Review 1：TV REMOTE NEEDED BATTERIES UNDER GROUND PARKING VERY POOR LIGHTING WITH NO SECURITY CAMERAS VERY SCARY ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS

Review 3：WI-FI connection was frustrating. Difficult to sign onto, (took several tries) then multiple disconnects during my stay. This should be an easy fix if they just focus on it.

Review 5：They have only two prong outlets. For 3-6 dollars they could haveadapters for the very many people who need a 3 to 2 adapter. When Iasked for one they forgot, then said no , then sent me to a closed outof business location for Radio Shack to get one.I would not stay there again.

Review 23：They have a great breakfast included, but they won't let you take it to your room to eat it. When I questioned staff about this, they said it would be too hard to keep track of dishes and too much hassle. Not everyone wants to have to get dressed and eat breakfast at a designated restaurant when on vacation. Since they have daily maid service, I don't see why the maids can't just pick up dirty dishes when they pick up dirty towels so guests can take breakfast to their room if they want.

Review 24：Front desk clerk that checked us in was for lack of a better word up-tight. Lights were on but no one was home. I walked up to the counter and felt as if I was bothering him. At check out we had the same clerk, same vibe in the morning. All other staff seemed to duck and hide when a guest was nearby. Not the friendliest of staff.

The hotel is very reasonably priced for the location and you end up getting a better service than a lot of the other more pricey hotels in Newport. I've tried many others in the area before finding this Best Western and am confident that this is the only place I'll ever stay in Newport Beach! The breakfast is great, they gave us a free room upgrade, there is free and ample parking, the wifi works very well (good enough to stream Netflix, for example). The hotel is also very quiet and conveniently located in Newport beach. The rooms are well furnished. I can't rave enough about this great hotel!
