Review 1：The rugs were heavily stained and very dirty both in the sleeping area and mini kitchen area. There were dead bugs in the corner near the air conditioner. The bathtub drain was plugged. Had to get a jet zip from them and unplug them myself thhat and the sink. They stated no maintainence till Monday this was Thursday. The blinds were broken and people could see in the room . Had to put blanket up. Spoke with a police officer and he stated that the hotel was noted for drugs and prostitution. He wanted to know if we were staying there I replied yes and also that I was retired law enforcement. Down the road is the Holiday Inn Express and about 20.00 per night cheaper with discounts like AAA,AARP or senior rate,military rate.

Review 5：Carpet was dirty & shower tile was mildewed. We requested queen deluxe room and beds were full size with queen head boards!!!! Room actually had a door to a small patio facing Del Prado....heard traffic all night. So much for thinking Casa Loma would be a nice stay, especially when family stayed at our house blocks away & to give them more room, we decided to stay at the hotel after a week's trip to Key West. Would not recommend the place to family or friends coming from up north. Additionally, there was no parking at 11pm and had to park at the commercial establishment across the street.

Review 15：They lost my reservation on Christmas eve. Did not have the 2 rooms I booked available until later. Shower head didn't work right in room 206. Free Wifi not available. Not as clean as I'd have liked. Ice machine was not working in my building. Laundry room was out of order. Continental breakfast was honey buns, packets of oatmeal and fruit. The pans in the kitchenette need to be replaced, some are rusty. If you book here, get a room facing away from the road. The traffic is heard consistently throughout the night.

Review 16：Kitchenette was great. Loved that they had a small fridge, four cooking burners and a small oven. I bought extra pans at the Dollar Tree nearby and left them there for other guests to use. There were plates, forks, knives, cups and glasses in the room. This motel would be fantastic if management took the time to make some minor repairs and conduct a thorough cleaning. I generally book here when I go over to visit my father and have few problems. All in all it's a decent hotel you can walk to many places in the area, and the value is great.

Review 17：Coffee maker was never cleaned after previous use. Next time will book a room not facing Del Prado. Couldn't even hear our conversation while sitting on balcony.

Review 26：Upon check in, at my request, the staff moved me to a first floor unit. However, I requested another room due to electrical issues and poor TV reception, and was moved promptly, no questions asked. Both the office staff and housekeeping staff were excellent.

Review 27：Not many faclites to do other than swiming pools or fishing which i dont like, i found myself going a walk every morning untill my friend arrvied or watching some tv to pass the time, the wifi didnt seem to work at all in my room but worked in other parts of the hotel.

Review 76：We had a room overlooking the street instead of the canal which made the room noisy and impossible to open the door on the patio. The room was dated and the carpet so old and dirty that I left my shoes on at night in case I had to get up during the night. The fully equipped kitchen had no microwave or coffee maker (a coffee maker was provided on request). The Wi-Fi had "gone down last week" and had not been fixed yet, even in the office area it was slow and kept cutting out to the point we could not use it. There were minimal TV channels available. We were booked for a week, but left after one night.

Review 97：We had a disgusting experience with Casa Loma. The toilet backed up and over flowed with crap. The front desk said there was no one available on staff to help! I ended up using the hotels toilet plunger to unplug the toilet and clean up the mess on the floor. Hey, i don't mind helping but then the front desk didn't offer to refund our money nor another stay the next time we came into town. Further, i asked for the general manager to call me the following day to talk about this. He did not contact me. As this stands, i will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Sad deal.

The noise of vehicles speeding byall night long was a bother in trying to get to sleep. We were on thesecond floor and there was no elevator. There was no inside door chainor locking device other than the combination card opener dead bolt.

The room was very large, the bed very comfortable, and we made good use of the kitchen area - definitely a plus. Everything was scrubbed clean and refreshed daily - housekeeping was excellent. The front desk staff was great. We stayed 9 nights and would not hesitate to return.
