Review 1：Great location close to LEGOLAND, Room was clean, bed comfy and staff friendly. A basic hotel which suited my needs. I was on vacation with my son and his family who were staying at the LEGOLAND Resort. I did not stay for the included breakfast but I had a coffee maker in the room that worked well.
Review 2：Could have been cleaner. knobs, handles, etc were greasy and slimy. Wiped them down myself with cleaning wipe.
Review 3：Location and next to lake. Boat dock nice as we had access to getting on/off our boat. Nice size room with kitchen.
Review 4：The day before we travelled we were offered an upgrade for £56 for r 2 night stay which we took. The first room they put us in you won't put a dog in. We were set to leave even though we paid it was that bad. I went to complain and they put us in a much better room, it appear some have been modernised and some have not

Review 6：We had to walk through a dirty, dilapidated outdoor hallway to get to our room. The lights in the bedroom were not working. We had to get a new remote control for the TV. There were ants in the bathroom and on the desk. The closet was dirty. I would not let the children walk without their shoes. We did not eat the breakfast as there was very little offered. If we had not paid in advance, we would not have slept there. Very disappointing.

Review 8：I did not like the hard beds and pillows. I woke up with a stiff neck each morning. I did not like that there were tiny ant looking bugs crawling up the walls of the bathroom and bedroom nightstand. We had to buy spray to try to contain them. And I did not like that the owners wanted to charge an extra $50 to allow my nephew to use the boat ramp. He instead, drove over to the free launching pad to put his boat in. I brought my sister, who is fighting ovarian cancer, down from NY to visit my brother who is also fighting cancer. The purpose of the trip was so that our Florida family could all get together and have some fun on the water and a lakeside picnic. We were not happy that the owners wanted to charge extra to use the boat ramp but we avoided that by using the public ramp. In spite of the other issues, we had a great time and we cleaned up after ourselves after the picnic.
Review 9：I liked the view of the lake. It was peaceful and serene. I also like the fact that because Bookings.com had the wrong prices listed, the owner still gave me a discounted rate compared to actual rates but felt like since I booked through Booking.com that the prices quoted should have been honored. The breakfast was acceptable but nothing to brag about. Full breakfast was only offered on the weekend and only pastries during the week.

So glad it was and went with Lake Roy! Charming little place on a little lake and added a nice atmosphere. Place was clean and the kids enjoyed the pool.

Review 42：I love Lake Roys. This is the second time I stayed there for a trip to Legoland. There's not a whole lot of hotels in the immediate area and for the price definitely think this one is the best. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I go to Legoland. It almost feels like a home or condo. I slept wonderful both times! If you get a room down stairs you have your own private screened porch; I loved that. This time I was upstairs and you share a porch with a couple of other people. That's nice if you're someone who wants to interact with other guests. The owners are super friendly and although it's not a five star hotel you can tell that they're trying to do upgrades and make it more modern inside. I also really enjoy that there is a dining room table and kitchen area separate and 2 TVs which are great for family or longer stays

Review 45：We ( a family with 5y and 1y old kids) were staying in this hotel for three nights and just want to warn of some things that can be better: - sliding windows are broken (and most probably locked) - no way for fresh air except keep door open - really old rusted building - staircases are narrow and more like fire-escape not designed for normal usage. We had a hard time getting with strolled on 2nd floor. - look like there no heat insulation at all - at day time walls and ceiling were very hot - very old and noisy AC. Even without thermostat. - a paper thin walls, we hear all neighbors - even doors have very old mechanical keys and only one key per room - very inconvenient for family. As a small bonus, picture frame fall down from a nail right on a bed at our first evening. We were lucky it did not hit kids.

Review 123：Just four small things that can be easily remedied: rather than being on top of the small fridge, the microwave was on the side of the sink counter, which left inadequate space for toiletries for two people. There was no small table and chairs on which to eat, play cards, etc. We used the desk, but one had to sit on the bed. There was no hair dryer. Mattress cover kept sliding off the corner.
Review 124：Loved the screened porch and wonderful view of the lake and sunset, small beach and deck by the water, plus the fact there were only three rooms upstairs in our section, which made for a peaceful and quiet night. Bed was comfortable, and towels were adequate. There was a separate alcove across the dressing area from the bathroom with a bench that was more than adequate for two suitcases and plenty of hanger space, plus iron and ironing board. The staff even provided a small toaster when we asked for one. The continental breakfast was more than adequate - coffee, hot water for tea, breads, breakfast cake, Activia yogurt, apples, bananas, blueberry muffins, cream cheese and bagels. Staff was pleasant and went above and beyond to assure our welcome and comfort.
