Review 1：well I didn't know roach motels really excised until at 5am woke up to my daughter screaming with roaches crawling on her face.. This place should be closed down health hazard definitely.

Review 9：While traveling with my girlfriend and my mother. The first room smelled of marijuana, and toilet would not flush, was given another to move our already unpacked luggage to another room that sink or tub would not drain. Box spings were broken and bed rails not even put together right to hold box springs. And ROACHES!! Everywhere!! Then asked for assistance and was told by Anthony the manager on duty that there was nothing he could do for me. He gave me a third room and it as well smelled of marijuana. I strongly do not recommend Ashlan Inn.
Review 10：This place was disgusting. There were fecal stains, vomit stains and cigarette burns. The shower curtain only covered half the shower so the bathroom was perpetually flooded. The microwave was barely plugged into a hanging power strip, major for hazard. Prostitute was next door, too.
Review 11：When I arrived with my 14yr old granddaughter, we were told the pool was closed (Fresno has hot weather, in the 100s). Reason, workers walked out. It was deserted, the outside was unclean, urine smell. I peeked into the room, that was neat and o.k. but there was an eerie sense about this place. Manager said they were getting a big group in later on...I wondered. I had made reservation for 2 nights, and after looking around deserted property, decided was not going to subject my granddaughter to her first hotel/motel experience. It didn't feel right. We came from San Francisco to meet my 3-day old granddaughter. The beginning of our trip was not a positive one, therefore, we checked into a nicer place. Manager told me they'd give us a different room, it wasn't the room, it was the overall appearance, the uncleanliness and no pool (water in pool was green). It had changed hands from the Quality Inn and perhaps they were going to refurbish and clean it all up, but they should not sell it to guests the way it is presently. Manager was not going to even credit the second night. I was willing to forgo the first night, but he was adamant. He said I should contact Booking.com and they would be the ones to reimburse or credit me the charges.
