Reviews for Old Estate Hotel & SPA
Review 1:I don't understand why Russian hotels tend to have more twin rooms than doubles but Old Estate was one of them. Beds in twin rooms are narrow, not the best option if you like to turn in bed during the night. The design of the rooms and the common areas could be better if they position themselves as a 4* hotel.
Review 2:Excellent location close the Pskov Kremlin and the river. The hotel is located in a beautiful 19-century building (although renovated in such way that you can hardly see it). The staff was friendly and helpful. The first room they gave me was a bit gloomy so they showed my other options and I chose another room. Breakfast was good as well as the food in the hotel bar Rublev.
Review 3:We were disappointed to find out that use of the pool and facilities are only free from 0700-1100 in the morning. Otherwise, there is a fee for using the pool and facilities.
Review 4:Helpful staff, ambiance, location.
Review 5:Very disappointed that the staff had nothing to encourage the traveler. We were there to look at the sites in the town and they were totally unaware of what was available. Could not even tell us how long it would take to used a taxi to the train station or the cost.
Review 6:Denis in the dining room was brilliant. With little English he went out of his way to assist with questions we put to him.
Review 7:The SPA charges a fee to hotel guests for the pool after 12pm.
Review 8:Friendly staff, swimming pool,
Review 9:Luxury service
Review 10:The hotel made our trip to Pskov very peasant. The Rublev Bar was very pleasant to eat and the service in this restaurant was excellent. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
Review 11:Our room looked out on the river which was very pleasant. Additionally the sauna/pool area was free for guests till 11 am. Also a guarded parking lot for cars.
Review 12:good hotel--nice pool area and free until 11 am for guests---our room had a river view and was very pleasant. I also took advantage of the spa and was pleased with that.
Review 13:Misunderstanding in the restaurant - they have two dishes with the same name but different price. If you don't finger the exact dish but just say the name they bring the expensive one (four times more expensive).
