Reviews for Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa
Review 1:Dirty dishes and beer bottles scattered around the pool for hours before being picked up.
Review 2:Beautiful grounds. Relaxing atmosphere. An overall great visit to South Florida.
Review 3:Staff needs to better manage boats to the beach. We were told to just walk down to get it, but once there we were informed that we needed to sign up to ensure a space. We were unable to get on and the next boat wouldn't come for 45 minutes. With a tight schedule, we were unable to get to the beach. Had we been informed prior to the sign up procedure we would have been fine.
Review 4:Great children 's activities. We had a great time!
Review 5:Experience was 100% positive!
Review 6:Staff was welcoming and always looking to improve experience. Pools beautiful. So happy, I took package with included Full American Breakfast!!! Homemade omelettes were terrific.
Review 7:Just didn't get a great feeling about the hotel - would be gone for 5 to 6 hours and room still not cleaned - will definitely be returning to the golf Ritz - Carlton
Review 8:l Location was good
Review 9:The food options were poor. Need to offer some healthy alternatives, less processed food. Need some fresh fruit and vegetable options that are quick to grab and go. Only found one type of salad option offered, and most of what is available has a ton of sugar. I did not eat at the restaurants much as I try to avoid excess salt. Would be nice to have a few options for guests with dietary needs that involve low sodium/low sugar foods.
Review 10:The fitness facility is great. Very nice equipment, great variety.
Review 11:Beautiful hotel. Honest staff; I accidently left some clothing and my Kindle in a drawer. Not only was it all turned in but when I called the staff was courteous and helpful and reassured me I was not the only dummy who left things in the room. The packaged and sent me all my items in less than 2 days!
Review 12:We went to sleep listening to a baby cry and was awoken by the same baby crying in the morning! Dog barking very early in the AM out in the hallway. For the price if the room why are dogs allowed!
Review 13:Rooms were a little pricey. Bed was too hard and hurt my back.
Review 14:Beautiful property. Excellent staff. Sunday prime rib night at Tanglewood was excellent. Pools were nice with abundant lounge chairs.
Review 15:Never a bad experience. Got married there in 04 and back again every couple of months since. Great "stay cation" since we live locally
Review 16:We love it all. We can only compare the service and cleanliness to the Ritz Carlton in Naples, locally
Review 17:The weather was awful. They had the pool closed several times. My kids couldn't access the slide, rock climbing wall, couldn't take the boat ride to the beach. Also they minimum staffing at pool area.
Review 18:very cleanliness throughout the resort.
Review 19:Toilet leaked all night and the next day the issue was fixed. Waited too long for breakfast, with a baby and a toddler it felt forever. Fees were high and room service very pricy. My husband said that the bed was not comfort For $300 a night we expected more.
Review 20:First with the arrival we manage to change the room to a balcony room, it was 4th of July weekend so it was nice. The room was very clean and nice, we had a king size , a rollout bed and a pack n play and still was much space to move. Good was very good Stuff very nice
Review 21:Not enough towels in bathroom. don't like to bother room service for additional towels.
Review 22:Overall we love this resort! Try to go every summer Room, pool, beach! Customer service
Review 23:Whoever laid out this property did not miss a thing, we always stay atthe Ritz in Naples,& Inn on the Fifth, this blows the Ritz out ofthe top rankings & for a fraction of the price, 3 pools and thegrounds and what they offer is fabulous. The restaurants were amazing,we were at all of them. Fabulous.
Review 24:The staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there. Everywhere was very clean. Facility had plenty of activities for the kids. We loved the fire pit. We would definitely recommend this place to friends amd family.
Review 25:location is out in nowhere, practically forcing one to drive a lot to see something, eat somewhere else. Impression was one of cleverly designed businesplan forcing one to consume virtually everything on location. breakfast room and what goes with a good one was missing. No atmosphere.
Review 26:friendliness relative, servicemindedness of people
Review 27:The location is excellent , a short trip to Fort Myers/Naples. Pools are wonderful, children's, adult and lap pools with lots of chairs available. Beach is absolutely gorgeous, a short fun boat trip over to the island, we even saw dolphins on the trip back!
Review 28:Very poor housekeeping Lack of balcony on every other floor Expensive, yet poor quality breakfast Uncomfortable beds Noisy fan in the bathroom that was impossible to turn off
Review 29:Impressive grounds Modern room decoration Interesting boat trips to the private island
Review 30:I was expecting a balcony that we could sit on. I guess there was a mix up as we got a balcony but not one big enough to fully enjoy. Not that big a deal.
Review 31:the cleaning staff that serviced the rooms could have done a better job. they didn't refresh clean glasses or tea packets.
Review 32:the resort was beautiful inside & out! the beach the resort has access to was gorgeous & we saw dolphins swimming 10 ft from us!! Delightful! The food at all restaurants was very good quality. the seafood was the best.
Review 33:the feeling that you are just a customer wo has gonna pay to pay a lot. And as soon as possible. During New years buffet Waitress Jane B. brought the bill while i was eating mine maincourse.. Therefour she came ask 30 times if everything was Ok . The bill wasn't either correct .
Review 34:Swimmingpool with slide for the children .
Review 35:Room maintenance was below average. We needed to ask fore things like replacing coffee, toilet paper and washcloths.
Review 36:The facility was beautiful with fountains and torches. Really well done.
Review 37:The bed was not comfortable somehow and I'm not a picky sleeper. The staff at breakfasts can be friendlier. They seemed very busy running around.
Review 38:We enjoyed our 3 nights stay very much. The food and service at Tarpon Bay were excellent (thank you Jamie). The boat rides and facilities at the private island beach added the luxurious touch to the resort.
Review 39:Didn't like that we scrambled to get down to the boat by 9:45 to leave for the private island only to sit there for over a half hour before we left. If the schedule says its leaving at 9:45 it should depart on time. Note that the boat and Captain were sitting at Dock the entire time.
Review 40:Loved that we had access to the private island to layout and shell. Saw some Dolphins...it was perfect!
Review 41:We stayed on the club level and found that the lounge was not comfortable, food was not special, and we were charged for alcohol. I do not believe that the extra cost for the club level is worth the extra money.
Review 42:updated clean rooms pool area boat ride to beach
Review 43:Absolutely stinking attitude of checkout woman who refused to correct invoice despite my producing written confirmation of a different room rate that I booked at. She was rude, patronising (suggested I got my maths wrong (I'm an accountant)) and showed frustration that I dared question my bill.
Review 44:Parking, good rooms and pleasant catering staff
Review 45:The weather, but you can't do anything about that.
Review 46:We liked everything. We wished we could have spent more time at the hotel but we were working! Definately would come here on a vacation. We plan on doing just that!
Review 47:Beach access required a boat ride to a private island; Birds are a nuisance when dining at the pool-side cafe
Review 48:Beautiful hotel and grounds; Excellent, helpful staff; Gorgeous pools with plenty of seating and shady spots (sunny areas too for those so inclined); Fantastic option for included breakfast; Quiet, well-appointed rooms with comfy beds
Review 49:The interior decor of the room was really strange and unsettling. The only chair in the room not only looked uncomfortable but was hideous in design.
Review 50:The general decor and landscaping was outstanding.
Review 51:I don't like when I am charged a spa facilities fee for every day, regardless of if I use the facilities. This is not their fault as I chose the Hotel. On a more serious note, I was very specific that I am a gluten free person and they accidentally gave me the wrong toast on my breakfast plate. Fortunately, they caught it before I ate it, but this is potentially serious. If a child (or me) ate it they would have had an ambulance at their door. Make sure you tell them and then re-tell them each and every time. As I know, I am always responsible for my food choices, but this item was on the children's menu, so make sure you are very clear with them before ordering.
Review 52:I loved the facilities, which were clean, well appointed and close to everywhere I needed to be. I loved the room service food. I ordered a NY Strip Steak and it was better than I have had at major high end steak houses. I was able to rest well and enjoy the visit because everything I needed was available. The pool area was wonderful, and easy to get a good swim in by avoiding the pool with the children if that is what I wanted, and I did! Best of all were the staff, who were always very receptive and friendly.
Review 53:Daily charge and yet certain parts of the complex were off limits due to labour day yet charges stood...not impressed
Review 54:Nice hotel, clean and nice location
Review 55:Tarpon Bay was closed for rennovations. Bed squeaked. No bench for luggage. Would have preferred a small sofa rather than the "cage" chair.
Review 56:great location, wonderful property, great restaurant and spa, friendly staff. The Newfoundland dog mascots were a really nice touch for those missing their own pets.
Review 57:It's Perfect and thank you for setting your expectation high for your staff. The staff was perfect.
Review 58:Access to Hyatt Coconut Plantation and Hyatt Regency Resort Spa made it a perfect combination for my family.
Review 59:No negatives!!!
Review 60:The staff, pools, grounds, marina, ferry to the private island, use of lazy river and facilities at other location by trolley. Great value for the money. My grandchildren had the time of their lives.
Review 61:Did not get a chance to make it to the private island since you had to take a boat and the one time we tried it was raining. Not the hotel's fault but was hoping to see it.
Review 62:The zero entry pool and slides were a big hit with the kids. All the restaurants were really good. We never had to leave the resort while we were there.
Review 63:Typical large size hotel
Review 64:Great pool area for everybody, adult pool, water slide Staff was very helpful and nice Breakfast - large choice and good service
Review 65:Since our check in, staff knew our names which made us feel like home. As a family we enjoyed every single amenity the hotel has to offer. My kids could not wait to go to the waterslide and go every night to play chess. Having the lazy river as an extra amenity worked well for our family. We'll absolutely recommend this resort to our friends and family!!!
Review 66:the question should be what didn't we like and the answer would be nothing. it was truly a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. the private beach has been expanded and the beauty remains unequalled. the staff is at all times friendly and informative. we travel all over the world and have never taken time to fill out one of these surveys but this time our experience was so memorable we felt it our honor to let everyone know how great the hyatt regency at coconut pointe is.
Review 67:No shuttle bus service from airport, so a $38 taxi ride. Room was excellent for a relaxing holiday but not ideal for a business stay.
Review 68:Spacious clean hotel. Excellent delicatessen. air conditioned throughout.
Review 69:Our stay was respectively more expense because it was over the 4th of July, but we were disappointed to have to order room service for dinner. One of the two restaurants on site was all seafood and the other was only offering a limited buffet.
Review 70:The available pools and poolside amenities were amazing.
Review 71:We're a mature couple and enjoy a quiet resort. So when the holiday came near so did the families with children (lots and lots of children) and their dogs. Then we heard dogs barking and children screaming up and down the hallways. Our advise - time your visit wisely.
Review 72:Location was great. Beautiful grounds and right on the water. We timed it PERFECTLY when the crowds were low and we practically had the resort to ourselves for the first 3 days!
Review 73:Loved this hotel! Great outdoor pool area..didnt feel thw need to leave the property or even go to the beach!
Review 74:Too 'spensive
Review 75:Dece location
Review 76:All of the hidden fees!!!! Resort fees, valet fees etc...
Review 77:no beach
Review 78:we all enjoyed the lazy river...
Review 79:Nothing except it rain too much
Review 80:Best place I have ever stayed!!! Wonderful people and building. Ended up proposing to my girlfriend there
Review 81:I made reservations for the lazy river and apparently my name was not on the list.
Review 82:The atmosphere was very relaxing and comfortable
Review 83:Everything
Review 84:Service was poor
Review 85:Enjoyed our stay. Will be back
Review 86:The hotel was full crowded
Review 87:The adjoining room noise came thru the connecting door as if it was open.
Review 88:The waitresses were very friendly and personable.
Review 89:We really enjoyed the pool. The staff was very accommodating.
Review 90:A little overpriced for the season, at leastthe breakfast had to be included
Review 91:Seafood restaurant too much over charge.
Review 92:So much things my family can do to have fun.
Review 93:The staff were so professional and helpful. The premises was spotless and had great attention to detail. In all a perfect two nights stay.
Review 94:The prices of the foods
Review 95:Almost everythings
Review 96:The friendly staff, beautiful property, grat location. Room was very nice, bed very comfortable
Review 97:Plastic shower curtain!!
Review 98:Short boat ride to hotels private beach, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas
Review 99:We used it as a base to explore the region.
Review 100:Perfect family getaway. Super friendly staff, fun activities, and a beautiful setting.
Review 101:Would like to be on the beach. Blood on pillow case.
Review 102:There are no comments available for this review
Review 103:Is nothing to dislike .
Review 104:I loved the whole feel of the place. The openness of the room with three balconies! Visited the spa. .. so wonderful! I'll rebook!
Review 105:A very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. We were only one night there but the restaurants and the breakfeast was excellent. Thank you so much.
Review 106:The price of the breakfast
Review 107:Loved it, excellent staff and location. We loved our stay
Review 108:we had no sleep at the hotel because of people drunk etc in the next room
Review 109:Excellent facility and location
Review 110:The mosquito's.
Review 111:Access ability to premium golf.
Review 112:Staff is great..hotel amenities are outstanding
Review 113:Food was expensive
Review 114:Service and amenities
Review 115:Room was comfortable but with a terrible view of rooftops and no balcony.
Review 116:Attended a business meeting at this hotel and conference facilities and staff were very good. Looks like a lovely resort for a vacation trip with several pools and other amenities available.
Review 117:Very noisy when Wedding Parties get out of Hand!
Review 118:Private Island reached by Shuttle boat is nice! However it wld be an approval if Drinks are provided on Island Very nice and friendly check in with a Glass of Champagne.
Review 119:We liked everything about our vacation so I don't have any negatives to report.
Review 120:This hotel is terrific. We picked it based on an internet search but were not dosappointed. Everything is fabulous. Great amenities for adults and children alike. The staff were very accommodating and we didn't have any issues the whole trip. Also, there is a shuttle to go shopping or to the movies, or you can arrange hotel transportation at any time. And, there's a shuttle to the nearby other Hyatt which has another amazing pool situation including a beautiful lazy river. The beach is also very nice. The boat ride is 15 minutes to a private island that's very secluded and relaxing. So, tons to do all in all.
Review 121:Issue with check out - the price I received and was quoted from you theydid not have and were charging me $60 per night more. They credited thetotal once I gave them a copy of the Bookings confirmation
Review 122:The property was excellent, location was ideal, room was spacious andjust want we wanted
