Reviews for Squaw Valley Lodge

Review 1:I mentioned that is was my girlfriends 50 birthday. The ladies at the front desk we very pleasant. When we opened the door to the room they had a nice bottle of wine. Please tell them thanks again for me

Review 2:it was a very busy time but the maids forgot our room the first day so we had to call for towels etc but the staff was very nice

Review 3:loved that it was so close to the mountain and didn't have to get in the car to go anywhere-liked the facilities at the lodge-the hot tubs, pools, workout facility etc-the staff was very friendly and helpful

Review 4:This is right nest to the tram so very central in the village. We were only here one night so didn't get to check out all the facilities. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with an adjoining bed and bath. In winter it would be nice to use the underground parking.

Review 5:The fill in night attendant was the worse I have experienced in ALL my travels. Terrible service, telling me her personal feelings, mean, unhappy, and going out of her way to tell me what I should have done and that she was filling in for someone on vacation and did not normally work at this hotel.

Review 6:The on staff supervisor is and was amazing.

Review 7:We had hoped for an early check in as we had an 18 month old that needed a nap and although staff was polite they were unable to check us in until the 4:00 check in, which was frustrating.

Review 8:The room had a personal feel, apparently they are individually owned which I didn't realize when I booked the room. The location was great, the village had multiple places to eat, the bike trail was near by and Tahoe City was just a short drive.

Review 9:I did not like the loud people above our room. It sounded like a herd of elephants running. If/when we stay again we will be requesting the top floor.

Review 10:I enjoy the location of this facility and the pool. The staff is very nice.

Review 11:Noisy little kids at the pool at 8 am. Probably next time a room not so close to the pool

Review 12:Almost a small apartment. We actually cooked our own breakfast

Review 13:The unit we were in is getting "old", could use a few cosmetic improvements such as replacing the countertops and fixing the dresser in the bedroom. A TV monitor on the wall of the bedroom area would be a plus compared to the newer developments in the village.

Review 14:Everything but the "aging design" of the studio unit we were in. Like the big bathroom, staff and location.

Review 15:Slightly pricey given the availability of the surrounding accomodations.

Review 16:Very convenient to the Village, and just by heading in the other direction, an easy hike to the nearby woods

Review 17:Proximity to the lifts

Review 18:amazing skiing. Perfect location. Amazing condo, just beautiful. We want to stay there again as soon as possible.

Review 19:ticket value, very expensive

Review 25:Great underground parking in the snowy area

Review 26:the bed in the upstair loft is too soft, it's a sofa bed, not real one.

Review 27:so close to the ski lifts

Review 28:Beautiful facility

Review 29:I thought the exercise room opened too late in the morning 8am. I usually use the gym a 6 am

Review 30:Everything was good.

Review 31:A little over priced

Review 32:Was a nice location

Review 33:No air conditioning.

Review 34:Everything!

Review 35:Nating

Review 36:The plce

Review 37:quite dated but everything worked, functioned and well kept, clean.

Review 38:location, location, location

Review 39:Slightly outdated decor

Review 40:Pool, spas, kitchen in one-bedroom suite, location so close to tram and Main Street

Review 41:The mattress is close to useful life. Kitchen in one-bedroom very small.

Review 42:Daily room service and morning coffee.

Review 43:Fair rating of facility.... Probably would not be back. Better facilities in the area for equal & less $$

Review 44:Location
