Reviews for Crystal Inn Hotel & Suites - St. George

Review 1:Dirty. Even had "Sorry for the sand" signs all over the hotel.

Review 2:Spacious room + tiny balcony. Nice choice for breakfast. Heated outdoor pool. Nice location - close to Zion National Park. Great choice of TV Channels.

Review 3:The internet did not work in our room so we had to go to the lounge. We did mention to the staff but don't think there was anything they could do

Review 4:Staff was great Pool and spa was great.

Review 5:Great location with lovely pool and good breakfast. Property has a lovely ambience and poolside rooms are great. Friendly and helpful staff made our 4 day stay very enjoyable.

Review 6:The room carpet and bathroom wasn't quite as clean as I'd like including towels. Roll away bed for one of our teen sons was very uncomfortable - shouldn't have been charged. Dogs had gone to bathroom out back in rock flower beds but it wasn't picked up.

Review 7:Staff and location to freeway were excellent. Allowing pets is a major plus!

Review 8:Older hotel with those crummy ceilings.

Review 9:I chose this hotel because of the good reviews re: comfy beds. This proved to be true. Good night's sleep for road travelers.

Review 10:Breakfast was included in the price, but was very poor the morning we were there. Plenty of choice, but the hot food was dried out and almost inedible. Maybe they weren't trying too hard because there was low occupancy at the time.

Review 11:A perfectly good hotel for an overnight stay while travelling. A range of places to eat within a short distance.

Review 12:Creepy maintenance man said I had a nice smile while walking in the hallway.

Review 13:It was 15 minutes from Tuahcahn, close to good restaurants, and easy to find. The room was very large, with a nice sliding glass door. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Nice pool, spa and a sauna were great to use. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, French toast sticks, as well as typical continental breakfast items.

Review 14:Having an elevator was very nice since my wife has a hard time climbing stairs. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was also nice. The outdoor pool was heated and large. Our second story room also had a small balcony that we could stand on. We also enjoyed the expanded breakfast menu and large seating area.

Review 15:Nothing worth mentioning. The odd location gets a little getting used to, but turned out fine.

Review 16:We were pleasantly surprised. Clean, helpful help, and a VERY nice breakfast.

Review 17:The staff were very friendly, and referred us to great restaurants and historical places to visit. The pool is magnificent! Truly resort quality. It is heated and large. They even paint the palm tree trunks to match the beautiful red mountains surrounding the resort. This is our place to stay in St. George from no on.

Review 18:no complaints

Review 19:Breakfast was opened until 10 AM, making it great, after a late night at Tuacon the night before. The manager came around and visited, he made us feel welcome.

Review 20:The breakfast room was dark and atmosphere was cold.

Review 21:We liked the large & comfortable room, and the big pool outside. The staff was nice and the hotel is well located, close to facilities/restaurants. I recommend this place!

Review 22:That you need to ring the front desk for coffee and soaps after they have cleaned the room

Review 23:The pool. The facilities. The fridge. The location and friendliness of staff

Review 24:Not having a room available. Loud kids and adults in hallways from 8:40 to past 11:30 pm. One of my group was suffering from migraine and did not appreciate rudeness of people. Also, we left before breakfast was available, but did get coffee.

Review 25:The only bad thing was in order to get wifi we date go outside by the laundry room or down by the office. Not very convenient.quite enjoyable and we will come again.

Review 26:The staff, the location, the breakfast was great. Overall a very good visit.

Review 27:Nothing

Review 28:Very friendly staff that greeted us when we arrived and helped us With an extra bed. We also got connecting rooms which was Nice Tennis Courts and pool The breakfast was super compared to other american hotels Laundry facilities were above average

Review 29:The breakfast was terrible. There was no fresh fruit or pastries and they kept running out of some of the other food and we had to wait to have it refilled. Other than that the stay was nice.

Review 30:Staff was very friendly, rooms are nice but need some updating. LOVE the pool. It's big, and warm year round.

Review 31:A few more umbrellas for the sunbeds would have been nice as it was sunny and 99 degrees outside

Review 32:We just stayed one night but the hotel is very nice. They have a great pool and a hottub. Breakfast was very nice!

Review 33:The carpet was so dirty. The bottom of our feet were black. Need more options in breakfast. If you stay more than one day, they have the same thing every day.

Review 34:Access to pool is nice from rooms.

Review 35:The only thing I don't like about this hotel is going home. :)

Review 36:The pool at the Crystal Inn is sublime! I hesitate to say this, because I don't want it to get overcrowded. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is very good, and the pool and hot tub are wonderful! The staff is always very accommodating as well. They even loaned the grandkids tennis rackets and tennis balls so they could use the hotel's courts. So Nice!!

Review 37:Attractive, comfortable, pleasant all around. Quick, pleasant, welcoming staff. Lovely, court yard pool - made a beautiful view from my room. My very nice, small deck over-looked the pool and view beyond. So nice to sleep with a door to the outside open!

Review 38:the town was a 45 min drive from zion which was the purpose of our stay. granted it is a lovely drive but we would have booked a place closer to the park had we realized this.

Review 39:staff was very friendly. room was super clean. pool was great!

Review 40:Nothing.

Review 41:The hotel is a great place to stay for either a stop over on your way back from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas, or as a place to stay on a day trip to Zion park as it is about a 45minute drive to Zion. It was excellent value for money. Easy to find just off the freeway at junction 6. The breakfast and pool were very good as well. It was just a shame we couldn't stay longer, very relaxing after out trip around the National parks and a great end to our holiday.

Review 42:I had a hard time with the pillows. They were too firm. I'm sure they were down, but maybe too full. I ended up sleeping flat on the mattress.

Review 43:Overall the place was great.

Review 44:Seriously? Not even one thing.

Review 45:The staff goes out lf their way to make you comfortable and find you the room you will love. We have stayed there may times and will go back again. I wish there were a better than excellent rating for their breakfast buffet. It is tasty and offers many choices. The hotel is out of the way, but it's still close to everything.

Review 46:The location is easy to find , just off the freeway. I must admit for the nightly rate we paid that I was very impressed with the comfort of the bed and that it included free WiFi as well as breakfast. Will definitely stay there again if we go to St George

Review 47:No decent place for pets to do their business. Not close to city restaurants and activities.

Review 48:Wonderful inside -- looked disappointing on outside when arriving.

Review 49:Far from Zion national park

Review 50:Most case outside pool is very cold so is not enjoyable especially for Japanese adults, but this hotel has nice warm outside pool even not-summer season. It is very comfortable for ours. I can enjoy the pool with my three kids. Also price is very good. I personally think this is due to the location (the hotel is located in kind of new constructed place) but very near to I-15 and several food place and gas station.

Review 51:It was nice that breakfast was included, but it was pretty generic. I would have liked individual yogurts instead of a big bowl. Hard boiled eggs would be nice, and lotion in the rooms too.

Review 52:Even though the pool could use a scrubbing around the rim and some tile repairs could be done, it was our favorite thing there. The water temperature was perfect.

Review 53:Pool is a little bit to small for such a lot of families and kids.

Review 54:Staff was very friendly, rooms are big and calm. Breakfast is great but take care that you are on time: exact at 10 am they stop to refill.

Review 55:We absolutely love staying here. Our room was clean and comfortable. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and a DVD player. It was in a very convenient location right off the freeway and close to restaurants and stores. The pool area was great. One of the best parts of our stay was the FREE breakfast. It was a full hot meal. Not just a bagel or fruit. Everything you could want to eat for breakfast and then some!! They also had a nice seating area that we could all sit together like we were at a restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family.

Review 56:The radio didn't work and we couldn't get the music channel on the TV in spite of the fact that the guy at the desk said he would fix it.

Review 57:We liked the room. It was bright and cheery and pretty soundproof.. The staff was great. and the breakfast was tasty with good choices. .

Review 58:They don't use a good detergent on the bedding. It smelled bad and I could smell someone's strong sweat smell on one of the pillows. They are too green to be really clean.

Review 59:Nice room and view. Friendly staff, Bed was ok but the stove and fridge were good. Bathroom was clean. We are staying there again.

Review 60:We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is well kept. Has a heated pool, suana and fast wifi and cooked breakfast. Given the relatively low rate, it an excellent value.

Review 61:When the housekeeper came by and we were still in the room, she simply asked if we wanted anything from her cart. I told her we were leaving in a few minutes and asked her to return to clean the room at that time. When we returned to the room that night, the trash had been taken, and the beds were sloppily made, but the room had not really been cleaned. Also, we had to ask for a coffee maker (they didn't have a tea kettle) and when I asked, they told me to feel free to come and get it. It would have been better to have it in the room in the first place or bring it to me when I ask.

Review 62:The pool, spa, and sauna were open in January. I loved using the hot spa and sauna on icy evenings. It was an unusual treat.

Review 63:Heated pool without time restrictions; amazing hot tube; good hot breakfast; super comfortable bed; big room and helpful staff. We made our stay one night longer than originally planned.

Review 64:Keep in mind the property is located pretty close to the highway. I sleep w earplugs so no issue for me. Did not notice the traffic while in the pool area so not sure if this is a negative or not.

Review 65:I loved our room on the ground floor, optional room access thru the sliding door to our parking spot was a bonus because we had lots of gear to bring in. If you have a room on the poolside or on the 2nd floor it would be a long haul thru the lobby and down the hallway. We were also steps away from accessing the pool/hot tub/sauna as well as laundry facilities. After 2 weeks on the road, laundry facilities were a huge bonus. The breakfast was excellent. Hot iron to make waffles, fresh fruit salad, cottage cheese, bowl filled w apples/oranges, dispenser for hot chocolate, flavoured coffee as well as regular tea/coffee. Never mind the scrambled eggs & sausages! I could go on!! The pool was beautiful and warm. I can envision families staying for their entire vacation on this property.

Review 66:The cleanliness and friendly staff. Would love to come again and use the pool area. We didn't try the breakfast but from the crowd inside that speaks well.

Review 67:The hotel is old and it smelled like dirty carpet. This hotel needs a face lift.

Review 68:The location which was easy to get on and off I-15. There were plenty of eating places.

Review 69:Difficult to find driving North.

Review 70:Reasonable check- out time and pool hours. Opportunity for evening swim. Found it very convenient to have access to the car right out-side our room. Good planning.

Review 71:The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. the pillows were good. trouble with smoke alarm was repaired within a few minutes. The breakfast was great.

Review 72:Noisy AC. I know many people like the brekfast here but we are very healthy eaters so it was not for us. Had some instant oatmeal. The only fruit offered was apples and oranges, both out of season.

Review 73:We had a clean and spacious room. The pool was wonderful with an 8' deep end. Trees and lots of chairs and tables. Good value for the money.

Review 74:Witnessed an incident where some angry redneck resident bellowed at aHispanic girl in the pool for a misdemeanour...shouting "Get outnow or I"ll call the sheriff, out...out now!!" blatantbullying of which the staff did nothing to ask them to correct theirattitude also. Not impressed with this kind of approach as it interferedwith my family and was quite clearly an overreaction which wasunnecessary and quite frankly lacked any class and left us disappointedwith an otherwise pleasant overnight stay. Breakfast was bland and notreplenished after 9am.

Review 75:Reception was friendly, pool was good and warm! Good space andfacilities in the room and The young man on Reception was very helpfulon Sunday night.

Review 76:Everything was great !

Review 77:Excellent staff, very courteous and helpful. Beautiful rooms. Great breakfast. Lovely pool!!!! :) We couldn't be more happier with our visit to the Crystal Inn St George Utah

Review 78:We had a room facing west and the a/c wasn't cooling. They moved us immediately and were very nice about it. Always polite and accommodating Good choices at the breakfast bar!!

Review 79:This was the best value of all the hotels on our 2 week road trip through 6 states. Clean, spacious, friendly and with a poolside coin laundry that we really needed after a week of travel. The pool was fantastic and not to be missed. We used this hotel as a base for 2 days of exploring Zion and Bryce Canyon. A highlight for my son was the fabulous hot breakfast included in the price of the room.

Review 80:At first they gave us the key of a room that was already taken. Awkward situation when we entered and saw a man in his underwear eating chips in his bed. He wasn't too happy either!

Review 81:Perfect clean room with pool view. We had a nice swim and jacuzzi dip in the morning. Breakfast was ok, being vegan we could have bagels with jam/peanut butter.

Review 82:There was a musty odor in the bathroom of room 142 that lingered the entire two days.

Review 83:Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect. Pool was comfortable and fun.

Review 84:We loved everything about our stay... from the pool to breakfast to housekeeping and front desk. The rooms were great with the patio style sliding doors to convenient parking.

Review 85:Extremely nice management, clean quite. All our wishes granted prior to arrival they read the reservation ; to have room on top floor quite not close to ice machine. Value for the money exhalent

Review 86:Day 1, in the morning, the Gal at the Front Desk made eye contact with me but was stone cold, no "good morning" or nothing...she needs some help....Crystal Inn is kinda out in the sticks...next time i'm staying at the Ramada, since many Retail/Resturants are within close walking distance. Need Ketchup in a bottle, not packets, people use tons of ketchup. Maids were nicer than staff at the desk.

Review 87:Very Quiet, Comfortable Bed, Nice Pool, Excellent Breakfast Buffet, Good Amenities: Suana, Jaquzzi, Spacious Room. Over all I'd recommend the Crystal Inn, but only if you don't need to walk to retail stores ....it's in a remote location south of the city.

Review 88:Soft beds and great pool. Helpful staff.

Review 89:Age of Facilities
