Review 3：Downstairs was the logical choice, but make no mistake there is little insulation, so sound travels. Upstairs occupants didn't come alive until after 10pm both nights. To do over again, I'd brave the stairs for an upper floor room. Large item left in room was not turned in to lost & found :(

Review 4：Clean & well kept! Updated decor. Gentleman at check in was very helpful and courteous. We were out of our home for termite tenting...very stressful. Was happy to have a clean pet friendly place and a nice smile to arrive to. Thank you! Dining area was great w/mini fridge & microwave. Spacious room.

Review 5：We found one of the staff members to be rude - he was very blunt with severely lacking customer service skills. For example; "hi there, the internet doesn't seem to be working..." To which he replied, "well it works fine for me." We also ordered a package to be delivered and I had to tell him to look - he just said no he didn't "think" it had been delivered. Stupid things like that.

Review 6：The hotel was clean and the room came with a fridge and microwave. stater Bros is a 5 minute walk which is brilliant - turn left out of the hotel and keep going - the grocery store (Stater Bros) will be in front of you as you cross the road. Public transport is an issue, but close by. If you want to get to Huntington Beach, you have to get 2 busses. Long Beach, 3, Balboa, 1, but there is a LONG wait between each one. Best off with a car. Nice enough area. Some staff members are helpful. Washers and dryers available but generally get your change elsewhere as one staff member doesn't like giving you change. Vending machines available, pool okay. Cleaning staff nice.

Review 11：AC is leaking No Ironing machine, I asked for one and they didn't have any available. A day after I asked again and they handed me one without a board. AC is leaking. No shampoos or Conditioner. After cleaning the room they did not put new towels or soap!!

Review 25：I book through you guys always and the last two times I booked two queens and ended up with a king bed one time and queen the other. The manager was kind enough to upgrade to a king without additional charge because I am a regular customer. Upset that your website shows two beds for a double but means double occupancy not double queens,last two months I don't get what I book. Yet I stay the same place with the same bookings???

I checked in with mac the manager at motel.. he was awesome to accommodate my family to two bed - room at last minute with little price difference. I appreciate him working it out for us at last minute and during their busy season. Thanks mac the manager!! beds were comfortable and room was spacious and clean.. plus close proximity to gas stations,quick eats, liqueur stores etc..

The room was clean and very roomy and updated. The price of the room was very reasonable. When you're in Newport Beach we will stay there again.

Review 44：What I disliked is the taste of the coffee and noise made by some guests even at night. The hotel should have switches for the plug points particularly the fridge so that one can save electricity if not using them.

Review 45：The good part is that staffs were really cooperating and helpful. The location is quite good. WiFi was very fast and available without any disruption. Quite a range of channels were available on the TV. The pool and spa was nice too.

This time however I was greeted at check in with "Sit over there I'll get to you in a couple of mintues" It seems it was shift change even though i was there after the 2pm check in time. I was assigned a room which I went to and it hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk and they said "I'll change room for you" So I dragged all my luggage from the back of the motel to the front office was reassigned a very nice room. Went to take a shower after a long day and there was no hot water. At checkout I mentioned this to the front desk person he shrugged and said " I will let the mgr know"...no apology I mentioned I felt I should get a discount on the room since I couldnt shower he said " Ill tell manager" Not sure if they had a owner change or what but I probably wont stay there again which is a shame as I generally stay there approx 4 times per year.

Review 55：When I first tried to check in the staff was absolutely rude, the room was book for business and paid by a business card that we did not have with us, so the staff refused to give us our room. Then made both of us have to give them our IDs when the room was booked only under my name and the other party wouldn't arrive for a few hours. I had to wait outside in the cold for 2 hours for the other guest to arrive before they let us check in. Then they made a huge deal because the business credit card did not say either one of our names on it, it's a business credit card it doesn't have anyone's Name on it come on! Then they proceeded to harass us even more about why we there? Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Unless you intend to not deal with the staff at all.

Review 65：The evening guy in the office was almost rude. We asked for a couple extra pillows (we only got 2 flat ones) and without explanation, told us we could only have 1. He was very straight faced and to the point. Not very hospitable. The room was ok, but the bright orange background doesn't really scream comfort when you first walk in. The blankets were light for my liking. Everything was fairly clean, but some remodeling and new towels (and pillows) would make a world of difference in this place.

There were some very noisy people staying there that woke me up coming in loudly in the early morning and some kids running up and down the hall talking and giggling. To be "green" according to their notice, I hung my towels up every day. They were still changed every day, anyway. Nice, but annoying.

Review 87：It was within 10 minutes drive to Sur La Table in Newport Beach where I was taking cooking classes. There's an excellent Moroccan restaurant, Marrakesh, just down the street from the motel. It's an easy drive to Fashion Island Mall and Balboa Island to shop, sight-see, eat.

Review 97：The motel is located in an unfriendly neighborhood and the guests here are not the type of people you want to be sleeping next to. Brought a friend to our room with us one night and received a call from the manager at 2am screaming at us saying he was going to call the cops on us and kick us off his property because he had us walking into our room with an extra guest on camera. Needless to say we checked out the next morning. I wouldn't recomend this hotel to ANYONE.

Review 102：went on a trip to California from AZ so I reserved a hotel online. I was a little worried about what I'd find when I got there But I was impressed. The room was cleaN And spacious . We had a microwave and a fridge. A flat screen TV. Wi-Fi. I had my husband and 2 small children with me and it was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable and clean . The wood floors were definitely a better idea than carpet. We stayed up stairs in the very back. Room 328 . The elevator was very accessible from there, it took us straight to the parking garage, where we parked. We were even able to do laundry before we left in the laundry room on the property. Overall this was a very nice motel 6 I would definitely stay there again.

Review 106：The managers kept turning away customers wanting to stay a 2nd night- saying they were sold out. So I made a reservation with booking.Com- they denied me to stay there ever again.??? I've been staying here for years? I don't know why? My friend and I were alseep by 8pm and slept all the way until 10am. Discriminated against me the 2nd night

Review 108：The overall standard is very basic. The refrigerator was not clean. Please wash the pillows and use bigger pillow cases, that can be closed. A couple of nights, the AC from the neighbours was very noisy.
