Review 1：One of the nights a guest had their car broken into. Awareness of this drew attention to the surriunding area, the many locals walking around at night in it, and the fack that no security gaurd was present.

Review 4：Perfect place to stay when attending Oakland Raiders game. Rooms are spacious, great configuration, immaculately clean, most comfortable beds I've ever had in a hotel. Desk staff is wonderful, shuttle drivers awesome. Breakfast is very good.

Review 5：Check in was very difficult. I had a rather strange circumstance so I called in advance to see if it was something they could accommodate me with but when I was there it was quite different!

Review 7：We have stayed at the hotel several times. We have been satisfied by the service, location, and comfort. This time the hotel was occupied with a couple of youth football teams. Many of the children were ill-mannered, the parents and chaperones were either unwilling or unable to see what these kids were up to. I went to the gym and it had been trashed. I am limited in what I can do to workout due to fractures in my toes, I opened the gym door and immediately tripped over some of the towels that had been strewn around the gym, hurting my foot. The seats for the recumbent bikes were jammed in place, making them unusable. The elliptical machine had been abused, the sled of one foot piece was off the track and the device and surrounding floor was littered with metal shavings. I was able to fix the elliptical machine so I could work out. The shavings posed a hazard to anyone without full coverage footwear. I could not set the television on an adult channel as one of the remotes was missing. I know that this was not the responsibility of the hotel staff, but when I reported the problems the desk clerk did not appear to recognize the hazards posed. At breakfast the next morning, my husband and I waited almost an hour before we could get into the dining room. Perhaps in the future, these large groups can have an alternate dining schedule from other guests. I am sure that the organizations that these children were a part of did not pay the same price that I paid for ourstay. At the rate I was charged, I expected a much different experience. I submit that the youth football organization reimburse me.

Review 8：Quiet location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Review 9：Even though I had a pre-confirmed booking, the hotel would not sign me on arrival as they did not have a modern chip card reader. As an offered immediate alternative... they would not accept a full cash upfront payment instead. In fact - be prepared - they were and are fully prepared to turn away even a woman traveling, fresh off an airplane, alone, late at night, and feeling quite vulnerable - away - into a unfamiliar town (by then very late at night)...if and as a card swipe payment was not possible for them. I was very honestly horrified!!!

Review 14：We were pleasantly surprised and grateful that the hotel would transport us from the rental car center back to the hotel rather than having to take a shuttle to the airport terminal to be picked up. I normally don't respond to inquiries regarding my stay when I travel, however, I wanted to make sure that you were made aware of how pleased we were. We were only in the area for less than 24 hours.

Review 15：The pool didn't seem to be very clean, the fitness center was very small and had a leak that the staff needed to use a wetvac on while I was working out. The guest laundry had one broken dryer, which meant that two people washed clothes at once, but then one had to wait a full drying cycle before putting their wet clothes into the dryer. The breakfast was about what you'd expect--we skipped it and paid for breakfast elsewhere.

Review 16：Good location, and everything was basically fine. The room was clean and the wifi worked. This is a perfectly acceptable no frills kind of place to stay.

Review 17：1) had to call for shuttle but reservation confirmation said nothing of that, just a note that shuttles run every 30 minutes. I waited nearly an hour, having not called. 2) "Hot" food was served room temp even though it was in hot dish. Could make somebody ill.

Review 27：The hotel's location has absolutely no business being where it is, it is literally in a warehouse district that happens to be surrounded by various gang hangouts. It was very exciting for me and my kids to wake up and look out the window and see the piles and piles of garbage that had been spilled right outside our window (I really wish I could upload the picture for this review). Oh, and if you need some "company" for the evening then that action isn't too far away from this exciting hotel too. Had to explain that one to my kids too. Thanks BW ! People: spend $20 extra and find a safer hotel to stay at.

I called front desk 1st time was hung up on, finally after 3rd time someone answered and he apologized and said it was taking care of....How? Yes they gave the poor man another room. But us?

Review 37：This motel let us down by first not having a remote control for the TV and when we mentioned it to the receptionist she shrugged her shoulders, as if to say, "What do you want me to do about it?" A male attendant near the counter immediately went and found a remote but it did not work. We again mentioned it to the girl on the front counter who then stated, "Just use the buttons on the side of the set." The next day we were taken to the Bart station and told to ring when we needed to be picked up. On our return we rang the motel and was informed they would pick us up in 5 to 10 minutes. Some 25 to 30 minutes later they arrived. The Bart station is 1 mile away. The next day the same thing happened when the promised time was again 5 to 10 minutes but the waiting time extended out to nearly 45 minutes this time. The Quality Inn shuttle called in three times and picked up their guests during this time. In that time we could have walked to the motel and back to the Bart station. The day we checked out we requested that the stay be recorded on our Best Western Rewards Account but the receptionist refused to extend this courtesy to us. We later phoned Best Western Rewards Centre and they apologised and awarded us our points. This is a nice motel but the staff we struck just did not care and we felt that we were a nuisance to their day and were not wanted here and we were pleased to be rid of this Best Western. If you wish to be ignored and treated as nuisance in the staff's day, please stay but if not, stay somewhere else in the area. ie Quality Inn etc. as at least they picked up their guests from the Bart Station three times while we waited.

Review 38：This motel provided an excellent location for exploring San Francisco, a very good breakfast and staff kept the food up to date with fresh food as it was eaten and kept the tables cleared so that there was no waiting time to have breakfast. The lobby also provided small biscuits etc. and fresh coffee which was handy for a quick snack when required.

But there were many more guest that showed up after us, I'd say close to 6 or 8. I suggest making allowances for how busy breakfast is and accommodate the guest that do show up around 9. Or at least ask if they are missing something. I am a tipper. I tipped the front desk and the cleaning staff but did not give one to the breakfast person. Another person had said the same, he was not leaving a tip.
