Review 1：Had to rekey room key, gave us room mildew smell so switched the chair in the room was filthy, planes crazy loud.

Review 2：The gentleman that checked us in was very nice

Review 3：The room was dirty, the bathroom floor had hairs on it and the whole place smelled funny. There were missing lamp shades, and the breakfast left more to be desired.

Review 8：Even though Welcome Inn is in the landing path of the airport, it was very quiet. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. A good deal for the price.

Review 9：Dirty beyond dirty. Floors stained our feet black. Fecal matter on walls in bathroom. Towels paper thin. Smelled musty. Room key had to be taken to office three times to work. Never ever will return.

Review 12：Beds are comfy and cheap! Best deal for the money that we could find. Right off the highway, which I personally liked. Convenient to getting around the area! Not a wonderful area but I felt safe!

Review 13：Very dirty. It looked as though the sheets were not changed. But I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt on that one. We stayed 5 times previously when it was Best Western. Then it was always clean and that is why we go back to this motel. They also have the old fashion big non flat screen TV's.

Review 16：It was hard to find the place as the sign was not very visible for the street. the ground floor windows had only one roll of curtains so the privacy was hard to have.

Review 17：The tub was nasty and the faucet there was leaking. I wouldn't dare take a shower there. The place is run down. It served its purpose to spend the night there on the road.

Review 19：I got stranded in Charlotte overnight due to maintenance issues with my plane, the airline was paying to put me up for the night. The staff here was excellent--they went above and beyond. In my haste in the morning I forgot my phone charger, and the shuttle driver drove me back to the hotel to get it. The night desk manager was great too. In terms of the property, it's an excellent value for a cheap motel near the airport. A bit old, but clean, we'll maintained, and comfortable.

Review 20：It's not a 5-star hotel but that's not the reason anybody would stay here. TV in our room was very old (not flat screen). Carpet looked to be from the 70's or 80's. Everything in the room was dated but still functional. Soap but no shampoo.

Review 21：Very affordable room, great rates. Close to CLT airport. Provided long term parking (3.00/day) in a reserved parking area with excellent shuttle service to and from airport. Breakfast was minimal but good. Front desk person (male) who checked me in that night was outstanding. Room was relatively clean.

Review 22：They only provided two towels for a family of four. We called the front desk to ask for additional towels and they never came. We ended up sharing towels...it was very run down. The front desk was made out of a cardboard box. Half of the stuff said welcome inn and the other half said comfort inn. When I asked why the employee said that comfort inn wanted $97,000 for the name so they changed it to welcome inn.

Review 32：Wow, was this misrepresented on your website. It was booked as a Days Inn, but when we arrived it was a Wecome Inn. It was so disgusting, dirty, I would not put my children in the rooms. Will not use booking.com again.

Review 35：It was not affiliated with Days Inn and that's where the problem began. Getting a shuttle from the airport was difficult because the shuttle we were looking for did not have the "Days Inn" name on it. When we called to inquire at the motel - the person who was suppose to help spoke very marginal English and was darn near impossible to understand. I would not have stayed here if I knew this place was independent and no longer affiliated with Days Inn.

Review 39：Everything, it was so loud, no sound proof in this place. We heard the freeway as if it was in our room. The planes from the airport were also flying over us. A bug jumped on my arm while I was lying in the bed. Lock on outside door was broken. No plug for tub(mixed blessing) so I could not take a bath. We checked in at 9p and out at 11p same night. We could not get out of there fast enough. No refund was given, poor customer service. They tried to give us another room but we had seen enough. It was not safe or clean. Next time I will spend a little more $ and get more. You can't put a price on safety. It was a disappointment and waste of money.

Review 41：My husband and I and our young 9 month old daughter stayed at the Days Inn on February 14th while passing through town. although we enjoyed the proximity to downtown (about 15 minutes) in the $70 a nice price point we certainly did not enjoy the fact is that pretty much everything was broken.instead of writing a lengthy essay, broken/dirty items were as follows: -leaky shower (not dip dropping but steady streaming all night) -some outlet did not work -the room smelled like marijuana(non smoking room) -cigarette burns on the comforter -random sludge and slime on the walls - dirty bathtub - hair weave and toothpicks on the floor - and I happen to call the receptionist to ask you could deliver to the hotel and her response was "I have no idea"

I should have paid for a better room in a pricier hotel, but Days Inn where I been to wasn't bad after this no more Days Inn.

Review 51：I was really upset to learn they billed my first night to my saved card info on booking.com. That was supposed to be for reservation purposes ONLY. I was going to use a different card. This kind of pissed me. I shouldn't have been charged anything until i checked in or at least was a no-show at 1159 PM. The place Smelled of incense or something as if they were masking a mildew problem. the inside of the room proved that as the kick boards were bowing off the wall and looked rotted. I shouldn't have had to pull the bedd from the to find the outlet to plug in the lighting. Luckily i was only there for 2 nights so it was tolerable. Also i passed the place looking for it. It sets behind a group of trees and the sign is so old and run down looking i didn't see it. This is probably a franchise and not corporate but corporate might want to step in and help these folks or they will be out of business soon. or they might want to call gordon ramsey ad let hotel hell straigten them out!

Review 52：The outside was pretty well kept up. Hardee's was right across the street. Access to I85 was great. Not too much traffic so getting in and out was not an issue.

Review 53：The room smelled once the a/c was turned on it wasn't as noticeable. We asked for a wake up call at 5 am and never got one. Glad I am an early riser. Would not use this hotel again no matter how cheap the price.

Review 60：The pool was out of service. The exterior was fifty. There was no concern for customer service. The room was marginally clean. The wi-fi connection in my room did not work. I was told it was being worked on, but it was not fixed during my stay.

Review 66：My 'non-smoking' room reeked of smoke, the towels were thin and scratchy, the soap was tiny, the bathroom mat and floor seemed dirty (I actually put a towel in the tub to stand on while I showered), and my sheet and pillow case had hair on them. The staff was apologetic and came quickly with clean sheets and changed my bed. The shuttle smelled strongly of smoke and I didn't enjoy the rap music the driver had on.

Review 68：First of all they have an old system to check in they need to scan and make copies of your ID. Which i don't understand i have stayed in very nice hotels and have never needed to have photo copies made of my licence. Second of all i was charged more than the booking now reservation, the man at the desk was rude and sarcastic.The hotel's pool was out... There was no breakfast in the morning. The worst part was the rooms, they had a bad oder, the bathroom was disgusting the wifi was not working. The soaps in the rooms had red labels with the human trafficing hotline. So yes expect to run into prostitues!
