Review 1：Breakfasts were rushed not enough tables available. Food left out uncovered for the flies. Extra charge for use of room safe.

Review 3：Spotlessly clean hotel, super friendly staff and excellent facilities. We were upgraded on arrival, a freshly made sandwich was in our room which was very welcome, We will definitely be returning to Kalkan and will be staying at the Samira.

Review 4：Nothing was bad about the stay.. Apart from the pool being freezing but that seems to be the same with every hotel! No complaints!

Review 6：1. I think it is unnecessarily penny-pinching to charge £20 for the use of the safe which is part of the room fixtures, anyway. Most good hotels provide this service free of charge. If necessary, a modest amount could simply be added on to the room rate. 2. While the room lighting is ambient and atmospheric, there needs to be better lighting in the bathrooms, particularly for ladies putting on their make-up or men shaving.

Review 7：The hospitality and cleaning staff were superb and always had a friendly welcome - especially Mumin, who is a delightful ambassador for the hotel. The place was spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard throughout. Our room (overlooking the pool) had a great view over the bay also and the hotel was reasonably accessible for the village - though the hill is quite steep for the elderly or those with mobility issues. However, we have visited previously and would happily return in the future.

Review 17：Everything. This is a great hotel. Not too big or too small and very attentive and pleasant staff. Pool excellent, pool bar great. Food great. The rooms were also very high standard. We needed an additional room and this was organised easily on arrival by reception.

Review 19：It was baffling that people seemed to be up at the crack of dawn to bagsy sun beds that they then didn't appear to use for the best part of the day! I got down at 8 and all the beds under the canopy were already staked out with towels, but this is a small gripe. Space could usually be found.

Review 20：The apartment was clean and spacious for a family of 5 including 2 adult sized teens. The poolside area was wonderful and the attentive, friendly service was superb. The relaxed lunches were great and the teenagers loved the milkshakes at the bar. The welcome evening with Turkish dancing was a real hit with the family and our family friends. Superb quality entertainment!

Review 21：No elevator. Slow laundry service. ~ 10 min walk to small local beach. Taxi or scheduled shuttle to bigger beaches nearby town.

Review 24：One of the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in... It was extremely comfortable and clean.. The staff, especially the hotel manager, was so helpful and solution oriented. The facility was satisfying in terms of layout and what you offer.

Review 25：The hotel pool area was very very cramped with sum loungers. I could not bring myself to lay so close to my fellow British neighbour I had not yet met. I decided to go to a local beach club with my daughter so we had a little more space! No sea views from pool area either. They also rationed the ice! I asked for s few cubes and was politely told no, I had to grovel to get one cube!

Review 26：The location is close to the old town so ideal if only staying for a few days. The room was small but nicely decorated and good storage, welcome sandwich (new one on me!) My room had a large balcony with a road view and semi sea view. I noticed most balconies were much smaller than mine though. The reception staff were very friendly and chatty which was welcoming after arriving from a very bleak hotel.

Review 27：Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. Hotel was very modern with excellent facilities and beautifully clean. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen area had everything you need and more. Power showers and crisp white bedlinen. Faultless.

Review 28：Some of the staff need to be more interactive with guests and not so surly. Being moved to another table during breakfast was a first. If the table had been reserved then a simple notice would help. Why do they need to do thaat?

Be prepared to only be allowed to drink/eat from hotel bar/day restaurant as we were told on the 1st day we were not allowed to have our own food/drink by the pool or grounds of hotel only consume in our room! Management said!

Review 44：We have recently returned from this hotel/appt after 8 days holiday, it was fab! Spotlessly clean with amble staff who were friendly and couldn't do enough for you, moomin and his team are a credit to this establishment! The 1 bed appt we stayed in didn't have the greatest of views but was spotless and cleaned everyday of our stay, it was modern and had all of the things you would expect from a self catering accommodation, the complex itself has been returned to a really high modern standard, my only criticisms are, because the pool spends allot of the day in the shade it was freezing most days, the hotel/appts could do with a slightly tuned up atmosphere, a bit of music in the day/evening would have been nice, this is not a criticism on the hotel/appt or it's staff but it attracts a more mature cliental and we were the only family here that week with a 2 year old toddler!!! A few tuts were heard from me and mrs miserable (you know who you are) just be aware that at the end of season you might get a few huff's and puff's, but you have paid your money and it's your holiday too! Great location Great all round amenities ie small kipa (Turkey tesco) was right next door

Review 45：The only downfall was that we specifically requested a double bed, and to be honest, it's a bit of a gamble as to whether you get one or not, regardless of your request. We got given two singles, and eventually after lots of to-ing and fro-ing, decided to push the beds together and wedge sheets down the middle. It could have been handled slightly better.

Review 46：The hotel was perfectly located, just a 5-10 minute walk up the hill out of the main marina where all the restaurants and bars were. The staff, especially the lads working around the bar & pool area were exceptional, and treated us wonderfully. We were on a baby-moon, and the boys spoilt me (the baby) rotten! The room was lovely and modern, with enough storage for clothes and luggage. The TV in the mirror was also a lovely touch. Our little balcony was perfect for the afternoon sunshine, and all was kept lovely and clean. The pool was absolutely brilliant, so clean and perfect, we absolutely loved it! Comfy sunbeds with normally no problems getting a space around the pool...

Review 47：Bathroom door did not have a lock on it and was frosted glass do a bit awkward if you have young children with you who don't understand to knock. Overcame the problem by having a suitcase if front if the door when in use ..

Review 49：staff hit & miss, not thoroughly trained in a professional manner, stayed in an apartment but no dishwasher, washing machine etc. had I booked a room this is to be expected but not for an apartment when you have young children. Renovated rooms nice but not enough to warrant current prices, poor value for money. Breakfast could improve considering the price. Toiletries and room amenities not replaced upon use.

Review 53：Drinks were expensive and whilst the staff appeared keen to serve drinks and food around the pool we later learned they did receive a commission on the amount sold. We understand the hotel prices are going up in 2015 so it would be ashame if it prices itself too high.

Review 54：The hotel had been fully refurbished to a very high standard and we visited it in its first full season (summer 2014). It is superbly located close to the centre and all the excellent restaurants. It was kept spotlessly clean whilst all the staff were extremely friendly.

Review 55：Many items were broken and required fixing. They don't allow any outside food in the tiny refridgerator - but it is an apartment with a kitchenette!

Review 63：The only complaint we have, which is more of an opinion and not a huge deal, is that you are not allowed to bring your own drinking water to the pool area. We understand that they would like you to purchase food and alcohol from them but purchasing bottled water at a high bar price all day can become expensive. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Review 64：My husband and I stayed at the Samira Exclusive for 4 nights. When we arrived we were upgraded to a room with an ocean view. It was stunning. The hotel is modern, stylish and extremely clean with a hard working staff. Breakfast was very good with a variety of choices. The pool area is an exceptional place to relax and keep cool. We were also very pleased by the Samira's convenient location, close walking distance to the town centre and harbour.
