Review 1：If the hotel wants to be international 5-star standard, then a few"basics" need to be addressed, E.G. coffee at breakfast needsto be brought to the table and there needs to be choice over and above aNescafe machine, beach service (E.G. drinks, prepare sunbeds, looksafter clients) is non-existent and there is even a charge for sunbedsand umbrellas just like in a cheap resort (which is very annoying for aplace which claims to be upscale).

Review 3：- The room service was not as we expected - The towels and the sheets were not change daily and the couch was very dirty with many stains on it - was turned on the other side to not see that was dirty; the balcony was full of dead and alive bees;- We couldn't find a pharmacy in the whole resort or a pill for stomach pains;- The personal from the SPA was not very friendly - we've arrived at 18:00 PM at the SPA and we've left at 19:50 from the SPA (the program was between 8:00 AM and 20:00 PM) and they were not very happy that we've left the SPA at that hour; they were checking us in order to leave the place sooner and when we've left they didn't said "goodbye"; We've asked for someone to have a massage, but they told us that they were full and nobody was there, the place was empty, I think that in total we were max 6 persons;- When we've checked out we stayed a half an hour; the staff told us to wait until they made all the check ins even though the persons that wanted to check in, arrived after us;- When we made the check in, the personal from the reception told us to wait an hour because the check in is made after 12:00 AM, but when we've checked out were some tourists that arrived before 12:00 and they were not put on wait, an hour as we were;- When we made the check in there was no problem with the money, the receptionist didn't asked any question about the money, but when we left and made the check out, I was asked to pay the money, even though I've already paid since June this year, on booking, with the credit card so was a big misunderstanding regarding the money, I'm not sure why.

Review 5：While the breakfast was quite rich, decent coffee came at extra cost. Resort's private beach umbrellas costed a lot and we didn't use them, but this generated weird looks on the faces of the staff. In general, we overheard the staff to complain loudly from the management on multiple occasions, and once a customer speaking to these managers about various issues on and off the golf course. Not good.

Review 6：Spectacular coastal golf resort with beautiful cliffs and beaches. The apartment was very spacious, with a nice kitchenette and comfy bed. We had a nice stay despite the issues in the next section.

Review 7：There is nothing not to like about this resort. Beautiful scenery, peaceful quiet tranquillity. Staff are pleasant, hard working and customer focused. Food is of high quality and good value. A golf course to rival any and beaches up there with any in the world.

Review 10：-cleaness and maintance of the room were definitely below the standard of a 5-star hotel: cobwebs in the room/jammed drains/stained bedsheets -we booked a room with a seaview, but were not given one, neither informed before hand. Eventually we were moved half way of our stay -if you don't PAY for an umbrella/chaise longue, you are asked to move to an unguarded part of the beach(which made me feel as if I am second hand customer) -food in the Argata restaurant did NOT live up to the expectations(missing items from the menu/mediocre food)

Review 12：Bendida and Argata beach staff very unfriendly. Poor food. As a guest of the resort you have to pay for sunbeds, umbrellas and towels. Bendida beach restaurant can cease to serve food to guests as they have private events without prior notice even to the reception.

Review 14：There were a number of annoying things along the stay which overall spoiled our experience somewhat. First, when my parents arrived at 3 PM, they were asked to wait to check in as apparently the room still needed to be cleaned (although stated check in time is 2 PM). The next morning, we were 5 min late for breakfast as my fiancee and I arrived very late (4 AM). We got there when they were cleaning up and they refused to even serve us coffee, even though the coffee machine was just standing there. They said that if we want coffee we have to order and pay for it. Similarly, apparently beach umbrellas and chairs are extra to the room price & quite pricey. On top of that, there was an incorrect billing on my bill at the end,which they did not remove immediately (which is standard practice in any 5-star hotel), but had me wait for verification and ultimately I had to get the shift manager involved.

Review 15：The place itself is great (the cliffs are really beautiful) and the beach is very nice and peaceful, but you are far from anything else - there isn't really anything else close by in the area. The Argata beach is one of the nicest ones I have seen in Bulgaria. Apartment was clean and spacious, with huge balcony.

Review 16：The house keeping was very intrusive. On check out they stood by the door with the buckets and mops pushing us to hurry through their attitude. The feeling is not of a 5 stars resort therefore the prices are no match to the poor quality of the service.

Review 21：This resort is somewhat that I can call a hidden gem. Really! Staying in their spacious and lovely decorated apartments you get absolutely breath-taking views from your balconies or patios (over golf course and sea), fabulous beaches (far from to be crowded), personnel always ready to help. Everething was just great! Breakfast was also delicious, especially home-made pate .

Review 22：The service - the staff from the hotel were very unprofessional and rude! Lack of organisation. It took them an hour to check is in (we were a group of 12 people) and we were spread all over the resort. It takes ages to get a golf car to take you down to the beach or the beach restaurant. If you are going to the rest of the restaurants, just don't bother waiting. Breakfast was horrible - most of the food was gone by the time we arrived and when I asked them they said they don't have in stock. Their blender broke, so I couldn't mash my baby's purée. I just wonder what kind of a professional kitchen is that with only one blender!! The restaurants didn't have much variety of Bulgarian dishes and fresh fish. They told us that they supply the fish from Metro... The hotel has two beaches and the bigger one was overcrowded all the time, I can only imagine what was the small one like. They have to either not allow other guests from other places to go there or just extend the beach. We were fighting each day over sun beds and gazebos. Overall it's a great setting and location, but all the rest needs a lot of improvement before this hotel can claim a five star category!

Review 28：This resort is located in place of extraordinary beauty between to the mountain cliffs and the Black Sea. Gorgeous setting. The golf course is fantastic along side the side and cliffs. A one off experience. It has some of the most beautiful holes I´ve played (and I´ve played hundreds of golf courses in 6 continents over the years). We were delighted with the outdoor restaurant, its delicious dishes and efficient staff. Overall the resort is excellent, well worth the trip. I´ll definitively like to come again.

Review 31：For a resort to class as luxury in my opinion you need more than just the buildings. I believe you need attention to every detail and consistency of service across EVERY staff member, Thracian Cliffs is found lacking on both of these. We had visited with a view to look at buying an apartment here. I am glad we didn't. The common areas are in places very poorly maintained with broken tiles, chipped steps, dirty and torn poolside loungers, I could go on. No one thing a big deal but added together take the shine off the place. Similarly the staff were terribly inconsistent. A lot of them seemed to really not want to be there and lacked enthusiasm. There were a few notable exceptions to this but again further staff training wouldn't go amiss.

Review 33：The personnel is sometimes rude, not communicative, not helpful. The breakfast is around 3 stars level, not five. What came as unpleasant surprises during our stay, contrary to what you can read in their presentation: The umbrella and sunbeds on the beach are NOT included in the accomodation, you have to pay. The kitchen is fully functional only if you book for at least 10 days. And the cherry on the top: a real estate agent actually came into the appartment while we were staying there and showed the place to potential investors/buyers (?!)

Review 34：The small beach is excellent, very private and secluded. The resort itself is beautiful and stylish, a little dream village by the sea. The views of the sea and natural surroundings are great. The appartment is very spacious, nicely furnished, the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Review 35：I was highly surprised that I have to pay extra for hotel beach (aprox.13 EURO). The answer in Reception was that "sorry, but we just outsourced it". That was not the case last year.

For launch and dinner, you have to be very patient. It takes an eternity to have the food prepared, specially if it is a busy period of the day. The food is good, but not that good to wait for it so long...this is something they really need to improve because there is no alternative close to the resort.

Review 44：The position of the resort, the facilities and staff. It is a great place for golfers, with some of the most amazing views on a golf course. The beach is really incredible and you can't tell it is a Black Sea resort, it feels more exotic.

Actually i dont know for what they were coming daily but not to clean for sure. Transport to get to the beach you can wait for 40-50 min and there is no posdibility to get there with private car. Everyday hotel guests were complaining to stuff that its impossible to wait for beach shuttle for 45 min every day, but for 3 weeks that we spent there nothing changed. Actually stuff doesnt help much- they rarely were taking phone when u call to reception .

Review 55：A fully up-running and operating resort hotel, great for both golfers and beach-goers. Your beach tickets inclusive umbrella and lounge chair included in room price, just need to make a reservation. Service-minded people, ,can-do attitude´ and fast shuttle service everywhere. Nice swimming pools around the villas. The interior of the villa is designed in a nice Mediterranean style.

Review 56：An extremely disappointing place . Very poor service, staff was rude and totally lacking professionalism, not helpful, not attentive, not intelligent. The two Restaurants are very dirty, low quality food, lack of diversity, high prices, inconvenient working hours and again -very poor service. The beach is far away, the shuttle service is not good at all. The beach is dirty, the beach beds very old and the beach bar-restaurant is an absolute NO-GO place unless you want to get food poisoning and some infection because of the total lack of basic hygienic rules. We would never even consider going there again, was a horrable experience and the best thing about it is that we found a great place called Lighthouse nearby where we could escape and enjoy good food and service.

However, they do have some golf carts that are available at all times to transport guests in the resort. Staff serving at breakfast were extremely rude and slow. Review 65：Excelent accomodation with big and well equiped apartments, clean, very good for famillies with children. Excelent private beach, good wifi connection everywhere, loved the privacy and the facilities of the resort. Beautiful infinity pool with outstanding views over the golf courses.

Review 66：We had issues with the TV and the shower that were not resolved during our 3 day stay. Also, the resort is kind of isolated. There are a lot of nice places to visit nearby - Balchik, Kaliakra, Кavarna, but if you do not go there by car, you have to depend upon the resort provided transfer service to these places, and its availability.

Review 110：Due to the weather conditions the beaches were closed. The staff did not have the idea of compensating in a way the lack of this service (only after a specific request). The connection to the main road very affected by the weather conditions, making quite difficult the access to the resort. wi-fi not that good.

Review 111：The hotel is a nice one, even though some changes from year to year expected. All the amenities available. The new chef having Micheline stars. Italian menu highly recommended.

Review 112：No proactive communication: we had to wait close to 30 min once for the red "buggy" to take us to the beach. We inquired multiple times of eta and were always told "2 min". Same thing happened when we ordered a taxi. It was 30 min late and when we called, we learned "it had to take another urgent customer". Well, a little headsup would have been appreciated. Also, there is no bar per se, where it would have been nice to be able to socialize with the other guests (or even watch the World Cup games).

Review 113：Location. Spectacular views. Spacey suit, great service at the beach bar and restaurant. Amazing private beach (bendida), not sure about the other one, as we were told it's only for owners. Servers did really go far and beyond to provide excellent service (though a bit slow at times). Food was good too and prices very reasonable/low by western standards. I will definitely come back, it's one of the most luxurious and exclusive places I've seen in BG and definitely to recommend. It was peaceful, relaxing and I would have loved to stay longer.

Review 115：The description is very misleading. This is not a hotel. These are time-share properties offered for rental by respective owners. In fact at the time of check in I was offered to buy the unit I will be staying in. Whilst the unit is called suite on booking.com, these are simply poorly furnished apartments with only car access to the room from the front desk. There is absolutely nothing to do after sunset. It gets extremely dark and in fact scary at night. Feels like a ghost town. No beach. What made it worse is that the only dinning facility in the hotel was shut down cz the chef was ill!! Good luck finding any close by restaurants outside. Absolutely don't recommend it at this stage.

Review 117：We were on a repetead stay, willing to celebrate one member of the family, as we very much enjoyed our first stay (last year). The surprise came when a few days in advance the reservation was changed (without notice) from Marina Village to the Uphill villas. In order to avoid surprises mainly due to overbooking, ask the hotel to confirm the reservation as per your request (add booking in copy to be sure that you receive a reply). Unfortunately despite of the beauty of the place, the landscape, things very much changed this year (including the food at the restaurant on the beach), for worse.

Review 121：Fantastic location on the hills above Black Sea, sensational views ofthe golf course and the sea from the Hillside villas. Luxuriouslyfurnished apartments, spacious and comfortable, we had a big balcony anda two bedroom apartment (although the booking was for one bedroomapartment), perfectly appointed kitchen. Very good service, tasty andrich breakfast, the coffee we appreciated especially. The golf coursedoes not need any recommendation, it is probably the most beautiful inEurope, manicured and offering great views. The Bendida beach was alsosurprisingly good for a Black Sea beach. Argata beach was fully bookedthe whole time we were there, so I cannot say anything about it. We didnot try the spa, because we did not have enough time, but we will returnsurely in Thracian Cliffs.

Review 122：The staff were incredibly rude and the food was very poor. This is definitely not a five star resort or even four. Based on the attitude of the staff, we would never go to the Thracian Cliffs again or recommend it to any of our friends.
