Reviews for Broadway Inn Conference Center
Review 1:Our room was on ground floor right next to main entrance/exit which was next to the good bar and grill. It was a little noisy. Which could be expected. Still a good place to stay.
Review 2:Friendly staff. Clean room. Good breakfast. Bar and grill next door which had excellent service and good food.
Review 3:We had been traveling back from Tacoma, WA and we were all tuckered out from the drive. It was so nice to be able to find this place, and for such a great price! We did appreciate there being a restaurant inside as well, and being able to take the food back to the room was a plus!
Review 4:I have stayed here before but this time the hallway and stairs were filthy. The carpet had holes and is in need of replacement. The carpet in the dining room was newer but spills have not been cleaned and are blackened. Further, the breakfast area was not staffed and there were no plates, lots of spilled food, and tables were sticky. It was disappointing that I had recommended that others stay here. I hope things change.
Review 5:The only complaints would be that the rooms are pretty outdated, the comfort of the bed in my opinion was terrible. I do believe that was expected at the price I paid so overall the stay was ok.
Review 6:The price was the selling point for me, the hotel was clean and the staff was great
Review 7:The air conditioner was broke in our first room. 1st room was not very clean. Hallway carpet is stained and needs replaced!
Review 8:Friendly and helpful staff. Moved us to a different room when the air conditioner wasn't working in our first room.
Review 9:The room smelled bad (like plastic had been burning), the fridge was so loud that I had to unplug it, the hallway carpet is so filthy that it nearly made me puke. There were ants on the nightstand and a serious level of dust. The heat didn't work. The breakfast room was being emptied by a staff member at 9:15, although breakfast time ended at 9:30, which means that nearly no breakfast items were available.
Review 10:The mattress. The front desk lady was very friendly.
Review 11:we had stayed two nights at this hotel, late afternoon on the 2nd day, our room was not cleaned, no garbage picked up, towels still dirty and on floor, when I called the front desk at 4p.m. she said that all the help left for the day, that they were too busy to clean all the rooms. got an apology from her but was shocked that this happened, I have never in my life heard this excuse that they were too busy to clean our room, especially for price of over $100 for the room, this was unforgivable
Review 12:love the location, hotel amenities and manager is awesome, some of the front desk staff were very good except for the lady with the southern accent and her excuses for not cleaning our room
Review 13:This place was okay. We were mostly concerned that it appeared (don't know for sure) that patrons of the casino next door could leave their kids in the pool for a fee. It just felt odd.
Review 14:Helpful, polite staff.
Review 15:The area the breakfast is served gets too conjested. The bathroom was not very clean. The air conditioner did not really work. There was a leaking faucet in the bathroom. The blankets on the bed were not very warm.
Review 16:Location was good. We could walk downtown and to a number of breweries. It was nice to have a restaurant/ bar on site.
Review 17:Staff was basic, no one ever said hello or even looked at you when you went out or came back in, very impersonal AC unit very old and Extremely NOISEY
Review 18:Good Value for the money, good accomadations
Review 19:The walkway at the entry was messy. Inside the carpet was badly stained, dirty and old.
Review 20:We had a great sleep with the window open and the air condition off.
Review 21:The condition of the furnishings in the general usage of the hotel was of poor quality. The evening meal in the Restaurant was appalling. A Resident was complaining to the Receptionist that her bathroom hadn't been cleaned upon our arrival.
Review 22:Easy location.
Review 23:This place is in desperate need of a thorough cleaning inside & out! The 1st glimpse you get is of the common hallways & I don't believe it has been cleaned for years. The chairs in the room needed cleaning & the blankets need replacing. Spend some money-the facility could be nice.
Review 24:The staff was very friendly & nice. Very helpful answering questions.
Review 25:Furniture and carpets all quite stained, could use a good cleaning.
Review 26:Beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub, tree-shaded patio, easy access to riverside trail, good value for the price.
Review 27:Booked my room and received the confirmation. When I arrived the staff said she booked 26 rooms in the past hour and didn't see my booking. I had booked two rooms and my daughter and son-in-law ended up with a smoking room. I took the non smoking room and had my young grandson sleep with me.
Review 28:Staff discounted my room the AAA 10% for her oversight. I have AAA so I should have gotten the discount anyway. I guess she tried to be accommodating!
Review 29:It was filthy in the corridors and stairways. The breakfast room was not the cleanest and the trash cans were horribly dirty. The railings were not to be touched as they were dark with hand prints etc.
Review 30:Besides the location we were happy to be upgraded because our room was not ready.
Review 31:Hot tub was drained and not working. We had an early flight and no breakfast was available. No ventilation in bathroom.
Review 32:Pool was nice and beds were comfortable.
Review 33:The carpets in the common areas were gross. This hotel would show better if this was changed.
Review 34:Nice downtown location-walking distance to downtown and riverfront.
Review 35:Nobody was at the front desk when I arrived, I had to ring them from the lobby phone. Also the towels in the bathroom were frayed. Should pay more attention to those details when you have guests.
Review 36:The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Review 37:Hot tub closed, fitness room equipment broken. It looked like they had never tried to clean the hotel carpets.....really bad impression that guests get right away.
Review 38:The breakfast was alright, but the bed was really comfy!
Review 39:Located in a pretty marginal part of town. Attached casino was pretty seedy. Noise from hallway and adjacent rooms was very easily heard.
Review 40:Comfortable room and bed for the money.
Review 41:SaidI could pay in cash when I got there...still made me use my credit card. Was happy to use my card for the holding of the room but I like to pay cash for everything.
Review 42:comfort, price and location...didn't go for breakfast.
Review 43:Groups of folks huddling outside back entrance smoking, cigarette butts scattered about side walk and driveway. Pretty unsavory looking group. Also, when I asked for my AARP the desk clerk said they could not issue one, because Bookings had already given me the best rate.
Review 44:Reasonable rate, good location.
Review 45:The hallways are covered in very badly stained carpet. Very strange since the rooms were immaculately cleaned.
Review 46:The bed was very comfortable, and the staff was nice. The breakfast was pretty well-appointed.
Review 47:The wifi wasn't great, but that really just motivated us to get off our butts and spend more time in the pool!
Review 48:The staff were super friendly and the room was clean. The restaurant had delicious food and there were no additional charges to have it brought to the room. The free breakfast was also delicious.
Review 49:The carpeting in the hallways was filthy! Not a good first impression. Stained and dirty. We asked if they were in the process of replacing and front desk did not know. If not soon to be replaced, it needs a really good cleaning.
Review 50:The room had recently be updated and renovated. Nice. Clean and comfortable.
Review 51:Hard to tell the staff from the guests. Some wear nametags, some don't. No uniforms. At least a company shirt would help much.
Review 52:Priced right. Room was clean, comfortable and quite.
Review 53:The continental breakfast manager was very friendly and kept all of the food stations full at all times. She even asked the clients if they wanted anything else before she closed down.
Review 54:I cut short my stay. The hotel was dirty. The pool was not clean. The hot tub broken. The homeless people skulking about made it feel unsafe. I left because I had bug bites from overnight in my bed.
Review 55:The price was good for the time of year.
Review 56:Breakfast. But it was no big deal :) we didn't expect a 5 star meal.
Review 57:Great place for a restful sleep. Nice front desk staff. Awesome bar staff at the adjoining restaurant.
Review 58:The weekend was so hot (over 100') and our AC didn't cool. Only the fan worked. Was told all rooms worked the same. Was given a discount on our rate for the inconvenience.
Review 59:Complimentary breakfast started at 6am...early enough to grab a quick bite before heading to a swim meet.
Review 60:Room wasn't up to standards, TV didn't work, no coffee cups, carpet going into breakfast was very wet. Staff decided to have a party at 1 am waking us up and the 6:30 staff decided to laugh and joke around waking us up again. Will NEVER stay here again. Apparently the staff have more fun than their guests.
Review 61:Price caused us to book this place but as they say, you get what you pay for these days.
Review 62:Hot Tub out of service, was main reason to go there. before, while, after hospital stay., Need door sweeps and bottoms of doors, 1" gap Room 118, shower heads to low, TV's out of date, WI-FI very very slow
Review 63:Customer service, Cleanliness, atmosphere, Location(would help your business if you posted location 3/4 mile from the hospital) Restraunt was confortable and pleasant
Review 64:In room Coffee pot really small and cream/sugar packs totally inadequate. Microwave pretty small too but didn't use.
Review 65:Excellent value for price. Nice size refrigerator with freezer space. Just right for cooler pacs When traveling by car. Very clean and comfortable.
Review 66:The breakfast was lacking. Would've preferred more choices.
Review 67:We liked the convenience of the attached restaurant/pub and casino. Outdoor space and pool are well maintained and pretty.
Review 68:Not a big deal, but the building is older, and while they have kept it in good condition, you can see the age a bit.
Review 69:The staff was great. Very helpful. The price was right, breakfast was great. WiFi was very fast.
Review 70:Beds were uncomfortable. Wi-Fi supposedly was available but barely accessible. Pool was disgusting. Should have been closed. We were told to use front door because other doors weren't operating properly.
Review 71:Price,
Review 72:The hot breakfast food was almost inedible, the baked good incredibly stale. The poor single clerk at the desk was highly overworked as he was balancing multiple phone calls, checking in guests. This place is cutting corners. We also expected it yo be close to rt90 which it was not.
Review 73:The bed was fairly good, the restaurant/bar had decent food.
Review 74:Kids running at full speed up & down the hallways and stairs. Neither parents or motel staff did anything to stop this. My wife was nearly knocked over.
Review 75:coffee & tea bar
Review 76:The hallway carpeting is dirty and stained -- it really drags the entire place down by its appearance. Likewise the area around outer key-entry door (as opposed to the lobby door) is dirty.
Review 77:The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Absolutely satisfied with the room.
Review 78:Breakfast ends too early. Band was obnoxious. Bed was saggy. Wish we could have had a king instead of 2 doubles.
Review 79:We checked in and the lady at front desk was awesome. Super friendly. Went to dinner and wanted to chill at bar with our service dog but the band they had was sooo loud and off key we couldn't stay. We bought beverages and took them up to room. Breakfast ends too early wish we could have taken advantage!
Review 80:Not fond of the squishy pillows, would like to have a couple of firmer pillows rather than all squishy ones.
Review 81:I like the location - very convenient for me to get to and from U of M.
Review 82:We picked your spot for the hot tub and it wasn't up and running... bummer! Maybe next time ~ and let the breakfast staff know they're doing great ~ they seemed worried!
Review 83:Loved the cozy bedding, hot shower and how quiet it was during the night!
Review 84:Not close to highway but not difficult to find.
Review 85:Hot breakfast with eggs, sausage and waffles and fresh fruit-excellent! Deana at the front desk was knowledgeable of the area and very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, quiet and comfortable.
Review 86:Wish we had a microwave in the room to zap some food we had with us. Microwave was available in the breakfast area.
Review 87:Booked last minute while on a road trip. Place didn't look like much upon first arrival, but man did we find a great value. We paid only $70 for a queen double room. The room was very clean, very comfortable and quiet, we were pleasantly surprised given the low rate we were paying. On top of all this, our continental breakfast in the morning was delicious. Nothing fancy, but fresh, tasty and a good variety. The coffee was incredible. Staff was efficient and friendly, you could tell they cared about doing a good job. The Broadway Inn was a tremendous value!
Review 88:Weak WiFi in the fitness center. Silly, I know but that was my break and I wanted to watch something on Netflix while I was on the elliptical.
Review 89:The beds were comfy and rooms were very clean. The attached restaurant had the best onion rings! The entire staff was friendly.
Review 90:Staff were enthusiastic and responsive - restaurant food (takeout) was excellent and again quite responsive. The room was large and well appointed. Excellent value which included a full hot buffet breakfast.
Review 91:Checked in at 8:30 pm, no line but waited several minutes for clerk to get me checked in. Interesting crew hanging around casino, right by hotel lobby, even at 8:00 am.
Review 92:Booking was easy, price seemed fair based on description. However, the hotel was out dated (not a big deal), and even with upgrading to a superior room the bed was uncomfortable. We checked out the next morning and switched hotels. Lesson learned, pay the $10-$20 more for a better nights sleep.
Review 93:Staff was VERY friendly. The lady that was in charge of the breakfast made sure everything was hot and refilled empty coffee pots readily. She was super friendly. Thankyou!
Review 94:More secure wi-fi.
Review 95:Great location, near a lot of shopping. Of course, Missoula isn't a huge city. so most things are within five miles. Quiet, great restaurant, nice amenities, friendly staff. Loved staying there.
Review 96:The non-smoking room smelled as though someone had smoked in it. There was noise during the night that disturbed my sleep.
Review 97:Good location--easy to get to from the airport.
Review 98:NO elevator as some of our group were on 2nd floor and needed one . Some other guests clanked their luggage down the out side stairs and that was very noisy very early.
Review 99:Casual atmosphere , Spacious sitting area at check desk , hospitality , large breakfast area we could gather and stay to visit after breakfast The friendly bar /lounge .
Review 100:I found a cookie wrapper behind the night stand and some crumbs as well.
Review 101:The person working front desk was absolutely wonderful. The price was good and I loved the bed. I haven't slept that good in a long time.
Review 102:Facility a little worn down.
Review 103:Comfortable but spare. Good location for our purposes which was needing place near airport after late night arrival, then heading on driving vacation.
Review 104:Nothing. It smelt like smoke and the front room staff was very rude. When I mentioned it smelt like smoke in a non smoking room she was veryrude and handed me an empty air freshener. Which tells me it had beenused frequently. You should either state you are an all smoking hotel orgo non. Cannot do both.
Review 105:The breakfast eggs and sausage were of very poor quality in my estimation. But there was plenty of other food so that I was not left hungry.
Review 106:The buffet dinner for the reunion was excellent! The servers were prompt and competent. This was a pleasant surprise, and made up for the worn, stained carpets in the area of the rooms. We also ate in the grill & lounge area and were pleased with the food there, too.
Review 107:It needs a makeover. The hallways are dirty and dingy the carpeting needs to be replaced. The rooms are dated. The swimming pool is nothing. The grassy area could be fixed up and would be a nice place to hang out. With the bar there. The casino is a joke.
Review 108:they did not have my room available when I arrived at 9 pm despite calling at 6 pm to tell them we would arrive late. Had to wait 30 min to get room.
Review 109:Got there one hour after checkin and no room was available for us. After 20 minutes I was sent on my way. Came back that night and got our room. Looked at bill and noticed it was a sleeping room, which we didn't ask for and didn't want. After being told it couldn't be fixed, we complained and suddenly they were able to find a "nonsmoking" room. As soon as we opened the door we could tell it was a smoking room even though clearly labeled non. Asked for new room but was told there were none available. Spent the night and decided by morning that perhaps the chair had come from a smoking room and brought the odor with it. By the way, on each occasion when we encountered a problem we asked if an adjustment could be made on the rate and were instead given a $5 off coupon for the adjoining casino and grill which we didn't plan to use. Would be much happier with $5 off the room as a true gesture of regret. May return once because of good value, but if happens again, forget it.
Review 110:Rates and continental breakfast were good. Didn't use outdoor pool and hot tub but looked ok
Review 111:The carpet throughout the common areas of the hotel was filthy dirty and needed at minimum to be cleaned or replaced
Review 112:Breakfast, plenty of parking, in house bar, close to everything, pool
Review 113:Nothing, everything was how they described it.
Review 114:The staff were courteous, helpful and available all the time we needed their help. Room and breakfast were excellent for the price we paid.
Review 115:Wi-FI a disaster, didn't work, on & off couldn't download work e-mails which meant big backlog for me. Staff didn't know much to help.
Review 116:Room was good and spacious. Pool area was good and bar/ food was handy in adjoining area.
Review 117:Arrived at 3:15 and had to wait until 4:20 to check in due to there notbeing fresh sheets for my bed, I was told.
Review 118:Good value for the money compared to other hotels I looked at on line; Iusually stay at the hawthorn suites, and would have this visit if theyhad had a room available.
Review 119:The front desk people were slow and not very helpful. I booked three rooms far in advance and they were not close to each other. Wi-Fi was slow or not available. After leaving, I had a case of pubic lice. Local neighborhood was sleazy.
Review 120:It was within walking distance to the center of town.
Review 121:Nothing.
Review 122:Friendly staff. Spacious room. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice pool. Good food and service in the restaurant lounge. Good breakfast selection. Very relaxing stay.
Review 123:This place is dirty. Carpets and floors are gross. There is no elevator which isn't that big of a deal, but the staircases are stained. Oh the internet was broken for.our entire stay, the hot tub was out of service, and the single toaster they had was also busted...how hard is it to replace a toaster?? The staff were relatively friendly, except one rude woman our last day that hassled us about a late checkout. For $80 a night I expect much higher quality of accommodation and service. Whoever rated this a 3 star hotel was definitely drunk.
Review 124:Not too much. Room was alright. Nothing special, pretty basic.
Review 125:No door on bathroom! Hot water took forever.
Review 126:Breakfast was ok, lot's of room for dining. Inadvertently booked a smoking room. Did not notice any smell.
Review 127:The room rate change. We stayed there because it was a very reasonable price; we recommended it to others for that. Now it's 30 percent higher??? Room could be cleaner...bathroom floor corners.
Review 128:I like that I got a reservation on the road from the car. I like the desk clerk's help with a room change. Room was large with frig and coffee, and breakfast was varied and generous..
Review 129:AC did not work on one of the hottest days/nights, it was miserable. No water pressure in the shower, it was tedious and frustrating.
Review 130:Bed was comfy Clean Location Price Spacious!
Review 131:We arrived late at night. The desk girl was on a personal call and stick her finger up at us like as in just a minute. After serveral seconds and some giggling she set the phone down. Not hanging up just laying it on the counter. After getting our key for the room with no explaination of breakfast or amenities she went back to her phone call. She was neither cordial or polite. Too worried about her phone call. Probably why the three times I called during that night to let them know we would be late, that she didn't bother to answer the phone. The room was just ok. A note saying to use the makeup wipes instead of the wash cloths. To save on cost for the hotel. Nice!! Some people have skin allergies. Needless to say..wasn't that great of an experience.
Review 132:Not a lot.
Review 133:We requested a quiet room as we were overnighting and leaving early in the morning. We were placed beside one of two entrydoors in the hotel that did not have sound barriers. We were concerned after 10 minutes into our stay hearing the door slam several times. There was a lot of traffic through this door way to. Secondary parking lot. We asked the front desk for a room change, but we were told it wasn't possible as we had already been in the room for 10 minutes and they would have to clean the room. (Weird because we only spent that time making a phone call). It ended up being quiet in the night, but we realized in the morning that another guest had used a rug to prop the entry door open. This was great for the sound, but it concerned me a little in terms if the security. We won't be back. Stay away from room 126.
Review 134:A newer feeling facility with ample parking space.
Review 135:After hobbling in on a flat tire from Washington the staff abrasively greeted. The man told us that we could have called if we were going to be late, we arrived at 2 am. Funny how well cell phone service doesn't work in mountain passes. He took my id verified that it was my reservation and passed us the keys like a football player. He offered no direction to where our room was, services, or where to park. It was only when I vocally announced that I planned to write several reviews on numerous travel sites did he offer up an apology. Too late damage done I won't be back or recommend this place.
Review 136:Restaurant food was not good. Seemed to be very short on staff, although the bartender/waitress did quite well trying to keep up with a crowd.
Review 137:comfortable room - friendly staff
Review 138:We reserved a king room well in advance of our trip and ended up with two queen beds. I was told at check in it was because we reserved on line. That it was the booking agency's fault not their fault. I believe we kept getting moved down the list as people came for rooms knowing we had reserved already. I received confirmation for a deluxe king room for 89.95 plus taxes.
Review 139:The hotel was conveniently located. It was very quiet, clean, and had a good comp breakfast.
Review 140:We enjoyed the pool and hot tub after our long travels. The hotel was CLEAN, well kept and simple. We requested an extra blanket and it was brought to us promptly. We requested airport shuttle service late at night and the van was there waiting. We ate at the restaurant connected to the hotel for dinner... The food was great and reasonable prices. Free breakfast in the morning: Waffles and eggs, cereal and bagels. Very nice staff. We even found a hiking trail a few blocks from the hotel. We had reserved a rental car for our second day in Missoula and found Budget rental car building just a few blocks away. Very convienietly located.
