Reviews for Value Stay Blankenberge City Centre
Review 1:Single beds should at least be 90cm wide. This one was however long and comfortable enough.
Review 2:Great help from the owner who lent me an iron and saved my appearance for the wedding I was attending to with a nice ironed shirt. Free coffee in the lobby before departing was also nice.
Review 3:La moquette sale et le manque de sécurité car il n'y a pas de personnel le soir et tout le monde peut entrer s'il possède le code !!
Review 4:La literie est confortable et la situation face au piétonnier.
Review 5:Basic and simple.Very overpriced. 165 euro per night is more than 2 times higher than the room is worth, even in high season. Very disappointing.
Review 6:Nice receptionist, clean, location in the centre, though noisy- tram and transport.
Review 7:The listing here mentions vending machines and laundry but I didn't find either. But that's not a criticism, more just an observation.
Review 8:First let me start off by saying that this a perfect location - opposite the Kusttram stop and just down the road from the railway station. It's also central for the town and easy walking distance for the beaches. What makes it a bit of an oddball is that during my two-day stay I didn't actually have any contact with the staff until checkout and even that was just a matter of handing over my keys. Check-in, having pre-paid, was simply a matter of picking up an envelope with my room key and instructions for the WiFi and door code, along with a copy of a contract to sign. After that the only staff I saw, until check-out, was the chambermaids making up the rooms during the day. But no complaints whatsoever. My single ensuite room was definitely a single - with a bed about the size of a train couchette but otherwise the room was sufficiently spacious with a little workdesk and functional chair. The advertised "limited" WiFi was more than adequate for my needs - the daily allowance is 1.5 Gb and the freebie tea and coffee in the lounge an unexpected plus.
Review 9:Too noisy next to a big street and tram, not enough staff to take care of breakfast, quite basic breakfast, bad coffee, not enough rolls for everybody, very restricted hours for check in. WiFi didn't work
Review 10:Big room, friendly staff
Review 11:Stained carpet, other than that all was perfect.
Review 12:Staff were very helpful, especially the hotel mngr, he went out of his way to get my laptop power up, as my electrical fitting was not compatible,he moved us to a room with better wifi connection, hotel was quiet with no excessive noise. central to all amenities and definitely excellent value for my money. We will definitely come back, keep it up guys. Paul & Noma Issele South Africa
Review 13:Wifi only worked well down stairs. We were on the 3 floor and out side noise was still pretty loud. NO parking. We had to drive around several blocks to be able to find parking.
Review 14:Staff was great. Easy to find. So close to the train station. Walking distance to the sea and down town.
Review 15:Room not cleaned and ready when we arrived at 4pm due to the hotel losing all its cleaning staff. No restaurant or food. No mini refrigerator or kettle in room. No car parking onsite - listing gives impression car parking is offsite but arranged through hotel.
Review 16:Wifi location
Review 17:Lack of personnel within the hotel. I took the elevator in the evening and it stopped between floors and I was stuck. Luckily another guest was able to assist me and I was able to get out of the elevator. I choose to walk up and downstairs the remainder of my stay. Upon entering and exiting there wasn't anyone attending the reception area.
Review 18:The privacy and quiet surroundings despite being in a high volume environment.
Review 19:Very comfy beds very clean, will be using again, didn't have breackfast so can't comment
Review 20:It was very central for what we wanted. Ideal as the tram stop is just across the road.
Review 21:No soap, poor shampoo... no security, manager absent, nobody in reception but for short times...

Review 34:It might be a good idea to offer the ability to make a cup of coffee or cup of tea in common area
Review 35:A cheap hotel in center of Blankenberge.
Review 36:Everything
Review 37:A dog belonging to the owner/worker was allways in the lobby attacking and frightening guests. My wife woundn't pass without me.
Review 38:The deluxe room was spaceous and quite clean. A few times the dog was on a chain.
Review 39:The staff w as extremely friendly, they were very very helpful. I would stay there again! the most friendly hotel that we have stay at. And the breakfast was delicious!
Review 40:The accommodation has too many defaults to justify its price. Of course for a € 50,- per day you do not expect a spectacular stay but a number of the basic elements were missing: curtains unable to darken the room, bad mattresses, thin walls, it takes 15 minutes to get 8 centimeter of water in the bathtub (no shower) and a loose bath handle (dangerous!) , only public parking facilities and a basic breakfast.
Review 41:The charm of the Vivaldi hotel is based on the very warm welcome of the owners.
Review 42:One of the reason for choosing the holiday was the free wifi. Very disappointed as it worked very rarely. It is not the hotel wifi is is a region not helpful in trying to sort it out.
Review 43:The hotel is friendly and clean. The staff were very helpful.
Review 44:Breakfast choices a bit restricted (no cereals).
Review 45:Family room very nice. Good location. Friendly staff.
Review 46:Big clean and cozy rooms, fair price and extremely friendly staff. And, also, lovely dog at the lobby.
Review 47:The staff is really friendly, great location (close to the beach). I highly recommend taking the breakfast there, good variety of food!
Review 48:Nice big room, friendly staff.
Review 49:The staff were execllent
Review 50:Friendly staff,clean,good location.
