Review 1：This place wasn't clean, rooms in total disrepair, chipped paint, exposed wires, bathroom was dirty including urine on the toilet seat and hair in the tub and sink, towels were not clean, very small and raggedy.

Review 6：You absolutely cannot beat the price for the location. Full sized fridge in the suite, flat screen TV, and the absolute nicest people that work there. If you are a Kaiser patient from out of town this is the place to stay. The suite even has a jacuzzi tub.

Review 8：Amy was WONDERFUL!! she accidentally gave me a single bed room and I reserved two beds, and it took her two minutes to move me to the correct room...she was just so very nice and made the stay even better!! I will definitely stay here again!!
Review 9：I had a truly lovely stay at the Westwind Lodge. The staff was nice and the room was comfortable with plenty of amenities (I had just been staying at a fussy Hyatt for work, paid for by my employer, and actually preferred the Westwind, which had everything I needed - and it was nice to have a small fridge and microwave on the premises). I also enjoyed the proximity to the Piedmont neighborhood, which I was already familiar with.
Review 10：We stayed in Rm 106. The bathroom floor is very cold. An additional rug would be nice. The shower curtain is hung too high and on a curved rod. That makes it hard to keep the floor dry. The top support of the chest is loose and needs repair. Lighting is poor. Room needs some lamps and better fixtures on the wall. There is no comfortable chair in the room because it is filled with beds. Bedspreads are too dark for California.
Review 11：The clerk was very pleasant and efficient. When the room heating unit went out, it was fixed before we returned. It was very quiet for a city location. The dark curtains kept out light for sleeping, but needed to be hemmed. Security gates were locked at night for the stairways.

Review 24：The "Trailer Park Trash" people who live there. For the type of accommodation, it is very expensive. 7 nights cost close to $700 . No elevator so you have to lug your luggage up steep stairs. I was so scared to sleep on the bed- bed bugs/camper bed. Not sure if the linen was Ok because I slept on top of the linen on a towel The noise from the locals - you can hear everything through paper thin walls I had to sleep in my car the one night because the man above me played his music so loud even though he had been asked to turn it down. he had his radio on the floor, and when I asked him to turn it down, he stumbled across the room as if he was drunk When I told the manager I was leaving he tried to get me to change my mind by wanting to show me another room. You must be joking. This is a hole I would not recommend to my enemy. I feel sorry for the owner but if you want to have people stay at your facility and have it respectable, then maybe you should evaluate your clientele who live there. Could not wait to pull out and stay at the La Quinta even if just for 1 night

Review 26：We stay in hotels a lot and when you get a good deal it often means paying n other ways. This is a family owned business and they were very friendly and accommodating- even though we checked in late and our room keys originally didn't work. I would definitely recommend this place.

Review 68：We feel we got full value for our money. There was a little construction work going on during our stay, but that only shows how conscientious the owners are about running the best motel they can.

The husband actually drove us around in his vehicle to show us nearby places to eat and shop, and they even let us use their printer when we had documents we needed printed! We will definitely return to the Westwind Lodge!
