Reviews for Asfiya Sea View Hotel

Review 1:Disappointed that the domestic staff didn't replenish the tea bags in the room

Review 2:We stayed in room 601 which had gorgeous views with a lovely pool. Loved Kalkan and the beach club linked to the hotel

Review 3:The reception staff were young and inexperienced, they were enthusiastic but not well trained. We paid for a high level of service which was not received. They were not flexible to our requirements; they are used to one type of tourist who are older and just want to sit by the pool and not those who want to explore and enjoy the area. Customer service was really disappointing when you pay this amount for a hotel you expect it. Our room wasn't cleaned one of the days

Review 4:I really like the view and rooms in this hotel. The breakfast and waiting staff were good and the food was delicious and well presented especially at dinner. The room was clean and the bed was comfy

Review 5:No cons.

Review 6:Staying at this hotel was an absolute pleasure. The hotel overlooks a magnificent bay and having a room with a small private pool was a real plus. The friendly staff deserve a 10+ rating, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant offered an extensive menu and all of the dishes were delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing holiday in a stunning coastal location.

Review 7:Nothing bad to say!

Review 8:The fabulous contemporary airy rooms. The new bar and restaurant area are lovely. Access to Yali beach club is great. Can't wait to return!

Review 9:The private pool Is not private and freezing cold In 30 degree heat also over 650tl for 1 night way to expensive, the non alcholic drinks were the most expensive I've ever payed in any hotel one can fanta is $10 tl

Review 10:Great breakfast good views

Review 11:Hotel in a lovely location, overlooking the sea and only 5/10 minute walk to centre of Kalkan. Staff wonderful, friendly and helpful. Food is excellent and beautifully presented. It was a relaxing stay.

Review 12:The hotel is hard to find if self driving. Only a few staff speak English. The pool loungers are taken by people who reserve them with books and towels.

Review 13:The hotel is in easy walking distance of the centre of Kalkan with it restaurants and shops. It is modern, new and comfortable. The breakfast is an excellent buffet to suits all tastes.

Review 14:This was the most relaxing week we have ever had. The room with plunge pool was very nice and bed so comfortable. Obtain and his staff in the restaurant and bar could not do enough for you. They were excellent. Shukran, the manager always made sure you were happy with the hotel and was very professional and courteous. Will definitely be returning next year

Review 15:No major faults

Review 16:Good location to walk into town (5 minutes), staff were extremely helpful and friendly, rooms were large and well equipped, food excellent

Review 17:If you are interesting in booking a room with a private pool and views are important to you, then avoid rooms 101 and 102, they are perfectly lovely rooms but don't have such a good view as some of the others.

Review 18:Such a beautiful spot, a mere 5min walk up from the harbour, with all its nice restaurants and bars. The staff are lovely, all very professional and friendly, we asked to move rooms and the general manager was happy to oblige, nothing seemed too much trouble. For a young couple we were looking for plenty to do and see and Kalkan didn't disappoint. The hotel itself is located close to a great beach bar only a 5min walk away and the town 5min in the other direction. The views were fabulous and with almost zero children at the hotel it was truly relaxing.

Review 19:This Hotel is in its first season of operation and staff need to be better trained especially in breakfast service and cleaning procedures.

Review 20:Quite pool deck and well designed and cool bedroom and bathroom. Also very good location and easy access from main road.

Review 21:Restaurant area- English skills of the restaurant staff is very poor - and they "hover" around the tables wanting to take all the plates, silverware and glasses before you're finished, pacing back and forth, watching you. Highly annoying.

Review 22:Lovely views, nicely decorated and comfortable room. Nice pool area and comfortable lounge chairs. Easily walkable to the town where there are many restaurants to choose from.

Review 23:Nothing much I didn't like.

Review 24:The rooms were lovely and very clean with beautiful views. Excellent breakfast with good food options in a wonderful location. The sun loungers were very comfortable too, as most are not! The staff, though obviously new and inexperienced were extremely nice and helpful.

Review 25:The wifi in the rooms was very temperamental had to stand in a certain spot to get wifi, which was annoying. Also we had a room with a private pool but had no sun loungers which was disappointing.

Review 26:The hotel staff were extremely polite and friendly even though their English was limited which was a little difficult at times they were all very friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean and well thought out. Really liked the hotel :)

Review 27:Our stay at Asfiya was very lovely. Our room although initially disappointed as we requested a private pool room, was very beautiful. We had our own balcony that overlooked the sea view and the city harbour. The food was of a high standard and overall the prices reflect the quality. The staff were very friendly and made the stay special for us. If you are looking for a romantic getaway stay this is your place.

Review 28:At the time we were there the sunset at about 8.30pm but the pool 'shuts'at 7pm while still very hot ! Although there was absolutely no one around the pool or bar area we were asked to leave the pool when we mistakenly floated into the water at 7.20pm after a very hot day of driving - surely different times of pool closure for different times of the year.

Review 29:beautiful views and wonderful location - near enough to the town but far enough away to be quiet. Really nice pool areas.

Review 30:Room wasn't completely set up in the morning. Ambience at breakfast was a bit stuffy - management felt like they make it a bit tense. Staff were generally very friendly. You had to walk to get a massage or use the gym. Seemed a bit odd to have to pay for a cappuccino for breakfast when you're already paying quite a lot for the room but coffee was nice compared to the general standard. Breakfast was quite good but not the most amazing we've had in our trip to Turkey. Others have provided great Gozlemes etc.

Review 31:Beautiful place to stay. It really is a designer hotel. The room, bathroom and view of the cost were lovely. Bed, wi-fi and air conditioning were great. Pools were nice.

Review 32:Rooms large and clean. Private pool excellent

Review 33:Very nice location, staff, rooms. Uppgraded us to a room with private pool. It was amazing vacation ..

Review 34:Excellent Location, poor WiFi, breakfast options a bit small

Review 35:Spacious room Nice views Friendly staff Convenient location Great pool bar menu

Review 36:my week went too quickly !!

Review 37:everything, the staff the decoration, the room 103 with view and plunge pool, the breakfast, the location

Review 38:Nothing

Review 39:Everything, location , great breakfast, good service, rooms, sun beds .

Review 40:Beautiful hotel, attentive staff, great stay!

Review 41:Everything

Review 42:No Beach, a little bit far from the sea.

Review 43:Great View, Friendly Staff, Good Breakfast, Comfortable, Everything is new.

Review 44:Room service is not pro.

Review 45:Location is perfect. Silent. Pick one of the rooms with a small pool in front.

Review 46:Nothing not to like amazing

Review 47:The room was more than we expected. The views were to die for. Staff were very attentive excellent service.

Review 48:Everything was wonderful. It is a really great hotel and we would definitely recommend it

Review 49:No complaints at all but a couple of suggestions An information folder on the area and things to do would be useful. Some English tea bags as well as all the herbal teas would be great.

Review 50:Beautiful new hotel in a convenient setting. Stunning views across the bay. Large airy cool rooms with every convenience you could need. The lovely helpful staff are a real asset.

Review 51:Breakfast was alright, (??) we stayed at Lycia (in Kas) wherein the breakfast was INSANLy amazing, so it was hard to compete, I suppose. The coffee was pretty watered down also.

Review 52:The view is amazing, as is the pool (which is not salt water/ seems to be hard to find in both Kalkan and Kas). Also, the staff is lovely, we had a very late flight and when I inquired about late check out they literally offered us another room to hang out in u till 5 pm!!!! Very lovely people!

Review 53:Wi-fi intermittent. The coffee!

Review 54:The staff were fabulous, keen to help with a friendly smile. Beautiful setting, rooms pretty and beds comfortable. Value for money astonishing, "may be that's because I'm a Londoner"....
