Reviews for Comfort Inn Redwood City

Review 1:Could not get onto WiFi. Breakfast was bad. TV while a flat screen was not supported by the cable system very well. Pool was dirty.

Review 2:Room was cleaned daily

Review 3:The bathroom had a really weird smell and the air conditioner went out the second night and it was very uncomfortable. The desk clerk was very nosey watching everyone. Was creepy.

Review 4:Breakfast was decent.

Review 5:Good for an overnight stop, no restaurants or night life nearby.

Review 6:The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The wifi worked well. The cost was cheaper than other motels in the area.

Review 7:Did not honor the price that I paid through booking.com. Had to file a complaint in order to be reimbursed. Elevator out of service and I have bad knees that make climbing stairs difficult. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Review 8:Nothing

Review 9:The place is rundown. The first room I got was smelling of smoke (they changed me to another one). Breakfast is OK, but the room was filled with the smell of burned oil, which soaked into my clothes (beware if you have an important meeting in the morning). I asked the staff if they could prop the door open, and they instead opened the windows, because they didn't want random people to walk in off the street and eat breakfast. It's basically a rundown hotel, but somehow there just aren't good options in the Bay Area below $200/night.

Review 10:Conveniently located on El Camino Real, hassle-free check-in/out.

Review 11:The construction outside so made parking and getting in/out of drive way a bit troublesome but otherwise a great hotel!

Review 12:Very close to Stanford campus. Lots of shopping, restaurants close by. Friendly staff. Amply parking.

Review 13:We were pleased to stay at this nice facility for 4 nights. The staff was wonderful, very kind and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent. The rooms were clean but the grounds, windows and hallway dust webs could use more attention. We would recommend this hotel to stay at and would stay there again.

Review 14:Surrounding neighborhood not as nice as I would have preferred.

Review 15:Room spacious, comfortable & clean for 4 adults in one room. Staff helpful. Continental Breakfast was well stocked. Security steps taken by inn appreciated.

Review 16:Convenience

Review 17:Bathroom fan loud

Review 18:Breakfast

Review 19:To enter the motel proper one has to stand outside make the key workopen the door. There is no place to place the luggage in a clean spot.Problems with the Wi-fi were routine. There was terrible salsa songsevery weekend from nearby Mexican club

Review 20:Motel personnel are helpful and friendly. Place is near Mexicangroceries, Target, Subway, Starbucks, Laundry (a mini mall) Roomdecor was 60s.

Review 21:Hard to see the incoming traffic when you try to enter the street from the hotel, because the cars parking along the side of the street could block your view.

Review 22:very convenent location; it's the middle point of S. F airport and Stanford university/shopping center. very clean.

Review 23:Our first time in that city, had to go to Stanford. Found this hotel online read the reviews and thought the price was fair and the placelooked good in a picture. Boy that was all wrong. The staff was realnice no problem there, until we got in to the room big mistake the roomwas very dirty the darn little couch had old food and the bath room hadblack mold all over the ceiling the counter tops very all chipped andthe little frig. Ever time went to openthe hole unit fell forward. Thecarpets very all stained and dirty. I took pics. Just in case I had touse them. I could say more, but to ever reads this stay away from thisdump. My wife and I will stay some place a lot better. And the area werethis hotel is is really bad and very unsafe be careful.

Review 24:Staff that's all that was good.

Review 25:I was given a room early before the check-in time (12:30 pm) and told that the room waqs clean and ready to use. However, it was not cleaned. The bed was not made up and the towels were on the floor.

Review 26:Everything was fine, except the comment on what I didn't like.

Review 27:Entrance to the building from parking area. Even tho you needed a key card to enter---people were coming in right behind us and never had to use key card--never knew if they belonged there

Review 28:Location to Stanford University---the reason why we were in California--grand daughter was visiting Stanford

Review 29:Getting in and out of the parking lot onto a very busy street. The cars parked along the street created a viewing problem in watching for oncoming traffic in order to make a safe exit onto the road.

Review 30:Cleanliness of the room. The bed mattress was firm and comfortable, and the sheets were soft. The breakfast was very nice for the price - a cheese omlet or hard boiled eggs; sausage patty, toast, pastries, etc; cold cereal; juice and coffee - much more than one would expect for the price! A fridge and microwave in the room.

Review 31:Hotel is set up very oddly inside. Entrance to parking lot was not reall visible, we missed it and so did other people staying there I spoke to.

Review 32:The breakfast was great. Room had fridge and microwave and was large and comfortable.

Review 33:Breakfast is the same every day. This stay my room had a skylight, with no way to turn it off.

Review 34:The stove top in the suite was funky and had aluminum foil under the burners

Review 35:Loved the jacuzzi tub!

Review 36:The hotel seems to be new or remodeled recently since it has a lot of new bathroom fixtures, and new paint. Well done.

Review 37:Breakfast was good: eggs w/ cheese, sausage patties, yogurt, cereals, waffles, and an assortment of other food.

Review 38:It could of been a little cleaner

Review 39:It was close to Stanford University and a easy commute. The staff was very helpful

Review 40:Could not get on line and support people and front desk were of no hhelp

Review 41:Price and location

Review 42:Skylight in room.

Review 43:Very convenient location.

Review 44:Came to visit my dad, have stayed there before, it is good value for the money. Thanks.

Review 45:No fitness facilities - scruffy neighborhood

Review 46:It fit my price allowance and offered an adequate free breakfast.
