Reviews for The INN at St. George

Review 1:They charged 25$ for a pet and the place could't even provide a pet station. Beds are old and uncomfortable with plastic protective covers that make a lot of noise overtime you move. No hairdryer not enough outlets. Place needs total renovation

Review 2:Nothing

Review 3:Leaving

Review 4:They were very accommodating, and we really liked the waffle station breakfast. Also the location is excelent, walking distance to sites likeep Brigham Young winter house as well as several great restaurants (painted pony next door, and 25 main around the corner).

Review 5:Had some issues with our room not being cleaned upon arrival and it could have been sorted in a better manner as the man dealing with us said we would be in a room for two nights of our stay then have to move rooms for our last two nights . I sorted it with the manager in the morning but we had just been driving for 6 hours arrived late , room wasn't cleaned then be told something like that wasn't too impressed

Review 6:Location was great , free breakfast , room was good .

Review 7:Room was a bit dark and dingy. Chilly, nonchalant reception from check-in staff.

Review 8:Perfect location in the center of town, reasonably priced, ice cold a/c

Review 9:Mattress was very uncomfortable. It felt like it was an air mattress.

Review 10:The staff was very nice and accommodating. I was there for the St. George Marathon and they started breakfast early the morning of the race for the runners. I also left my glasses in the hotel and they mailed them to me.

Review 11:They had a pool which worked longer just for us,that was nice after long trip. Breakfast was really good, fruits, coffee, yogurt, waffles - nice way to tart day.

Review 12:It is located on a main street and there was lots of street noise when I wanted to sleep in... The property is in worse shape than when I was there two years ago...

Review 13:The staff was very pleasant!

Review 14:Beds definitely need to be updated. Not the best sleep. Bathrooms were super small. The room itself was sizely so that was nice for our child to roam free inside. Dusty drawer tops, and the lamp almost fell apart.

Review 15:Friendly staff and knowledgeable about restaurants near by.

Review 16:As seniors......it is very very expensive for us to pay $25. a night for our little dog. Any way you can adjust rate for dogs who belong to seniors ???

Review 17:Great location. Very nice and friendly staff.

Review 18:King size bed was decent, but an upgraded mattress would have made the room exponentially better!

Review 19:Staff was very friendly! Room was much nicer than expected for an economy facility.

Review 20:It would have been nice if there had been a shadow place beside the pool.

Review 21:Room was ready upon arrival, nice time at the pool. Breakfast was good. Friendliness of the staff.

Review 22:The worst Thing was that even after complaining about cleanliness, it wasn't better. Had Roaches in the Room The Room for breakfast was a mess!

Review 23:Pool Close to different Restaurants

Review 24:No plug in for computer, table was set by window with no plug ins. I had to plug in by the microwave across the room. Switch for lights in closet at the front door clear across the room.

Review 25:Nothing other than the wifi signal was strong and fast.

Review 26:We arrived at the hotel around 11, there was no one in the office and so we had to wait to check in for 15 minutes. When some one finally did show up, he was a mess and was bare foot. He was rude and unapologetic for the wait. We finally got into our room, where we noticed it hadn't been cleaned, the sheets had stains on them, and the shower had hair in it. Timothy, the night clerk said the only option we have is to leave and come back to talk to the manager in the morning. He said there are no other rooms, and no one to clean or change the sheets. He again, was unapologetic and when we asked to contact the manager he began cursing and calling us names. We've stayed at this hotel once before, and they had construction on the roof above our room at 6am. They have no concern or care for their customers comfort. I don't recommended staying here, you'd be better off staying at a dive motel. At least you get what you pay for there.

Review 27:Shower head very awkward for short people plus shower drain extremely slow causing ankle deep water to backup

Review 28:Comfortable and clean, enjoyed the breakfast

Review 29:The Manager was there and it was obvious that he was knowledgeable and friendly. He was always working to please us. The place was clean...very clean. Veronica took care of our room and it was obvious that she was a professional. The location was convenient to everything. We walked to most places, but when we went to Tuacahn or the restaurants, it was just a short trip from the Inn. Additionally, the Flea market was next door on Saturday, so we enjoyed that as well.

Review 30:Older room, poor a/c unit. Pool was not heated. Freezing cold. Strange, because it was in the upper 90's when we were there. Security lock on door busted. I guess you get what you pay for.

Review 31:Location and comfortable beds. Good size fridge and microwave. Near good family restaurants.

Review 32:laundry area close to 3 rooms - too much noice in these in case someone does the washing late at night.

Review 33:The most positive experience in the month of travelling in the US with staff - very friendly, no problem with any request, always smiling. Congratulations. Standard rooms.

Review 34:The room was very clean and had good amenities for the price. But the beds were very uncomfortable and squeaky. The shower head was too low and we aren't very tall.

Review 35:Filthy carpet, kids drinking and being rowdy on the first night of our stay, older kids on the balcony were actually spitting and spraying something over the balcony from the second floor into the pool which was below. While bringing in our luggage we saw a girl laying on the sidewalk and her friend was urging her to get up, it was clear she either had too much to drink, or worse, had taken something "recreational". Second night all the "kids" were gone and it was much more pleasant but I would not allow my daughter to use the pool after what I witnessed the previous evening. I know the motel staff are not sitters, but there should have been someone on the staff there and aware what was going on in plain view of other customers. The place could really use a deep cleaning. I could feel the springs in my mattress.

Review 36:Old travelodge, this place needs remodeled badly. Carpet was filthy, rooms are dated, staff was great, rooms were clean, towels left a bit to be desired, overall a pleasant stay, if you want better, pay more and stay elsewhere, this was a good value for the price.

Review 37:Room needs major renovations. We did not get maid service...they apologized but think we should have been offered a discount. Overpriced for what you get!

Review 38:Location...able to walk to a lot of tourist attractions and restaurants

Review 39:The refrigerator was not working, had to unplug to stop noise. Shower head in shower was not flexible, was too high and could not be adjusted. Room was dark, only window was privacy glass. Bed was not very comfortable. Facilities were very outdated.

Review 40:Room was clean. Free WIFI.

Review 41:dreadful bed. night clerk was surly - but owner seemed to be there in the morning and he was friendly and kind.

Review 42:location. also think this place has potential to be a good, affordable stay. just need to be more careful with hires.

Review 43:2 things that was a little frustrating were the Wifi. It would run veryslow and it kicked me off several times. The other thing is the bed. Itwas very firm, and the thing that bothered me the most was the plasticcovering over the mattress. I felt like I was laying in a bed forsomeone who wets the bed. Every movement was the crunch of the plastic.

Review 44:I liked the set up of the room. It was almost as if I was staying at aBnB. Nice flat screen tv, and all the channels came in clear. Thelocation is smack dead in the middle of town. Ancestor square next door. The staff that helped me when I checked in was very nice and friendly.

Review 45:We was very sad the swimming pool was not working... Hopefully next time. The fridge was very loud, I had to turn in off.

Review 46:Breakfast was good, easy to make and take.

Review 47:It's very old. Old carpet, old tile with dirty grout. Had one very thin blanket which I thought was odd because this is February! Needs updating for sure

Review 48:The location was good. Having free Wi-Fi was appreciated. Friendly staff

Review 49:The only problem we had were the electronic keys. We had to have them re-coded for our room everyday.

Review 50:My wife and I enjoyed are stay there. The service was great and very helpful. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with giving us ideas on what to do.

Review 51:Location can't be beat. Right next to Ancestor Square. The Historic Stroll map and guide provided at the office was AWESOME and the hotel is right on the tour route. Nice family activity. I have been to St. George for years and have never seen that particular map or self-guided tour and we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was ample and decent food.

Review 52:Sheets were not changed. Room was average at best. Breakfast was below average and the room to eat breakfast was the lobby. Very small.

Review 53:The staff were very friendly and helpful.Good location.

Review 54:Shower was to small and shower head was stable and not adjustable; therefore you could not reach some areas of the body! In addition the water would go from hot to cold while bathing! Not enough parking for all guests!

Review 55:Staff was friendly and on the ball! Rooms were very clean! Staff and maids were all very efficient! Great stay!

Review 56:Bed frame gave us all bruises on our legs. Cute style but painful! I was also expecting a bathtub, not just a shower.

Review 57:Wonderful and accommodating staff. Clean and cozy. Nicely decorated. Pool felt great.

Review 58:The non heated pool was refreshing but a bit like swimming in a mountain stream. Brrrrr

Review 59:Came to support a marathon participant. We were close to everything!

Review 60:The breakfast is basic and so is the "kitchen" area.

Review 61:The staff is very hospitable, the room is comfortable, not fancy but certainly worth the price paid.

Review 62:room size was a bit small.

Review 63:The location to the historic district is perfect, within walking distance to everything. Rooms are very generic, nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable.

Review 64:Had to move rooms because A/C wasn't working. A problem the hotel knew about. Curtain rod was broken, beds where noisy and too soft. Furniture was old.

Review 65:Room was big. Had a fridge and microwave. Price was good. A bit high for what it was though.

Review 66:I didn't like the mattress. It was not comfortable at all and it felt like springs were in your back at night. The ice machine was also not the best. It struggled to pour out ice at all. The continental breakfast had waffles which was good but nothing else really.

Review 67:I really liked the location of this hotel. It is right in down town and you could walk places really easily. The hotel itself was clean and had a large bathroom. The staff was really nice and helpful as well.

Review 68:We could hear the upstairs guest walking around at night. A/C was a bit loud.

Review 69:Easy access to I-15. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. If we come back through St George we will be staying here for sure. An over all value.

Review 70:The mattresses were broken down, with the springs poking through. The room was not well cleaned. The A/C was extremely loud making it difficult to sleep. Uneven walkways were a trip hazard.

Review 71:The TVs are really small (flat screens in bulk are 2-300$ Each for 60inch TVs nowadays)

Review 72:The staff was great!

Review 73:Had to leave after 3 nights, but had to pay for all 4. The dirty towels were never picked up. Breakfast was not good, awful coffee!

Review 74:The price

Review 75:we found a cockroach under the bed

Review 76:it was close to everything

Review 77:If you are in a 1st floor room the noise from the rooms above is uncommonly loud. Sounds like people upstairs are going to fall through the ceiling!

Review 78:There was dirty socks in the bathroom

Review 79:Convient location

Review 80:The beds were a little too hard for my taste

Review 81:The rate was very good

Review 92:Poor parking accomodations

Review 93:There were restaurants within walking distance.

Review 94:tiny room

Review 95:Close to ancestor's square.

Review 96:Very friendly stuff. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Review 97:Breakfast was a surprise in a good way.
