Review 1：Stayed on the 4th floor in a non smoking room, but smoke from the smoking rooms overpowered the hallway and seeped into the room. Stains on bedding with mushy wiggly bed.

Review 3：The Hotel rooms could use a face lift. It's clean but old. The TV in our room was ancient. The door in the bathroom was peeling.

Review 9：A LOT of homeless people loitering on corner and sidewalks around the hotel. Was a bit nervous to walk across the street to Starbucks. Hallways smelled musty.

Review 10：Right off freeway. Walking distance to Starbucks, Froyo Earth, 7-11 & food. Good for a one-night stay. Clean room, wi-fi and A/C.

Review 11：poor customer service. The blanket had a baseballs-sized hole in it, and when I reported it the staff did not offer a replacement. The AC produced such a foul odor we had to turn it off. No effort was made to compensate us for the sleepless night.

Review 18：I booked 6 months or more ago. I requested 4 rooms on 1st floor one being handicapped. When arriving the manager checked my husband and I in. The rest of my party was arriving at different times. Sarah the manager couldn't understand the reservation. After much explaining we got it straight. Our rooms were on the second floor. All rooms were suppose to have 2 queen beds. Mine had doubles and were very uncomfortable! The other three had queens which were nice very comfy. Two of the rooms didn't have refrigerators or microwaves. When asked why no frigs or microwaves i was told you had to request them. I was told it cost more to have a frig and microwave. I told the girl behind the counter the was a flat lie. I was paying for all the rooms and they were all the same price. I also had previously found my room and the other one without the frig or microwave were the only two rooms in the hotel without. This was frustrating as we were there four days, it was very hot in the 90's. We had coolers that needed ice. We had brought ice packs and needed to freeze them. We were told that because we booked through bookings.com we get what we get. The staff behind the counter were very unfriendly, unhelpful, and were caught in many lies. I will take my business else where! Oh plus in a very seedy area! Signs placed on front door stating they are not responsible for theft to your car in parking lot. Doesn't make you feel very safe.

Review 20：I called front desk asking for another pillow to be brought up to my room and they told me they don't do room service! Bed was hard and I had booked a queen and ended up with a double when I brought this to their attention they said their computers said I booked a single double bed I showed them my confirmation which said Queen and the lady just said well we go by our computer, bathroom was small with only a stand up shower. All in all just a horrible 2 night stay!

Review 21：The wi-wi did not work. There was no table lamp in the room, only a lamp over the headboard, so using the light to catch up on work annoyed the person trying to sleep. Drapes had holes in them.

Review 22：Pet friendly, location excellent for the purpose of our trip, good bed, quiet. No communication problems, everything went smoothly.

Review 23：They had a shower chair which was nice but it was so flimsy that is fell apart when my husband sat on it. So this is kinda like not really a dislike because most places don't even give you a shower chair but the chair was kinda pointless.

Review 24：The staff was amazing. When I booked my room I didn't ask for a handicap room but when they saw us and saw my husband in a wheel chair they switched us free of charge even though he could have gone outside and around the building to get into the one we originally had. Thank you thank you thank you. This meant he was able to take a shower which doesn't normally happen unless we pay an arm and a leg for the room.

Review 25：1.Not able to check in until 3 pm. 2. Room was small, uncomfortable, needing paint, bathroom was small and rundown. Tiles broken. 3. We couldn't get to the breakfast. Too small of an area for all the guests to use. 4. Location of hotel is in the middle of skid row. Felt very unsafe.

Review 27：Room 317 shower had pretty low pressure, the drain was backed up so there were pubic hairs swimming around my feet. The toilet was small and short. The carpet had a wet spot by the desk and the room smelled bad.

Many of the other folks staying seemed to be regulars, maybe long-term even, since the front-desk clerks seemed to know them all! Interesting bunch if you like to people-watch over breakfast as we do...

Review 39：1) I told them when I checked in that I would pay in cash, and I had even put it on the reservation with Booking.com. Then when I was checking-out, the receptionist charged my credit card before even giving me a chance to say anything. She reembursed it, but then I ended up paying more in the exchange rate. Totally unfair. 2) The breakfast goes to until 9am, but the girl starting taking the food away at 8:55 even with me there trying to get good. I had to ask her to wait. 3) The location is central, but seems a little unsafe at night. 4) The bedroom door had a gap, meaning that a person could look into the room if wanted. 5) TVs are the old version, which shows me there is a lack of investment. 6) Sent an email to the hotel chain and never received a response.

Review 41：We needed to change rooms twice in order to get one that was clean. The floors hadn't been vacuumed in either of the first two. The bathroom in the first room did not seem to have been cleaned. One of the front desk staff was very accommodating, the other was being stretched to be civil.

Review 43：Room was disgusting, there was dust everywhere. Door was damaged both from the lock and inside (scratches and dirt) and didn't shut properly. Bathroom counter was falling apart on one side. Unsightly stains on carpet made me afraid to walk barefoot. In general, room looked like it had not been maintained. Never, ever again.This is the worst hotel experience, especially for the price. We travel to Spokane frequently and were hoping to be return customers at this hotel. Definitely not happening.

Review 55：Pillows were flat and lumpy. Breakfast was ok, some of the food like the French toast, was cold. Had some spots in the room that were dirty and haven't been cleaned in a while. Location was good, but in somewhat a scary area at night (a block or two away it was a safer walk)
