Review 1：Sweetfields Manor is possibly the best place I have stayed, world wide, and there have been a few. The staff were so friendly & helpful, the breakfasts were amazing. We looked forward to going to bed so we could wake to another treat. It was a nice walk to the gorgeous Carlisle beach where we were able to relax or enjoy water sports & food was great. I would highly recommend it here.

Review 2：The Sweetfield Manor is not your typical hotel or Bed & Breakfast. This place is an experience in itself. You feel like distant royalty coming to stay with the king when you're lead in through the beautiful gated entrance and faced with their extensive garden, lawn and relaxing outdoor seating and stone pathways. The first thing I did was explore the beautiful house and grounds, I hadn't even explored Barbados yet and I already was snapping photos. That is how beautiful this place is. You will feel the same about your room, everything is high quality, everything looks new, everything looks customized, they have paid attention to every detail.The staff are beyond courteous, I myself made instant friends with everyone I encountered. There was an issue with my card where they weren't able to scan it properly for a few days. They didn't sweat me about it at all, where as in American/European facilities I am sure the reaction would be different (it worked out fine in the end of course). Listen to their advice, they won't lead you to any tourist traps, they know where the good food is and where the awesome stuff is.All of the above is more than enough for the price. BUT. The breakfast... This is not a normal meal. Let me clarify for you, a professional chef with knowledge of the cuisine of dozens of countries is going to prepare a 4 course meal for you every single morning. You will be seated in different part of the house/outdoor areas each day so you can enjoy a new view each morning, while you are bombarded with five star gourmet food. No matter how late I stayed up I had an alarm set to ensure I didn't miss any of this AMAZING food. The meals were completely different each day. You will want to take pictures and remember this food, it is that good.I have one single neutral comment to make. This place is very quiet in a secluded part of the parish.

Review 5：The rooms did get a little stuffy even with air conditioning. Also - there is an additional 10% service charge on top of tax et al which booking.com didn't mention. By all accounts this is standard, but we weren't expecting the additional charge.

Review 6：As others have said - the breakfast is something very special. We also loved the outdoor space in our room, and the pool area. It also happened to be very quiet whilst we were there meaning it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing.

Review 10：Bookin.com advertised this hotel as an airport hotel - incorrect - it was a 15-20 drive! Hotel offered a hotel shuttle at the cost of $30, approved airport taxi charged $22.

Review 12：Stayed 1 night prior to the start of our cruise. Relaxed immediately after our warm greeting from Michelle and her Staff. We were offered a tasty and refreshing rum punch and tour of the Plantation House and grounds. The room (ask for the Captains Room!), gardens, pool and view were all beyond the photos. Had a great local dinner at Brown Sugar as recommended by Michelle and was met by Raoul and his taxi at the agreed time. Had a great sleep in the very comfortable King bed and arose to a fabulous 3 course breakfast overlooking the front garden from the drawing room. We requested a late checkout as our cruise left at 6pm and it was no problem. Michelle even drove us to town when she left on errands. She gave great tour along the way, dropping us in downtown Bridgetown. When we returned to the hotel many hours later, Our taxi was again waiting at the agreed time and we arrived at the terminal without a hitch. We loved the place and staff and felt like we had spent 24 hours from another time! Hope to return.
