the hotel on time.

Review 81：Awaken several times during the night, after asking for a safe quiet room. To many wild loud guests with no manners. The deal killer was returning in the evening to find my door was left open by the maid staff. The onsite staff thought it was no big deal and acted as if I was wrong to ask for a safe quiet room. I check out and moved to a better hotel

Review 101：My room was near the ice machine, so two of the three mornings I was awakened at around 6 by people filling their coolers with ice. Unpleasant but tolarable. There is a $10 early check in fee I was asked to pay when I was there only an hour before checkin. But when I said I would wait until 3 to check in the young lady was understanding and asked if I would help myself to coffee and give her a few minutes she would get around the system to waive the fee. She was sweet and got me checked in within just a few minutes. All-in-all a good experience.
