Review 1：It was announced that Wifi is free...after asking twice times at the reception desk, that the Internet connection didn't work, we don't got any help....this is very unprofesional, because coming as a tourist it is very important to contact any familiars at home. The second wrong attitude of the receptions staff is that by checking out we ask to call a cab for us and they show us a business card to call ourselves. As a hotel they must provide a free local call or call for us and not let us call for the cab without an American phone! Very uncomfortable

Review 2：The location is a little sketchy, but there is no reason to walk around outside the motel anyway, we just took a short Uber/cab to dinner in Alameda

Review 4：The staff had an unfriendly mood. This isn't nessisarly the hotels fault, but when we woke in the morning garbage was littered throughout the parking lot.

Review 5：I like how close to the oracle arena. Although the area is was mainly an industrial cold location, I felt safe in the hotel and parking lot. They had cameras and a gate to insure safety.

Review 6：There was only one set of bath towels and the front desk lady was very rude to my husband when he went to ask for a second set. There was also a huge spider on the wall that we killed, made me paranoid all night as we were traveling with an infant.

Review 8：The front desk was very rude and unprofessional and just wanted to take our money.We made a reservation and then tried to cancel it,but they still charge us for one night.Very unfair and they don't care about how customers feel and they just want our money.The room was ok,but very small and did not include a phone inside the room.Very disappointed with no amenities in the the motel room,especially for the expensive price you pay!Stay away from this place because it is a rip off.It is near a shady and dangerous location that is off of the freeway and noisy at night with the train going by.I would have not booked this room,but unfortunately we were locked in and had to pay because the owners are greedy.I was very uncomfortable when I pulled up to the motel because it was located near several junk yards off the freeway and down a street with no lights.I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone because you can find a better place elsewhere that treats you fairly and warmly,instead of just taking your money.The front desk lady didn't ever smile when we checked in!

Review 10：Hotel staff called me at 5pm to let me know I had until 6pm to checkin or my room would be cancelled. He said my credit card wasdeclined. I offered to give him as different card number as long asmy card wouldn't be charged as I wanted to pay cash for my room.He declined. I needed to contact booking.com again in order not tolose my room.

Review 25：When I booked the room 4 months ago I used my debit card. Since then mycard had expire and I called them to update my credit card info so theycan hold the room for me. The woman who answered the phone knew nothingabout her job. She kept on asking me what country I was coming from andthat I had to email my credit card info to them for them to update it.Which was crazy and unheard of to begin with. She finally got hermanager (which I think was her husband) and he finally understood what Iwas trying to do and finally updated my info. If you're going toanswer the phone for customers, please learn how to do your job.

Review 26：We just needed a place for one night that was close to the airport inOakland. This was hotel was very cheap and it was in a perfect locationfor us. The room was smaller than what I thought but everything wasclean and acceptable.

Review 27：I found out in the middle of the night when I had to go to the bathroom, and I was already in the bathroom sitting down, that there was only a half roll of toilet paper and no more in the room, anywhere. My husband and I only had 2 towels and 1 wash cloth to use. There was only 1 sheet and the bedspread on the bed, no blanket. We arrived at the hotel around 11PM tired.

Review 45：I really have bad experience .staff is bad they dont know how to treat and talk with people.they dont even litsen properly .they dont clean your room me n my brother are there for 10 days they dont clean floor or carpets they dont even change bed sheets and when we said we need our room clean they said we dont change sheets regularly/wash .we went for laundry room we saw earth warm on floor its so mess .such a bad experience if we complain about it they just avoid that the things they show on internet while booking they dont provide .i paid full on my first day after that they dont care whats going on with u .i want to stay more but because of their service/staff/behaviour i just pack up my bag and left that place.very very very bad service bad experience not gonna come back not gonna suggest to anyone to stay there..

Review 47：We came to there after long day driving, we waited at the cashier about 20' keep ringing the bell but no one showed up. Keep waiting for another 10' then the Indian lady came ( I think shes the onwner) , she was talking with someone, she saw us and keep talking to the guy without say anything like welcome or " please give me a min". The environment is so bad, there were two men stay in front the door like gangsters:/ We decided to cancel and try to look for another hotel. We called that lady again, then she showed up, I said I wanna cancel the hotel, she was eating something in her mouth and tell me to give her my Id , I said I wanna cancel again, she told me stop talking and give her my ID :/ She said If we cancel she will charge us for one night with tax. Bad experience, ghetto place. Dont stay!

Review 49：It is minutes from where I work there. Also Alameda Island nearby has a nice Main St.(Park St, actually). The showers have been upgraded recently, as of April 2015.

Review 87：There was smoke in our non-smoking room. Right as we walked into the room and smelled the smoke, we walked right out to the front desk. The guy working there (we were there pretty late at around 10pm or so though) is often times missing, not sure where he goes off to (cleaning / helping other guests? No idea). But there was someone ahead of us, and he was actually complaining about smoke in his room too! So I guess its a common thing here where people smoke in the rooms. We weren't able to switch our rooms though since he said that there were no more rooms available.. but he did offer to spray it down with some febreze/axe. It honestly did help a lot, but you just can't get rid of smoke that easily. We left the window open and fan running to try to air it all out. There was hair on the shower wall, and the area is a bit sketchy. But honestly, its just the smoke that's the dealbreaker here. I just can't recommend this just because of that, even though the staff member really did seem genuine. I think its just unfortunate the wrong crowd of people stay in this hotel and smoke in the rooms.

One of the worst things is that they charged me 20 dollars more for 3 days as it was supposed to be. Tv had very few channels and wifi was lazy as well.

Review 113：The staff here are unfriendly and not accommodating . If you stay over expect inflated/unpredictable rates. If you stay more than 2 nights expect no room service. If you want to use Wifi expect to do it in the staircase because you may not receive signal from your room.

Review 114：No room service. We stayed there for five nights & not once did they go in to make the bed or clean. They just gave us extra towels, that's all. It's cheap, but you can find something else with better quality.

Review 115：Day staff was very rude. Only some of the TV channels worked. The maid service only folded the sheets I slept on rather than changing the bedding. The microwave and fridge were dirty. The Wi-Fi cut out regularly. Furniture was dirty. Air conditioning had a weird smell.

The location is right in the middle of the ghetto (Fruitvale) and it is not close to any public transportation. The WiFi is TERRIBLE!!!! I would recommend kicking up a few more dollars and staying somewhere else, unless you literally just need somewhere inexpensive to sleep but don't need the conveniences (wifi, fairly strong English speaking staff, etc.) we take for granted. Remember this, it's a great price but you get what you pay for!

This place literally has a make - shift closet over the microwave!!! When checking out from this place, I stood at the front desk for 10 minutes waiting for someone to show up. They never did!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS MOTEL!!!! IT'S A JOKE!!!!
