Reviews for Saban Tree Houses

Review 1:Have to ask for hot water. Wondering if an electric pot could be made available to boil water esp in the cold months

Review 2:Great location and orchard. Food was great!

Review 3:Perfect location! Outstanding value. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. Be prepared for a great camping-like adventure on the sea among ruins and you will definitely NOT be disappointed. We will return!

Review 4:Nothing! Perfect!

Review 5:Whoah! Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful! Yummy breakfast and insane dinner! So much variety! I told them about my gluten intolerance so they went out of there way to make sure I could eat everything! Great location we walked everywhere, love the cabins, so cute and quiet!

Review 6:We had a great time. For the money we paid, we got a great deal. Shower was a bit too basic but considering the great time we had, we didn't even mind much.

Review 7:Tranquil settings, a beautiful stay in green nature, helpful staff and unforgettable food!

Review 8:Saban is an excellent place to rest, feel comfortable and taken care of. The staff is amazingly friendly and concerned with the well being of their guests. The food is amazing! Breakfast and dinner are included and it tastes soooo good. On top of that they took care of me and my wheat-free diet so sweetly. I love Saban and am even considering going there in winter for a hiking vacation.

Review 9:We loved our stay at Saban. The staff made us feel welcome and the food was delicious. Accommodation is basic but very clean and excellent value for money.

Review 10:Some bungalows are in twin-like setting where there is only thin wooden wall in the middle and because of poor sound insulation you can hear your neighbours, but is not that much of a problem.

Review 11:It is a nice camping like place with tree houses an bungalows. The owners are nice and wiling to help, they organize tours to local attractions (most notably Chimera - burning/flaming rocks). There is a centre place in the camp for hanging out and relaxing where also breakfast and dinner is served and you can sit around traditional Turkish style table on divans. WiFi is good only in this area. Big breakfasts and dinners are served, virtually "all you can eat", everything is fresh and a lot to choose from. They ask you how you like your eggs (boiled, fried or scrambled, w/wo vegetables...). Bungalow we stayed in was wooden, clean and had a bathroom and air conditioning. In the mid of tree houses and bungalows a lot of fruit trees grow (lemon, orange, olive...) that are regularly watered by automatic irrigation system, fruits are very tasty.

Review 12:We liked everything about this place.

Review 13:Location was great close to the beach. Food was absolutely amazing with a big selection, everything tasted great and was healthy. They have a cozy area in shade for maximum relaxation. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable. With breakfast, dinner and private cottage we paid $60 CAD which is great value.

Review 14:Saban Treehouses was an amazing place to stay. We ended up meeting a couple of Aussie girls who we travelled together with for another week after Olympos. The atmosphere is great and the food was some of the best we've had in Turkey! Owners very friendly and helpful and rooms clean.

Review 15:Great location, short walk from park entrance. Suitable accommodation for beachside location - more of an up-market travel park. Food was excellent, staff friendly, facilities more than adequate.

Review 16:Do not expect a luxurious hotel at that location for that price. The shower is ok but not the best you ever had.

Review 17:The location, the friendly staff. Being outside in the lovely garden. Total sense of freedom

Review 18:I would maybe try to book families with children in one area and those without in another.

Review 19:Breakfast and amazing dinner included, super friendly staff, nice international crowd, old and young visitors, clean, comfortable, relaxing place

Review 20:Better deals nearby.

Review 21:Picture a hybrid of Big Sur and an old-fashioned lodge in the Sierras, time-warped out of the 60s. Magical location. Cute rustic wooden cabin in the orange groves. Heater (it was getting chilly in November). Good breakfast with custom-cooked omelette. Nice, caring staff.

Review 22:very dark due to the gorge/cliff location apart from 10am to 3pm. I paid for air con as night very cold in the bungalows after sun down. worked but very noisy. Not the cleanest...loo badly stained. Staff appeared exhausted.

Review 23:The food provided on a half board basis was very good Turkish fare. No doubt in my mind this place would represent 'hell' in the Summer. In November, few visitors due to end of the season. So incredibly quiet. Good location to the ruins of Olympos and the beach. Sea fantastic and great for swimming.

Review 24:I liked everything :-)

Review 25:This was my second time at Şaban and it was even better! The included breakfast and dinner are worth the entire price of the stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and nice. There are plenty of things to do but just relaxing was my favorite. A must see in Olympos!

Review 26:That we stayed there only 3 days..

Review 27:mostly everything. Olympos is a fairy place, really magic. Saban is a relaxing quite and warm tree house, where any questions find just a "no problem" as its answer. Great dinner and breakfast quite ok. what a peace, what a relax.. The price is also great. Re-birth.

Review 28:Not many cons. If you don't mind staying in a pretty basic environment, we can recommend staying here.

Review 29:Friendly and helpful staff, very good food, pretty close to the beach, we stayed in a bungalow, which had had the benefits of a (small) private shower and toilet. Also the bungalows have actual windows, as opposed to the tree houses. That made the night pretty quiet, considering how close you are to party places.

Review 30:I was afraid I'd never leave!

Review 31:We loved everything! Meral the (the manager) was so nice and great conversation. It's laid back and very relaxing. It's an easy walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to (even the walk itself is beautiful, littered with ruins). The home cooked food was great and included with stay. I will definitely go back!

Review 32:Charming little rustic cabin, with delicious breakfast and dinner included in a great atmosphere. Great service. Olympos ruins and beach are amazing, and Saban Tree Houses fit right in.

Review 33:The bungalows had gaps in their construction which allowed the lizards to get in; i stuffed them with my towel though so it wasn't a problem. Basic bathroom facilities but perfectly acceptable for the price.

Review 34:Saban was so relaxing we decided to stay an extra night. Everything was excellent - the staff were so friendly, the location is great and not far from the beach, the cabana/dining area was so comfortable it was tempting to just lounge around there all day in the shade, but the clincher was the absolutely excellent food. My partner and i are a vegan and a vegetarian and the buffet each night was fantastic: no problem for us each to fill our plates with delicious vegetable dishes. It was some of the best food we've eaten in Turkey. Fantastic value for money too. The a/c in our bungalow was great. The rooms are within a really beautiful garden of fruit trees, its really pleasant.

Review 35:That we couldn't stay longer!

Review 36:The staff are amazing! Very welcoming and put the guests first. The food is awesome and the tree huts very comfortable.

Review 37:Staff were generally uninterested in guests and appeared miserable. The few that did make any effort felt very forced.

Review 38:Dinner is amazing. The tree house is nice, clean and comfortable although extremely hot in the middle of summer. The chill out area is great. Shared bathroom was spotless.

Review 39:The atmosphere in the common area was not as lively or friendly as other pansions.

Review 40:The rooms were quite spacious and there was more of a variety of food for everyone.

Review 41:Small room, incredibly small bathroom ( shower pratically on the wc, sink so small that you get your feet wet to wash tour teeth..) Not very comfortable

Review 42:Very nice place for dinner and breakfast (tipical big pillows). Quiet place

Review 43:Noise. Concert every night (3) we were there from across or up the valley. Think it would affect every other tree house place in the valley, and no fault of Saban. Were there during the busy summer holiday period o that could been a factor.

Review 44:Chilled out place. Perfect place to be lazy at. Great experience sleeping in a "tree house" (more a hut on stilts). Friendly lady who runs the place and speaks very good english. Clean communal shower and toilets. Cleaned multiple times in the day. Really delicious varied dinner.

Review 45:we didn't stay long enough

Review 46:as above, relaxing and friendly and a superb location. Also vegan friendly...you can easily eat vegan in Turkey if you know what to look for, but at Saban's Mel told us what was and wasn't 'safe' to eat and even cooked food especially without egg for us. Will return without a doubt!

Review 47:Olympos is too crowded

Review 48:Let's be clear: this is not an hotel, it's a camping. It's plesant to sleep in a wood barrack in the forest. The common lavatory, showers and toilets are clean. Good Breakfast and dinner included in a quite reasonable price.

Review 49:Its not a luxury resort, but it is comfortable, relaxing, friendly and an easy walk to the beach.

Review 50:Location, Very Relaxing, the Staff are amazing, the Dinners and Breakfasts are Brilliant! They can do washing for you for very cheap!

Review 51:We were 2 couples and had a bungalow each. The aircon in the room worked perfectly and provided much relief from the sweltering summer heat! The bed was comfortable enough but the bathroom/toilet was so tiny that we ended up using the communal shower so we wouldn't drench our toilet. That wasn't a problem though! There's a lovely large area out the front with many thatched cabanas where you can lounge around all day and night. The staff were exceptional, especially one of the ladies who could speak English and German really well. She always had an answer for any question we had. The half board provided was definitely the highlight. The dinners were just amazing- they put on a buffet with loads of meze, salads, and a main. The quality of the food is comparable to the best of restaurants. I would even say I've had some of the best meze's at this place. I definitely recommend this place! (Just note that if you're looking for 5 star accommodation with all the trimmings, then staying in Olympos in general isn't for you.)

Review 52:Stayed in the airconditioned bungalows which are perfect. Comfortable bed, airconditioning (quite noisy) and bathroom. Location to beach is great. Love Olympos! The staff are so friendly. The breakfast and dinner are included and DELICIOUS. Nothing better than relaxing around in the seating beds or the hammocks. Highly recommended

Review 53:We stayed in a private bungalow with airco. This was overpriced, notoiletries, not enough tissue paper and rooms were not cleanedduring our stay.Drinks must be purchased on site at inflated prices. Nothing is free, you don't even get a juice or water at breakfast. This let Saban down for me.

Review 54:Amazingly tasty dinners included in price, as expected after readingreviews. Olympus is a great chilled out town, this family run pension issooo relaxed. They also organised a Chimera tour for us, which was great.

Review 55:there is nothing I can say I didn't like :-)

Review 56:I love this place it was really relaxing you could shut down and chill out great - the food was excellent and the vibe was great I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't look for commercial built up hotel holiday areas. :-)

Review 57:The treehouse can still be warm at night (and mosquitos!).

Review 58:The staff were very friendly, and the food they served for breakfast and dinner was top notch! The whole atmosphere felt very relaxing. The wifi worked very well too. The showers and toilets were kept very clean.

Review 59:The room was not clean enough. Soap, shampoo and toilet tissue in the bathroom were insufficient and used by the previous clients.

Review 60:Breakfast&dinner.

Review 61:The price was too much for that old, stinky bungalows. We stayed in a room with a bathroom in it. But there is bathroom/toilet and it's small, old and look very bad. The joint bathrooms was nicer.

Review 62:The staff was friendly.

Review 63:The tree house. If you choose the cheapest option be aware that there are huge holes on the valls and the door has no lock. But over all, it ok for one night :)

Review 64:Food was exellent and the staff

Review 65:Room was a bit dirty and could have done with a clean as were there for 6 nights. Bins were also not emptied in room.

Review 66:Food was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. Location was also great. Would recommend a cabin with air con as it was very hot and beach is a good 15 minute walk down the hot dusty road.

Review 67:I liked everything !

Review 68:This was my 3rd visit to saban. The friendliness of the staff is excellent and the quality and variety of food in the evening is amazing. Great location.

Review 69:Very nice place! Quite, warm home atmosphere! Friendly stuff. Excellent breakfast and diner. The best please if you want to spend your weekends close to nature. Olympos beach is not crowd, the sea is very clean, path to beach going via old Likyan city with very interesting ruins with you can discover while walking to the beach.

Review 70:Bed was quite hard

Review 71:Location is excellent and breakfast and dinner included with amazing food!! Relaxed vibe, lovely staff!

Review 72:No wifi in rooms but was fine in common area

Review 73:Great place to stay - chilled vibe, very helpful and friendly staff and great food!

Review 74:excellent nature

Review 75:great food and extremely helpful staff

Review 76:Short walk to the beach, incredible nature, wonderful owners, great food!

Review 77:It wasnt exactly for young People Who look for fun and company

Review 78:It was all empty while the place across was packed

Review 79:Internet was limited, toilet/shower could be improved.

Review 80:Friendly helpful staff

Review 81:there is no internet in the room

Review 82:food,location and staff

Review 83:the owners behave like they dont want us to be there. i never choose this place.

Review 84:close to beach - 5min walking clean rooms, big enough for two :)

Review 85:Awesome staff, beautiful setting and amazing food!

Review 86:Well located in a beautiful area, excellent food every day, really good value for money and helpful staff. Nothing not to like!

Review 87:roosters, wind

Review 88:food was incredible. kids loved it. great value for money and very authentic

Review 89:Very basic accommodation, poor toilet in-house

Review 90:Excellent meal, very nice location&closest to the seaside, excellent value for money

Review 91:wi-fi reception was temperamental

Review 92:food at dinner buffet was excellent

Review 93:Music from the hotel across the road

Review 94:The location, relaxed atmosphere, the food, the layout of facilities. general mentality of the place.

Review 95:crowded. food not exceptional.

Review 96:15 mins walking from the beach (you can ask for umbrella). staff is kind and ready to help.

Review 97:lovely owner, clean rooms, very good dinner included);eccellent quality/price ratio

Review 98:Staff, location, food, comfy beds, value

Review 99:Really lovely lady her owns thw place. Dinner was included in the price and delicious. Really loved the hangout area aswell

Review 100:no mosquito prevention in tree houses

Review 101:food is nice

Review 102:Bathroom, bed, etc. Staff unfriendly, mean and fake.

Review 103:Olympos

Review 104:Excellent food, very friendly staff, beautiful beach. Very good valuefor money - 15 Euro per person inclusive breakfast and great dinner

Review 105:The food is amazing!!! Two meals included in the price is fantastic value

Review 106:Tree houses are with no window, so better take with you your mosquito net, you will need it! Take their tour to see the Chimaera was 25 TL per person, bit expensive but we guess same in all places.

Review 107:Amazing breakfast and dinner. Really recommended! Good location. Basic accommodation for low budget.

Review 108:washrooms were shared by everybody (which was ok) but they could have been cleaned more often, and toilet paper replaced. At night the pension across the road blasted music (it was very loud in our treehouse). No screens on the treehouses so we were attacked by mosquitoes at night.

Review 109:Very relaxing atmosphere, staff were friendly and helpful and spoke very good English, dolmus from bus station goes right by (convenient), dinner and breakfast were buffet and tasty.

Review 110:No wifi in the room. Shower in the bungalow rooms are hard to use - although to be expected with this type of budget accommodation.

Review 111:Excellent value for money that includes breakfast and a delicious vegetarian dinner buffet with basic lodging facilities. The common area had a large amount of day lounges, good wifi and a table tennis table - perfect setting to chill out.

Review 112:We loved the free evening meals that had such a variety of courses. Free breakfast was very good. Tree house most comfortable, the chill out areas are a great place to relax on such comfortable cushions, lots of shady trees. We stayed an extra day because it was all too easy and such good value.

Review 113:Loved the bungalow- aircon, own bathroom and comfy beds. Originally booked a treehouse but quickly changed when we realised it was even worse than camping- full of Mosquitos that you couldn't shut out etc... No fun! Dinners were delicious!

Review 114:There is nothing I didn't like about Saban.

Review 115:The staff, especially Meril and Ali, go out of their way to make visitors welcome and are willing to make arrangements for travel to near by places and to Kalkan where we stayed next. The food is delicious and well cooked. Meril is a great manager and we hope to return. Many thanks to all the staff at Saban.

Review 116:Great place to stay. Loved the tree-house. Meals were top drawer Staff were really helpful and friendly You won't find better value for money 10 minute walk to the beach

Review 117:This place is a kick back to childhood for adults. Rustic and basic little cabins with clothes lines to hang out your wet bathing suits, a fire pit going at night, buffet style dinners and lunches, a ping pong table, a book shelf filled with cast offs searching for a new home. The breakfast fare is typical Turkish kahvalti but you can also order custom made omelets! The dinner spread of around 6 items is all you can eat and just fantastic home-cooked food. You won't be disappointed. There's a bar and the prices are fair. Across the street they play live music at night so you do not have to walk far if you are searching for entertainment. The isolated beach is a 15 minute walk. No commerce there, just nature. If you prefer to sit on a chaise lounge you can walk down the beach another 15 minutes to the next town and use them there (and have lunch). The ruins are a fun exploration and worth your time. The excursion to see the Chimera is fascinating, but not for the weak knee-d. With companions, it would be a safer climb during the day (even though you lose the 'fire at night' visual).

Review 118:Be sure to bring your earplugs, the neighbors are a bit noisy, and so is the rooster. Also, there are some mosquitoes in the woods.

Review 119:Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food (most of it suitable for vegetarians). Beautiful garden, and the scenery is lovely. I really enjoyed my stay.

Review 120:Saban treehouses was a wonderful place to stay. Merell, Ali, Mum and staff looked after us like we were family and went out of their way to help. Booked for a week and ended staying for two. This is not the Hilton, it is basic, comfortable and clean. A very natural place, surrounded by towering mountains, that the energetic younger generation were climbing. For us, it usually was a stroll to the beach and a rest on one of the 'verandas' in the afternoin. The food was plentiful, amazing and mainly vegetarian. The walk to the beach was 10min stroll through the ruins. No sand, only pebbles - this meant that the water was crysral clear. I would definatly stay at Saban again. It is an beautiful place and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to stay here.

Review 121:Rooms were very basic, hard bed, shower next to toilet so the bathroom was always wet, we stayed for a week and the room wasn't cleaned a single time, pricey on transfer

Review 122:Beautiful grounds, good food, relaxing atmosphere

Review 123:We were told the Chimera was half an hour away, so we walked, notrealising the staff meant half an hour drive away, not walk! Took us 2.5hours to get there so be warned - do not walk to the Chimera!

Review 124:Very comfortable, excellent breakfast and dinner buffet with plenty togo around. Quick access to the beach and ruins.

Review 125:Meral's cooking was simmering for hours ahead of dinner time, and it was amazing! Her hospitality is genuine. The vibe of the place was very relaxed, very welcoming, and just a beautiful natural surrounding. Her own plantings are a beautiful touch. It definitely feels like being welcomed into someone's home, not just being offered a hotel or hostel room.
