Review 4：Great location, very clean, it is worth upgrading (very reasonable rate) to the superior rooms with balcony & sea view and larger bathrooms. Ahmet and the staff were perfect hosts. The Turkish breakfast is amazing, taken on the roof terrace overlooking the beautiful harbor of Kalkan, will definitely be returning.

Review 5：I stayed in Zinbad Hotel with a friend for a few days. Due to the fact that Kalkan is a small town I don't think one can make a mistake in choosing the best location to stay. The hotel is in the middle of pubs and outdoor clubs and hence we could not sleep until all the hullabaloo stopped which was after midnight anyway. Literally all the music and noise were in our room. The room was too small and claustrophobic and so did the bathroom. No proper facility to dry your clothes. I would not recommend to exchange money at the reception desk as they offer very low rate regardless the actual rate. I recommend conducting a simple market research with many shops and stores surrounding the hotel before you buy any activity or exchange money instead of contacting the hotel staff first as they don't offer a reasonable discount for their customers. The prices, in general, in Kalkan can easily compete with those of London.

Review 6：The service staff were moderately OK despite of their "leave me alone" attitude. The view from the roof, where we had breakfast, was great. Breakfast was OK with local foods. The hotel is close to a pebbly beach If you like. The receptionist can speak English.

Review 7：Unfortunately the night club was quite loud & went on till 3/3.30am not a problem for younger people but for the older resident a heads up would have been good. Also 3 people sharing a bathroom with no ventilation was not great.

Review 12：My room was very small enough for one person, no Marina views. You get a stunning Marina view while having breakfast at the roof top. The breakfast is excellent and a very rich and quality food. Lots of variety and fruits. Make sure to take your time and enjoy the scenery from the roof top. The Manager of the hotel is very polite and very nice so even though my room was very small and no Marina view I forgot about it as the Manager was very kind and helpful and professional.

Review 27：Hotel located in old town close to shops, restaurants bars etc. Very short walk to harbour , beach and bus stop. Hotel spotlessly clean, room lovely, shower / air con great. Plenty of storage and drying rack for wet towels. All staff friendly and helpful and view from terrace bar/restaurant amazing. Restaurant prices were good and food delicious. Review 28：I liked the location and hygene of the hotel most. We stayed for two days But couldnt have enough of kalkan and the lovely hotel. The staff was so helpful they even took us to a lovely beach (kaputas) by their own car. Room was so clean and the windows were soundproof , so we didnt get disturbed by the party around the hotel. Review 29：There was a concert going on, so we had some challenges parking nearby. Kalkan generally was not my favorite place (overrun with tourists), and once there, I wished we had found a vacation rental instead of a hotel - there are many. Zinbad was fine for what it is though.

Review 55：The first night we were in a room where we were disturbed by loud music. We know that level of noise did not put other guests off, so we are perhaps sensitive to this. It was no problem to get a room change to one that was quieter.

Review 57：A minor point.....Toiletries i.e. shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were supplied daily however soap was not supplied.......we bought our own hand wash so problem solved! A couple of times during our 11 night stay one of the bars played music till late. This didn't affect us much however if you are a light sleeper it may be an idea to bring ear plugs for those occasions.

Review 58：Our room was spacious and had a balcony which was nice. The room was kept spotlessly clean the entire stay. The staff were very friendly. The location was unmatched in the town and right by the port and old town with all its restaurants and bars. The terrace where breakfast was served had the most amazing views over the bay and port area. The breakfast was huge and although the basic breakfast remained the same each day some items changed daily to give enough variety. We would definitely stay here again!

Review 70：Hotel is in an excellent position near to the marina, easy to get to the beach . Some very good restaurants in the area, the restaurant at the hotel is also very good . The breakfast on the terrace every morning was lovely and well presented . Review 73：Bathroom is very small, sitting on the toilet puts your knees against the shower door. Watch the corners off the bed frames, they are sharp. The noise from all the night clubs can be heard in tour room until late at night.

Review 76：Noise is big problem. I don't mean noise coming outside in the night, as double glass windows and doors make very good isolation. I mean noise coming from bathroom and reception.You can hear your neighbors having shower and their conversation. You should close your bathroom door while sleeping. :) Even noise coming from reception can easily been heard. I think management should isolate or move reception as soon as possible. Best solution would be build a door between stairs and rooms. This solution also makes precautionary measures possible against fire, in case.

Not rude in any way, but indifferent, especially in restaurant, where food was also average. An extensive fish menu but only two items available?!

Our room was superb: spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable & a beautiful sea view to wake up to every morning-just perfect! As well as the wonderful view from our room, the hotel terrace boasted sensational views of the marina & exceptional food. Within a matter of minutes, you could reach the stunning marina front, sea, shops, bars & outstanding restaurants. Ahmet was really on the ball with replying promptly to any email queries & offered great advice about local services. This was our first time in Kalkan & won't be our last...& when we return, we will stay at Hotel Zinbad-thanks Ahmet!!

Review 84：Hotel Zinbad offered the best of everything: perfect distance from the beautiful Kalkan marina & wonderful facilities in every way imaginable! The owner, Ahmet, was the perfect host: welcoming, accommodating & very funny! When we arrived there was a slight issue with our room & the next morning Ahmet moved us to a more suitable room with a sensational sea view-we couldn't have asked for more!! Kalkan was the most beautiful place with spectacular sea views & a wealth of restaurants all offering outstanding food at unbelievably reasonable prices!! Everyone in Kalkan was overwhelming friendly including Ahmet & all of the Zinbad staff! Review 85：All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a good room overlooking the harbour. The room and whole hotel was extremely clean. We had several meals on the terrace watching the boats come into the harbour, stunning views. The food was excellent, especially the chicken with spinach sauce.

Breakfast: Turkish breakfast includes tomatoes and cucumbers. There were 3.5 cherry tomatoes for two of us. Disappointing for the price you pay for that room. Value: Not worth the money you spend. Either spend a bit more and opt for something better or find better value, look elsewhere, which is what we did after two nights. There are better places in Kalkan.

Please note though this is not a place to go if you have trouble walking. It is biult on the side of a hill and some of the roads are very steep. Howevber I have never meet such a friendly race of people. They just couldn't do enough for you and made you feel so welcome in their country.

Staff were very friendly and helpful in this family run hotel - think here a home away from home, very comfortable bedding with good linen, modern roomy bathroom, spotless cleanliness and comfortable rather than designer presentation. The staff are all super friendly, helpful and well- intentioned with an amiable, laid-back vibe. The food in the restaurant is well worth trying especially if you can negotiate local delicacies such as char-grilled local octopus so fresh and beautifully cooked it will melt in the mouth, or the fresh fish of the day served in either western or Turkish manner. From this location it is easy to visit the beaches each day - and one is never bored in odd moments, the town and its food, coffee and shops simply require stepping out-of-doors.
