Reviews for Regency Lodge Omaha

Review 1:Older mattress and bedding. Lodge needs remodeling. Everything seemed outdated and covered by Febreze.

Review 2:Staff moved us to quieter room off the interstate. Very courteous and helpful.

Review 3:Bathroom was not spotless, there were a few stray hairs in the shower walls and on the toilet, other than that it was clean. Didn't like the pressure at the shower nozzle.

Review 4:Location, restaurant on location and food was good even though the waitress got or order wrong twice.

Review 5:cobb webs on light fixtures, drafty warped door to the out side, too expensive for what I got, was not warned that new years eve was much higher priced and was too close to Interstate 680, noisy all night long!!!!!

Review 6:Great breakfast, confurtable bed

Review 7:The computer connection in the room is very weak. It worked only in the lobby.

Review 8:Great location and felt like home for the holiday week. Good breakfast, pool and sauna! Excellent value and will definitely return.

Review 9:the hallways, and pool area were too cold. Wish there was a hot tub

Review 10:The beds were comfortable, very clean hotel, breakfast was great also. Well worth the money, will stay again if I am in the area.

Review 11:I didn't get the room I thought I was getting. I thought we were getting a room with a jacuzzi although the room we did get was fine.

Review 12:We liked the atmosphere

Review 13:Mattress; way too firm for our taste. Parking; other guests parked outside room.

Review 14:Quiet; we wanted a quiet room. Breakfast; included eggs, bacon and waffles.

Review 15:The breakfast is wonderful.. Well stocked, good variety. Staff is very friendly. Rooms with doors to outside are nice for easy loading and unloading.

Review 16:My toilet ran every 30 minutes. I complained about it and even in writing, but no one fixed it. It kept me up at night. When I tried to use the internet, the page load speed was so slow I actually ended up using my old iphone 4 on 3G and it was much faster.

Review 17:I like this hotel for location, and comfort. There are pretty rooms in this hotel, but mine this time was facing the interstate, door entrance stuck open, so people could come in off street but not that sort of area.

Review 18:Only used the room, no other facilities. Very tired property. Carpeting in room had holes, toilet ran all the time, TV very old. Advertised they had room service but had none, just breakfast buffet. Needed to change room as first one had a window that did not close.

Review 19:Some of the staff. Location.

Review 20:The coffee machine in my room this time and the last were terrible. It seemed as if they were never cleaned.

Review 21:The room, breakfast and how much amnemities they had to offer.

Review 22:The first room was very dirty and old. There were cobwebs, hair in the bathroom (not mine), mold all over the bathroom, hair on the bedding when we pulled back the covers and not cleaned properly in general. The second room was cleaned a little better but the toilet didn't work and the heater sounded like a dog howling during the night and the bed squeaked.

Review 23:The staff was pleasant and the common area was nice.

Review 24:I do not smoke I quit 10 years ago my room smelled weird ,but I just bought some febreeze and dealt with it after my visit I get a charge of $200 I tryed calling them for 12 days , I called today left message again threatening to call policethey finally call me back, they say I was smoking. This place does not look or the people don't act like they should

Review 25:I had difficulty in using the shower. I asked the front desk for help and the person who came could not make it work too. I asked to go to another room to have a shower and I saw the surprise of the front desk person. When I explained to her that I have to do a presentation she agreed and gave me access to another room. Overall cleanliness was very poor

Review 26:Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Bar tender stayed late as there were a bunch of us watching the World Series! "That was awesome"

Review 27:The rooms could use a fresh coat of paint. The carpet was coming up around the bathroom door & the louvered closet doors were dusty. The silicone in the bath/shower needs replaced.

Review 28:Very comfortable king bed in room 276. There is a walking path just out back of the property. Great breakfast with a lot of options. Nice lobby with areas for visiting. Restaurant had yummy appetizers.

Review 29:I asked for an upstairs room on booking.com, but was given a downstairs room. Hotel was close to empty, so didn't understand why this was the case.

Review 30:Outdoor and indoor access to room was convenient. Style was nice and breakfast was good.

Review 31:The room had a musty smell, the bathroom was just not clean. The corners of the bathroom had mold or like a crusty mildew build-up. The room looked run down and just not updated. The carpet was stained and old. The noise level from the hallway was loud. You could hear people talking at all hours of the night. There was also limited lighting.

Review 32:We liked the location to restaurants and accessibility to places like Starbucks, Trader Joes and downtown Omaha. It was easy to access from the highway.

Review 33:Did not have our reservation at check in, room was dingy, remote was caked with unknown substance. We asked for repairs to toilet that would not stop running and shower that didn't drain. Repairs were not made, we asked again and were told the maintenance man was fired. Breakfast was ok, no yogurt, no fresh cut fruit, no rolls, very minimal. Conditions in hotel are not what I expected, felt like small things are being ignored or covered up rather than addressed, the outside door to the stairway did not shut properly, the front desk did not seem concerned. This lack of concern is translating to a hotel that is loosing quality and has lost us as guests.

Review 34:Location

Review 35:Beds were comfortable and my wife who likes extra pillows was promptly brought more by friendly staff. Restaurant, bar and a good free breadfast was a definite plus. We'll be using the Regency again.

Review 36:Nothing

Review 37:Room was clean and inviting. The pool was clean and warm. Staff very helpful and nice. Environment is warm and cozy. I love the outdoorsy look. Kids loved the piano player in the lounge. Breakfast was great!

Review 38:Hotel parking lot and rear entrances are filthy. Carpets need cleaning, Rooms need deep cleaning-something smeared all over the headboard in my room, Front desk staff RUDE- Kaitie

Review 39:Convenient location to interstate. Price is affordable, it has an indoor pool, lounge and fitness room.

Review 40:N/A

Review 41:The location of the room to the front desk& access to the parking, also the shuttle. The staff was excellent, Shane , Stefanie, Gail , Chef & the girl with short blonde hair, never got her name The breakfast was awesome ! So wonderful, saved us a trip outside ! The restaurant had reasonable & very tasty food..

Review 42:Nothing. Everything was great.

Review 43:The hotel was packed with a wedding but the room was well insulated and the wedding party did not bother my sleep at all.

Review 44:The hotel did not match the pictures. It smelled like it may have been a nursing home at one point. The door knob on the bathroom was loose. I will probably not be using it again.

Review 45:Location. Price. Evening staff

Review 46:I didnt like the light came out of the pool and the fact that when we had the eggs for the breakfast it had peppers and some people dont like that. And the out dated tv. I would have liked them to have multiple stay rewards.

Review 47:I enjoyed the staff and cleanliness and the sauna and pool.

Review 48:TV wouldn't work, water out of shower mostly dribbled out, over all appearance of the room is old.

Review 49:Continental breakfast, location to highway, can park right in front of door to room.

Review 50:Dirty bathrooms, thin towels, poor window locks, no screens on windows, no exhaust fan in bathroom, cheap linens on beds. Should have stayed at Comfort Inn!!

Review 51:Our first night the cafe must have just went through a rush. All the tables were dirty and we ordered an ice water and got ice tea. Ordered my son a hotdog and got chicken strips. THey were friendly and made it right with us.

Review 52:Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

Review 53:Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable. The lobby was quite attractive. Great value. Way better than we expected for the price. Would definitely stay again.

Review 54:I walked out side by the lounge an there was a dead rat. Yes a rat. I feel it's a little pricey for a non corporate person

Review 55:The hotel was very clean an homey. The staff was great.

Review 56:The a/c needed to be deep cleaned as it had moldy appearance on the louvers, and we had to have it at 65 for the compressor to kick on.

Review 57:Loved the bed, pool, laundry facility, and the breakfast was AWESOME!! Our kids soo wanna go back and we want to know the brand of mattress!!

Review 58:Toilet ran the whole time we were there. Custodial person came once and got it to stop by if anyone ran water it started again.

Review 59:Sunday brunch I attended there was excellent. Staff was very accommodating.

Review 60:small black bugs all over, I did fill out the card in the room and gave it to the front desk, bath tub had yellow stains around it, the creamer in the packets were completely spoiled, instead of powder, it was rock hard

Review 61:the breakfast, microwave in rooms

Review 62:nothing major, would have been nice to have hot tub in pool area - but the pool and sauna was good.

Review 63:Location easy to get to, rooms quiet, breakfast included eggs, sausage or bacon and other hot breakfast items making it better then most breakfasts, facility is a regular hotel with lobby, etc.

Review 64:My wife just said the beds were a little to springy

Review 65:It was overall a nice place to stay. The staff was nice and personable. The price was fair and the quality of the hotel was good

Review 66:kids yelling in the halls til midnight. two beds in our room one was supper comfortable the other uncomfortable so switched in the middle of the night over all get experience would stay again

Review 67:really nicely decorated rooms were nice.

Review 68:The pool area is to small when the place is full. The rooms and bathrooms wasn't spacious enough. The t.v. was to small.

Review 69:I like the day decor and how quite and secure the rooms and Location. The breakfast was good and tasty for a open buffet. The a/c was working very well. Like that you lodge have a sauna.

Review 70:The breakfast buffet area was too crowded. During the wedding reception, someone had given my cousin a gift of some alcohol. It was sitting unopened in a bag on the table & one of the workers their felt the need to confiscate it. As stated, it was not being distributed. A very rude woman took it and when my cousin got it back & was taking it to his personal vehicle, she proceeded to follow him. I understand the policy of not bringing & drinking your own booze, but this was an unopened gift & the situation was handled very poorly. Omaha's 16% city sales tax is ridiculous.

Review 71:We actually traveled w/ a group of family members for a wedding there. We enjoyed the free breakfast, once we were able to get to it & the rooms were clean. Although we didn't have time to enjoy it, the pool area looked very inviting. We enjoyed visiting w/ family on the patio outside the bar.

Review 72:That my sisters and I were not able to get connecting rooms that we could go room to room from the inside. When i made the reservation, I was told they couldn't check until the day I arrived. This was the first time we were told that in the 10 years we've been getting together.

Review 73:The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs.

Review 74:The bathroom was pretty tiny and the water pressure wasn't great. But the addition of a microwave and mini fridge were awesome.

Review 75:This place was great. Quiet, nice little pool, friendly staff and nice rooms.

Review 76:I loved everything about this hotel! Really had the feel of a Northwoods Lodge. Great pool, friendly staff & awesome food. A great value for the money, will definitely be back!

Review 77:Bathroom Counter was not big enough for a family of four, especially since 3 of which were girls. The parking lot to get to our room was torn up-very bumpy. Sauna never worked while there.

Review 78:Nice lobby. Comfortable beds. Pool and breakfast were adequate. Friendly staff.

Review 79:the humidity in the rooms was so bad that our bed linens was soaking wet and the carpet was damp the ceiling had mold from it one of the four rooms was the worst floor in bathroom had standing water from fixtures sweating

Review 80:Hotel was pretty inside and out and offed a lot of amenities for the money

Review 81:The bed was firmer than I normally like, but I slept ok.

Review 82:The breakfast bar was kept well-stocked. The location is very close to the shopping mall and Cheesecake Factory

Review 83:Nothing at all

Review 84:While the hotel did not have the newest facilities, the staff, the spacious, cleniness and room amenities, more than made up for the decor. The value was awesome

Review 85:The breakfast buffet was not as extensive as the last time we stayed.

Review 86:The hotel was conveniently located and had several restaurants nearby. The room was nice and clean.

Review 87:The breakfast buffet was very nice. There was a good bar and live entertainment. The pool looked very nice as well. There was easy access to the highway.

Review 88:This hotel was the filthiest I've ever seen! Pillows seemed to be filled with rocks and AC was so loud I couldn't sleep!

Review 89:Location was very good for the things we wanted to see; zoo, lauritzen gardens, children's museum.Great breakfast.

Review 90:Spent the first night of two on the ground floor, everything felt wet need dehumidifiers in rooms located on bottom floor. Second night was good but the AC unit did not work very well

Review 91:Conveniently located really enjoyed the breakfast and the lounge was very nice and relaxing

Review 92:We had ants in our bathroom and the sheet on one of the beds was dirty/stained.

Review 93:The hotel and amenities overall were good. There was a good variety of food in the complimentary breakfast.

Review 94:The rooms need updating- flat screens would be nice. There was some mold on the bathroom wall- which I cleaned off and mold inside one of the pictures on the wall. The wifi could not connect in our room had to go to the main lodge to connect. Breakfast should run until 10am on weekends!

Review 95:Good central location. You can get to almost anywhere in 15 minutes. Right off 680. The rooms were clean, nice staff, liked the noon check out time. We will stay here again.

Review 96:Room smelled musty and free wifi was no existent which isn't good with teenagers. My daughter said we won't stay here again .

Review 97:Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

Review 98:Mold on ceiling in room due to no functioning exhaust fan in bathroom...Most all of our personal items kept in the room were wet to the touch...WiFi is non-functioning even after complaining to the front desk. Also complained about thephone not working to no availe....The front desk clerk during the day was rude, unfriendly and disinterested in being friendly...

Review 99:towel bar in bathroom fell off the wall giving us no where to hang towels and left wallboard particles all over on bathroom floor several areas of hall had bubbled up carpet, ice maker on 2nd floor didn't work

Review 100:good value breakfast included was great just a bit crowded lobby and landscape were very nice good curb appeal

Review 101:Not enough linens. Could not get extra pillows/blankets with paying extra. Electricity went out in the AM & when we called to report it, they asked if we needed electricity right away. Air conditioning in over half the building was not working properly, which did not affected our hotel room, but affected the meeting rooms we were in.

Review 102:I liked the price & convenience.

Review 103:The showers needed to be a little bigger and the water pressure needed to be better and the hot water wasn't there in the morning

Review 104:Everything was really nice and clean and the staff was nice

Review 105:The room had a slight old/wet/mold smell, we bought a candle to lite, that killed the smell. overall not a bad place to stay.

Review 106:The breakfeast was nice good selection.

Review 107:The water pressure in the shower was an embarrassment, and the free WiFi was awful, barely able to maintain a connection, at least in my room. It was better in the lobby area.

Review 108:Check in was fast, early and easy. Breakfast was decent. Room was quiet. The sauna was a pleasant surprise.

Review 109:Our WiFi did not work. We called and he said it was working for them and didn't really offer anything else. If you went two doors down it worked. They didn't have any other king rooms and we were already settled so we didn't move to a smaller room. We had to go to the breakfast area to use WiFi.

Review 110:The breakfast was above average for a typical motel free breakfast

Review 111:The crib that we requested wasn't in the room when we got there, we had to ask a couple times for them to bring on and what they brought was an old pack and play that was falling apart. My 2 year old found someone's medication under the bed. The rooms had a slight musty smell. They are very stingy with towels. After requesting them twice I finally just went and took some from the pool area. the wifi signal in the room we stayed in was almost non existant.

Review 112:The pool was nice and the staff was friendly.

Review 113:The hallway smelled damp. Our bathtub had mold and mildew around the edges. We bought our own cleaner to clean it

Review 114:It was quiet, and the price affordable.

Review 115:Why is it that hotels can never get their plumbing right? The shower pressure is just awful, but it's that way at other hotels too, so it's nothing new...just something you should work on...you might get more guests just for great water pressure! It would have helped if all the water was coming out of the shower head instead of half out of the faucet.

Review 116:It was comfortable, not noisy, easy to get in and out of, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

Review 117:We booked a queen and king room through booking.com, however, when we checked in they had us in two king rooms. They were full, so we couldn't be changed to a queen room. This was a problem because we have several kids! The hotel provided a cot for no extra charge which helped.

Review 118:Great price and great breakfast!

Review 119:The only thing that I did not like was that the room had a musky smell to it.

Review 120:The beds were comfortable and the pool was nice and big. Breakfast was tasty too!

Review 121:I stayed here years ago but his time I felt like it needs an update. Plug-in by bed did not work. Bathroom had hair on floor.

Review 122:The lobby is comfortable & the breakfast is good. I also like the location, just off the interstate but tucked back from the busy street.

Review 123:Phone didn't work in the room. Staff were very accommodating and let us use a phone at the check in area because of a family emergency. Staff were great!

Review 124:Great breakfast. Nice and QUIET! Loved the restful night's sleep!

Review 125:The price was very competitive. The bar host was wonderful and made you feel at home. Kids loved the pool. The hotel was cozy and had a pretty setting.

Review 126:The room was very damp and musty. When I went to the front desk to tell them about it, the response was we'll look into it. Also needed a deep cleaning.

Review 127:The location was near our doctor appointment. The breakfast was good.

Review 128:The staff was very nice, helpful and efficient. They greeted me with a smile with each interaction. The restaurant food was very good (We had chicken parm, burger, loaded fries, soup and other sandwiches), everyone in our family was happy with their meal. Wait staff at the bar / restaurant was great! Breakfast was very good with fruit, waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon and hash browns as well as coffee, juice and milk. Would definitely stay there again.

Review 129:Bathroom was dated and cramped. TV channels were limited due to provider upgrading to digital and the hotel not having the right equipment to support the conversion. Ice machine was not working.

Review 130:Staff was great-very friendly and accommodating.

Review 131:No handrail in bathtub. Tub was slippery. I was afraid I would fall. Breakfast area over crowded. Too many tables to seat 4-top table or bigger. Elevator was not working at checkout.

Review 132:Breakfast was good. Rooms comfortable.

Review 133:The room decor is very dark and not very inviting. The doors off the pool to the enclosed court yard do not allow for re-entry.

Review 134:The front desk staff is very helpful & efficient. Nice bug pool.

Review 135:there was one ice machine on the second floor that did not work but I walked around and found another one on the first floor that did work

Review 136:they did not charge an arm and a leg to stay in a quality location

Review 137:Not a bad experience but one of our rooms smelled a bit musty, but staff freshened it up for us!!!!

Review 138:Very nice facilities. Clean rooms and bathrooms, efficient staff-very helpful and accommodating to our needs, fabulous breakfast, great pool hours, front entrance very inviting, comfortable beds and pillows, pleasant atmosphere where guests were seen enjoying the open restaurant
