Review 1：Rooms were not cleaned well (dust, particles etc), few of the staff were not too friendly. Price was very good but they could offer a breakfast that could be called a breakfast too...

Review 3：I had read the reviews when I booked about the dirty rooms and cockroaches, and they turned out to be true. Our beds had been made, but with what appeared to be dirty sheets (long dark hairs on the pillows, sock lint inside the sheets), and I did see two cockroaches. There was a toy under the bed (easily visible to any maid) and the previous occupant's washcloth hanging on the shower rod. What's the point of running a hotel if the rooms aren't clean? That's pretty basic.

Review 4：Mark, the one on duty the night we arrived was very friendly.

Review 5：The first room that we entered was missing the security lock and the bathroom door wouldn't close. We were given a different room, but both rooms had disgusting carpets and easy chairs. All of the clerks were out of uniform and dressed in poor taste for professionals.

Review 9：Cockroaches everywhere, dirty, carpet very stained. Neighboring businesses said 10 people a week would come in and complain. They said it is frequented by drug addicts and prostitutes and that is exactly what we saw. This place was horrible and I am not picky! Beginning to believe I can't believe reviews, friends and relatives must be putting in false reports.

Review 11：It was model on the bottom bed there was a bad smell in it the outside was dirty it smelled bad like beer urine and the police was there hookers there. They wanted a deposit first the hole building was smelly like real bad urine no clean towel the bathroom was falling apart... I ask before I gave them any money can I look at they let but I'm 4.5 month pregnant and they didn't care so they did not get my money nor serivce...

Review 13：Dirty room. Carpet is disgusting. Weird smell in the room that never went away. Hair in the bathroom. Shower was terrible and dirty looking. Lamp and alarm clock didnt work. Trash behing the table and bed frame. Was going to use the pool but they didnt have any lights on since it was 7 at night. I glad i was only there for one night

Review 14：Fast check in and no bug.

Review 15：Room needs a makeover. At least a paint job and carpet cleaning. Upon entering room, carpet was water stained. Upon further inspection, No cups, no ice bucket, no wastebasket, no remote for TV. TV was unplugged behind the cabinet and the hair dryer did not work. A visit to front desk (no phone) cured all but the hair dryer. That never did get fixed.

Review 23：This place needs repairs! One light doesn't work. Nicks and scratches on furniture. Desk is placed where there is no light and no mirror, with no plug on that wall. No vanity in bathroom - no place to put toothbrush or toiletries. Not enough towels in bathroom. Grout between tiles in bathroom was filthy and black. Nothing a little steam cleaning wouldn't help!

Review 24：The price was good. Staff was helpful and brought the extra pillows we needed promptly. Bed was comfortable.

Review 25：Terrible smoking smell in the room very huge of roaches in the room!!!!I could not sleep the whole night becose was killing roaches and waitedto the children wake up and we`ll run away from this hell!!! Review 29：Before booking I read all the bad reviews and said to myself how bad can it be? Maybe they are just over reacting....my whole experience was kind of bad. Placed looked outdated, looked like some locals were staying there, place was dirty, there were little roaches in the bathroom, I was traveling with my little brother and I kind of felt unsafe at a certain moment. I will certainly won't be staying here again

Review 57：it was so dirty I could not stand to be in the room. The bed did not have fresh sheets. the floors were so dirty my feet was black. the bathroom had not been cleaned in I don't know how long. when I complained they said "nothing is wrong with your room." and refused to do anything. I had to go out and spend 25 dollars for cleaning supplies to clean my own room. even the two top managers would not give my money back to go elsewhere. so I cleaned the room. took the clothes someone else left, and the blackend rags to the top manager. and all he said was, "shouldn't yiur husband be the one talking to me" AND " did you mop the floors too?"

Review 64：The door would not shut in the first room they gave me. A lot of shady characters around. Didn't seem clean. In second room, the sink was very slow to drain and was nasty. I went to a nearby Big Lots and bought sheets to cover up their sheets. This place is NOT a 3 star hotel.

Review 68：The rooms were not clean. We went to Walmarts to buy cleaning products to clean the bathroom ourselves. If every other hotel/motel in the area was not booked we would have left. WiFi connection was terrible. Several "no so nice looking" characters roaming around the motel. We also found out that this hotel doubles as an apartment complex. Police department has been known to get calls to come to the motel for issues on a regular basis. Not a good place to stay.

Review 70：Well I had to cancel a two day stay to one. Was refunded less than half. Price for a two day stay was 165.00 was refunded 54.00. What is up with this. That is pretty poor. I cancelled before 3pm the first day so it was way before check in for the first day. Lock did not work (broken) very difficult to open the door from the out side. Room did look clean.

Review 71：We left our head phones there and we were able to retrieve them. That was very nice. Staff at the desk seemed very nice.

Review 72：the first I was given had no wifi & the rug made my white socks black after 2 hrs in the room. I could smell the dirt. Ironing board was old, dirt, rusted as well as everything else in the room. Paul, maintenance man gives lip service. Yes, to everything, does zero! Did not even get me a blow dryer. Manager never around when asked for her. Had to get a different room which was cleaner. This tight budgeted frugal single mom will pay more fore a better place next time.

Review 87：The breakfast was horrible everything short of continental, it consisted of toast and bagels with Nats or ants crawling on a nearby breakfast table they didn't offer normal breakfast items such as cereal and juice only coffee my child is 4 and was thirsty after waking up so I was hopeful but nothing and the website didn't mention a $50.00 retainers fee if you paid with cash and the rooms were box TVS not up to date flat screens

Review 89：Lobby needed cleaning. Requested non smoking room, was given room couldn't breathe in because of smoke smell. Moved to another room with no phone or coffee maker. Bathtub dirty, carpet filthy. Would not recommend .

Review 92：The outside of the building looks run down. There were people arguing with the staff about paying their Friday to Friday rent, people clearly live there The rooms were dirty overall, bad odor, clogged sinks, grimy shower and bathroom floor, stained carpets, ripped lamp shade. It took 3 rooms for us to find one that was "sort of acceptable". We heard police sirens, people running up and down the stairs and walkways. Someones car was broken into. They offered donuts in the lobby but they were covered in ants. It is worth the extra money to stay somewhere else.

Review 93：I was disappointed. Apon my arrival i was told my room was given away. I booked a king suite to accommodate a smoker. What i was given was a double bed suite for a non smoker. Both frt desk clerks gave me different reasons why my room was given away.

Review 96：Mold in the toilet broken secure lock on the door advertised 1.99breakfast that they never had laundry facilities were not good. Workerin the hotel said he would come and give my money back as it wasobviously lost in the machine well the 3 1/2 hours later for oneload it took I never seen him again. And when I asked at the lobby forquarters for the laundry they acted like they didn't know what Iwas talking about. Plus there was not even a vending machine with soapor quarters. Then advertised nightly entertainment that was also ajoke. Was not nightly and would not call it entertainment. The worstpart is I was there for a week. Not once did I see housekeeping I wentto the lobby after 2 days and asked for clean towels I was originallygiven two and I had to bring my dirty towels to the lobby to get cleanand then they acted like I asked for a million dollars and told me wellwe only have two clean That's all I had to begin with and was onlyasking for two. If you stay here my advice please check your roombefore paying.

Review 97：The only good thing at this hotel was the wifi and Manny'sSteakhouse next door.

Review 98：We didn't like anything about it. I booked a 3 nights Before gettingthere. When we got to our room the bed wasn't made towels on thefloor, half eaten food on the desk. Nothing about it even looked likethe pictures they have on the site. Staff acted like the cleaning personmust have fOrgot. The next room the tv wad broke. When I tried to callthe front desk found the phone broke too. I called via cell and againgot the response oh hmm that isn't good. Asked for the free Internetaccess. Once again doesn't work it says limited and can't evencheck email. If it wasn't for the long drive to get there and beingtired,we would have left that nighr. We left as soon as we woke. Theentire place is filthy and towels are the size of a hand towel. As wewere leaving a couple with 2 young kids had the sa me issues and werecanceling their stay.

When I called the front desk at 7:45 am and ask for towels the front desk receptionist told me that housekeeping wasn't there and wouldn't be there until 8:30 am. Never got towels until 9:15 am, and I had to go to the front desk to get them. Also, smoke detector on the counter near the restroom. Thank God there wasn't a fire or my wife and I would have been overcome by smoke inhalation. Wouldn't recommend it and will never stay there again.

The place was a total dump.....starting with the creepy vagrant in the parking lot, who said to us (two women and a child), "Oh, you are coming to stay with me tonight!" No elevator, broken door lock, major stain on carpet, dirty bathroom and A/C did not get cool. NEVER AGAIN!! The place should be condemned!

Review 127：The first 2 rooms were side by side, but in 1 the air condition did notblow cold air, so we ended up with 2 rooms 5 rooms away from each other.1 room had a funky smell, but that was the only other room availableclose to the first room, so we didn't complain. The smoke alarm wasmissing in the 1st room and did not have a battery in the 2nd room. Webrought this to the attention of the front desk and they supplied asmoke alarm for the 1st room and reattached it to the wall in the 2ndroom (we had taken it down since it didn't work and discovered itwas missing the battery, which we advised the front desk.) When wereturned to our room after going out to dinner, they had provided asmoke alarm for the 1st room, but had not inserted a battery, so withthe limited electricity from being connected to the wall it beeped everyminute, even when we disconnected it. We called the front desk from ourcell phone (there were no room phones in either room) and after it ranguntil the call dropped twice, on the 3rd try they picked up and weadvised of the battery issue. After we had gone to bed (not much later)they brought up a battery which my husband inserted and solved thebeeping problem. After the end of the stay our son told us that they hadnever inserted the battery in the 2nd room, but had just put it back onthe wall. If we had realized this we would have again requested abattery for that smoke alarm too. When we returned to our room the 2ndday after an exhausting (but fun) day at legoland, none of the keycardsworked, so we had to carry all our backpacks and purchases back down thestairs to the minivan and drive to the front desk (we were at the veryback of the property) to get them reactivated. At this inconveniencewhen we were so tired and had to go up the stairs to our rooms with ourarms full twice, we almost made up our minds never to use this motelagain, but at the end of the trip the overall value changed our minds.

Review 128：The staff was agreeable to allowing us to inspect the rooms before check-in and willing to correct any of the deficiencies that they could.During all our communications the staff were polite and accommodating.They were apologetic when appropriate, which is refreshing as so oftenwhen things aren't up to par you get a "so what"attitude. This was not at all the case here. As a family of 6 we need 2rooms, so we may book here again to take advantage of the low rate,since the staff did try to work with us. The motel is minutes fromlegoland, which we like.

I confirmed my room twice the same day and when I got there it was the wrong room, they have to find another room, not the same, and I was told by the lady from the lobby that she was not going to charge me extra money for the change of rooms I told her that is her fault not mine, she gave my room. Review 133：Tv. Cable had to be replaced no refrigerator or microwave as advertised , telephone was inoperable, airconditioner fan made noise ,door frame at lock had been damaged prior.looked like wrecking bar used to open door Door lock did not work properly. Furniture outdated and stained .

Review 134：Clean bathroom

Review 135：Room was in major disrepair: Holes in wall, dirty carpet, ceiling in bathroom coming down, faulty TV. Pretty poor overall.

Review 136：Room was quiet. Location was convenient to LegoLand.

Review 137：the door that connected my room to the room next door would not close. I tried slamming it but it would not close. this was obviously a safety concern for us and our children. someone from the staff came to "fix it" but could not. the best they could do was "jam" the door in place but it still was not secure. I went to the front desk and asked for a different room, when I arrived to the new room it had a musky smell in it. I went back to the front desk and ask for another room, and again the same smell. we ended up staying in the room with the "jammed" door. and also the shower would not drain and the water would just fill the tub.
