Review 1：The noise of the locomotives ALL night was not conducive to sleep. We arrived right on end of breakfast time and my daughter was initially refused an omelet about 2-3 minutes late! But the staff had a second thought and were then most helpful :)

Review 4：Booking.com needs a deconflicting function on their website in order to insure customers are aware if they accidentally booked at two different locations on the same night. I made multiple reservations on Booking.com for a trip from the Southwest to the Midwest. I made an oversight in which I paid for two hotels on same night in two different states.

Review 5：I didn't Like the fact that I was charged twice for 1 night. CC Details given on booking.com staff couldn't find my booking so charged me on my other card only to return home to find I'd been charged twice

Review 6：Friendly staff. We were travelling Route 66 so ideal stopover. Good that you can park your car right outside the room. Recommended diner within walking distance.

Review 7：I especially liked the history of Rail Haven show in pictures on the walls of our room. It was fun to see the 1950's cars and also the old phone booths. I'm sure I must have driven by there years and years ago when the road was still Route 66.

Review 13：Parking was very small. There was a large extended truck parked in front of their room that blocked the way through for others. Our room was as well. We had friends staying there that had two beds in their room and had more space. Pay attention to the size of the room while making a selection.

Review 20：Our stay was ruined by the guest in the next room who was outside "partying" with a group of local male youths until 4am. In the end someone dialled 911 because the police arrived!.. To be fair to the staff when we raised our complaint, they apologised and immediately refunded the full cost of our stay. I've since also had an apology email from management. So would I stay again - yes. Would I recommend -yes.

Review 26：The room was very small compared to a most motel rooms I stay in. I felt like I was tripping over myself with just my few bags in the room. Also the toilet didn't work in my room. I got in late and their wasn't time to address it with the staff until the next day which made for an unpleasant stay.

Review 27：I liked that one-story old time feel of the place and that you got to park right outside of your room and didn't have to haul all your stuff up elevators and flights of stairs.

Review 28：The beds were small and the heat was at face level of the bed, so I was blasted in the face with heat. The tub was very large, but when adjusting the water temp for the shower, you either got burned or you froze as there was no middle ground. The toilet was located less than 6 inches from the tub.

Review 32：Fussy and loud AC/Heater, couldn't get the room to be a good temp during our one night stay. Walls thin enough to hear the neighbor watching TV but they turned it down before too long. Hot food items at breakfast were not appealing or tasty at the tail end of breakfast when we got there but I assume they were better fresh.

Review 33：Room was good size, hot shower, and good TV channels. Check in/out was fast and painless. Lots of restruants nearby. Convenient for our purposes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Mostly good breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits, toast, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, and cold cereals.

Review 34：The refrigerator in our room was very loud. We had the staff unplug it for the second night. It took a bit to figure out the heating system, but once we did it worked well.

The rooms are dotted around the lobby and look like your own little house, with parking out front. The room itself was lovely, stuck with the 60s theme but was beautifully clean and quaint. The staff were friendly throughout abnd the breakfast was great. Location was great for us as was the price. Generally a fantastic hotel and I would throughly recommend it.

Close to Springfield airport and easy to navigate to. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out was achieved with a minimum of fuss and was relatively painless.

Review 115：The toilet in our bathroom was tippy...obviously needed to be fixed. Myhusband is a carpenter and he noticed it right away. It wasn't aproblem for us. I told the front desk about it when I checked out and Iknow they took care of it right away. Just those kind of folks...get itright and quick. Appreciate their concern.

Review 117：Business travelers should not count on the free WiFi service working properly; it was difficult to access and would lose connection within 2-3 minutes of accessing. Plumbing is old so the water pressure varies depending upon who else in the building is using water… shower would go from hot to cold and back to hot. Heater/AC was an older unit with a musty smell and extremely loud! Definitely overpriced for what I got.
