Review 1：The receptionist was very polite and helpful. Although my online reservation didn't go through completely, he was still willing to accommodate me.
Review 2：noise from fridge, other rooms and office. Waiting outside office for someone, used the telephone and the cell number but got answer phone. Got eaten alive in the first night due to mozzies

Review 8：My only complaint is the bird cage. It was right outside the door to my rental, when sitting outside I detected an odor. Possibly the cage should be cleaned or removed.
Review 9：The staff was extremely helpful and available. It was quiet and the location was great. The pool and grounds were very well kept. More that ample parking. I would rate my stay as excellent and would go back.

Review 11：Bed linens very fresh, clean, and pretty. Always a plus to have a mini fridge, microwave, and some basic dishes. Room was very clean and the hotel was very quiet at night. Definitely not a "resort" as the name says, more like a budget motel. I will stay here again when visiting in the future due to cleanliness, quietness, and price.
Review 12：The air conditioner in the economy room was not large enough to keep the room cool during the heat of the day (early June temps). The chairs associated with the small black table in the room were almost too flimsy to use. The TV was small and outdated. The floor in the bathroom had soft spots and toilet was loose. Small upgrades would make a big improvement.

Review 18：After staying in many hotels within a few years, we understand that cleanness is a bug issue for budget hotels. The cleaning staff is trained badly or does not know what cleanness means. They just do some kind of order but proper dusting, vacuuming, wasching kitchen appliances, windows, floors is probably beyond their duties or professional comprehension.
Review 19：The owner is very hospitable, the pool was really heated unlike all other pools where we stayed, the apartment was big and with full kitchen appliances, beautiful patio on the canal, complimentary kayaks, real wifi but not just nominal one as in other hotels.

Review 22：I really liked how courteous the staff was and the room was perfect. Out back was my little peace of Heaven. On the waterfront and being able to fish with equipment the hotel provided was priceless. I will be coming back here for my vacation.
Review 23：We made an excellent use of the kitchen in our room and enjoyed the pool with deck chairs in front of the resort and large deck with tables overlooking water in the back of it. Very friendly staff made our stay most enjoyable. Will come again.

Review 25：The location on the water, on a big canal, was lovely, as was the beachy sandy area with a covered deck. It was quiet, yet awalk or bike ride to restaurants and shops. You could sign up to use a bike, or fish, or swim in the pool. It feels like an Old Florida no-frills sort of spot: all the basics, friendly, one-of-a-kind, family run. I loved the full refrigerator, microwave etc.
Review 26：If you're looking for super modern and a big spread for breakfast Hampton Inn is down the street. This place is home away from home. Not super modern, but clean and comfortable. Beyond affordable. The staff was amazing and the free use of kayaks, paddle boat, and row boat was a huge plus. I would stay again in a second.

Before taking me to my room they had someone check to make sure it was up to good standards while someone else showed me around so that I knew what the hotel offered. They offer free canoes and paddle boats along with fishing and grills that you can use as you wish.
