Review 1：We loved the location in St Pete Beach and we had a great first floor room that opened out to the pool area. It was a good overall value for an older motel especially because of the location.

Review 2：price ended up being slightly higher than at time of booking. Did not argue due to small amount as we were leaving early and it was not worth the time. Hallway carpet was outdated and dirty. Rooms need updating along with entire motel, carpet etc. you get what you pay for

Review 24：Your housekeeping is non-existent. When they did show up, it was a waste of time. I have NEVER seen such poor work. One day no one shows up, the next they show up at almost 6 pm. Never was anything wiped down or cleaned. The beds were just straightened on the top. Very, very poor work. The staff doesn't seem at all engaged.

Review 35：The Stagg. From the restaurant to the front desk were VERY rude. Asking them for even basic service seemed to be an inconvenience to them. The tiki bar closed at 7p.m.and when I ordered room service I was told I needed to go get it myself. The pool also closed very early for a "resort". So if you want to do anything after 8p.m. you need to leave the property.

Review 46：The room was right off of the pool deck and on the beach. We had zero issues while staying there. Staff were amazing even offered to move their car so we could have a decent parking space. Will definitely be staying there again!

Review 47：We happened on this motel looking for a one night stay. We had arrived in ST. Pete early and had reservations for the remainder of our stay elsewhere. I wish we had found this one first. They were less expensive and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. They even let us leave our motorcycle there while we were in transition to our other location and offered for us to leave our luggage inside. We will definitely stay here again and again.

Instead i was tol to have my daughter park her car at a liquor store 2 blocks away for $10 a day. I never saw the parking lot completely full the entire stay.

The entertainment at the outside bar was ridiculous , we were scolded for eating food at a table even tho the kitchen was closed and asked to sit elsewhere. I will not stay here again nor recommend anyone else to.There are too many other places on the beach that are at least welcoming.

Review 75：Decor is excellent - Art-Deco lighting in hallways mixed with rich colorful carpets and spiral staircase. Quality comfortable seating in restaurant. Convenient to Eckerd College and to variety of stores across street. Of course gulf view and on beach location with great sunsets. Refrigerator in room and on premises guest laundry. Tiki bar with rooftop seating. Very helpful and friendly staff attentive to needs of guests. Ample free parking.

Review 76：I don't think I would recommend this place to my family or friends. The hallways as soon as you got off the elevator had a really bad smell. To me this was not worth the 150.00 I spent. And it was for my boyfriends birthday and even he was even disappointed

Review 78：A few things I would say negative have only to do with cleanliness. The 2 rooms we had both were surface clean including all our bedding and towels it was more like the room needed a good deep spring cleaning and fresh paint. there also was a musty smell thru out the hotel that also felt like could be resolved with a good deep cleaning and fresh paint. Lastly there was a slight smell to the shower water but none of theses things made our stay un-enjoyable just a small noticeable inconvenience.

Beds are very comfortable and rooms are a nice size. our beach front room on the ground floor was truly beach front, open doors 3 steps down from the patio and toes are in the sand. vendors on the beach are nice and have reasonable pricing for their activities and the cabana beds or chairs with umbrellas. loved our stay

Told me to go a block down and use the internet café. I used my phones wifi and it put me over on my data costing me an extra $45 in overages.

Review 86：A front desk clerk was extremely rude from the moment I stepped up to the front desk to check in. After talking to Corporate about her behavior she was relieved for the day, but by then, my nerves had been shaken badly and I was not able to enjoy my stay and there was no real attempt at guest recovery. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

Review 105：Front desk, restaurant and bar staff were friendly and accommodating. Common areas (outside and inside) were kept relatively clean and were spacious and inviting. Location is great, can walk to many bars and restaurants as well as grocery and liquor stores. Movies and malls within 30-45 minutes (in case it rains).

However we have stayed at a lot of cheap hotels around the world so the facilities did not bother us very much. The thing that makes me telling people to stay away from this hotel was the service from staff (front desk). We arrived 2pm and waited 4hours to get a room because we had simply requested a room with a balcony. Besides this, service was extremely poor and we did not feel welcome.

Review 119：When my husband and I got married, which was ten years ago, we were not able to take a honeymoon. We were so happy with our resort choice. We loved the resort restaurant. Not only was the food amazing the service was friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and straightened each day at our convenience. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing.

So about 530 we return to hotel to hear room not ready with an attitude.so ask when and is told it could take up till 8 oclock to get u in.so after complaining i get a different room.
