Review 1：I've stayed in several motels in this chain, and this was the worst, by far. Granted, it was also the cheapest. Bad neighborhood. Door had clearly been kicked in, since it was very loose in the frame, and the latch was broken.

Review 2：Inebriated guy in the parking lot provided entertainment while being forced to wait outside to check in. Oh, and the carpet in my room was pretty new. And it was big.

Review 3：Door lock to enter the room was terrible. If u had an emergency u would be screwed, i had to go reactive keys twice during my stay. To unlock took like 5 minutes. People walking at all times. Police sirens. Sorry to say but, many homeless people wandering on the property and sleeping under the staircase.

Review 5：I Picked this hotel as an affordable place to go to a family wedding. Nice people at the concierge desk although I was surprised when $50 deposit for the possible room damages was requested. Room was smelly. Very limited breakfast choices. A bit noisy as the HWY is very close ..kind of noisy at night to sleep. The bathtub was very dirty..needs replacement. The tv was the old box one and the picture very bad..it needed a new cable

Review 7：I became a value club member and asked for the Jacuzzi tub upgrade. Well, after being placed in over 5 rooms within 3 days, it became apparently clear that none of the so called Jacuzzi tubs worked. The jets could not be activated due to motors being removed. They also lied and said we stained a wash cloth and a medium towel so I was charged $25. They are a rip off!

Review 9：I dońt care about poor breakfast but I never met homeless in the hotel at the breakfast. At the other hand he has enjoyed it. Unfortunately we, and few other guesst not.

Review 10：They don't fix things. For example, I reported a toilet flush valve that doesn't close reliably and therefore wastes water. I stayed in the same room a week later and nothing had been done. Housekeeping staff either has no checklist or can't follow it reliably.

Review 11：Managers at front desk are friendly and responsive. WiFi works well now. They seem to have switched to a much better internet service provider.

Review 23：We got a big room for a very affordable price, even though it was a last minute booking. The room is very comfortable and spacious. I like how there was a sliding glass door to enter to the pool side of the motel too. The staff at the front desk was very friendly also.

Review 30：when we got to our room we first noticed that the smell was a bit off. Then we saw several dead cockroaches on the floor and a big mark in the carpet with some glass shatter around it and that wasn't even the worst part. When we saw the kitchen counter there was some crumpled up paper with false teeth lying there beside them. I don't even want to imagen the the scenario of how they ended up there. No one can even have been in our room after the last person checked out. We where both really tiered and this was miles from what we expected and what we wanted after a long day. We talked to the person in the reception and she first told us you where fully booked but after making a call she managed to find one room we could use. We noticed directly that was a smoking room. Since none of us where smokers we had specifically booked a none smokeing room. We also noticed that you couldn't flush the toilet. Luckily before we "left" something in it. It was now past midnight and we didn't feel we had any other choice than to stay in that room anyway. We talked to the receptionist and said we wanted some kind off refund since we didn't get what we paid for. She wrote it down and said we had to wait until the morning for the manager to get there to decide about what to do. The next morning right after breakfast we talked to receptionist working then and informed us that the manager had "just left" and the only thing we could do was to leave or number so she cloud call us. But she never did. I later filed a complain on there website and did get a full refund.

Review 31：Considering the name of accommodation I expected something better. Afterarrival we had troubles with room key (doesn't work), so thereceptionist had to move us to another room. Few items of roomsitinerary was missing and after announcing this fact to receptionist,she told us it is ok.

Review 63：The WiFi connection and the internet connection behind it kept dropping out. Sometimes the WiFi dropped out and sometimes The Wifi was solid but the internet connection was down. The housekeeping staff cannot be relied upon to replenish depleted supplies. This time they failed on two consecutive days to provide a decaf coffee packet after I had used the.one provided when I checked in.

Review 65：When I turned on the television the screen was static. No station would come in. When I tried to call the front desk the phone did not work. I called them on my cell. I was told a work order would be issued. I was gone most of the next day. When I returned, neither of the issues had been fixed

Review 69：One one of the three days, for no discernible reason, my room was not cleaned. When you check in, you need to check the room very thoroughly. You need to make sure the air conditioning works and isn't excessively noisy. If you need an internet connection, you need to make sure the Wifi and the internet connection are working. If there's anything will want to see on TV, you need to check the reception on the channels that are important to you, as reception on them may be terrible or non-existent.

Review 71：The room and bathroom was dirty. I left with flea bites the next morning and ended up doing extensive treatments to get rid of them. The location was terrible with noisy patrons in neighboring rooms arguing, cursing and banging doors throughout the night. The property outside the rooms was very dirty and smelled of urine in the parking lot and in the walkways. Never again.

She had obviously read the notes in the reservation which would have given her clues to my identity and therefore knew who it was coming through the door. The bedding doesn't fit a king bed. Maid service only every other day. It just needs some help to bring it back to life again.

Room was ok except for ridiculous motion sensor lights in the toilet and shower. Really? What were they expecting you to do on the toilet to keep the light on?

Review 120：It is really bad. Noisy, a train passes by really close. Unsafe neighborhood. The bedrooms are really old and bad looking. The carpet is really really old, I don't know if it was dirty or just old. Bathroom is scary: I didn't want to shower there.

Review 121：The hotel is really bad. The only good thing is the price, really cheap. It is only ok if you are just passing by, arrive late and just want to sleep for a couple of hours; and want to spare money. It has breakfast, that is positive.

Review 122：The Motel is old and need a lot of restoration. The cleanliness is not acceptable. In the drawers we have found old things from the previous guests like medicines bottle and old childrens things. The toilet is ugly. Breakfast is ok and the swimmingpool is small.

The deadbolt would not engage into the slot in the door frame, even after several attempts. Because the door was not secure for the night I felt uneasy. Review 135：It's about 3 km from Amtrak Station, would be far for people who doesn't have a car and plan to arrive by train, and also . . there's no bus can take you from the station to this hotel. But, if you are able to walk this far, you will find a very good value of your stay in Merced.

Review 136：The room was clean and comfortable for our stay in Merced. Breakfast was include, lot of choice for a good start of the day, which is good for our budget travel in USA.

Review 137：Bed looked unmade. The sheets did not fit the bed (too mall). The blanket provided was rough and looked like it was for a baby's crib. The request for a replacement provided us with two similarly small blankets that were soft. Questionable neighborhood. Hard to find location.
