Reviews for Executive Inn & Suites Sacramento
Review 1:Our neighbors left their tv on till 2:30 am. The ice machine wasn't working. Some of the drinks tasted warm instead of cold at breakfast.
Review 2:Fridge and microwave in the room.
Review 3:We had a very nice stay for a very good deal at this hotel. The only problem we had was the room smelled slightly like smoke. I wanted to make sure we were not charged for this as it is very expensive if they think you smoked in You room. The staff was very friedly and offered to move us but that wasnt necessary so she made a note so we would not be charged. Very nice stay
Review 4:A little farther from airport. They did not offer complimentary airport shuttle.
Review 5:The room had everything one needed for a quick overnight for an early AM flight.
Review 6:The Lady At The Front Desk Is very Rude and Unprofessional . ! and thecleaning ladies come to your door be4 11am trying to rush you out of theroom .. . . . & there rooms arnt that clean . but the worst part ofall was how rude there staff was. . . . she should really work on hercustomer service or she should get fired !!!
Review 7:I Liked That They Have a soda machine!
Review 8:The Lady At The Front Desk Was very very very rude !! She is so unprofessional and should really work on her customer service. Also They Dont Clean The Rooms Very Well . . . when i cleaned the room there was so much dust and dirt . it made me think that the cleaning ladys arent doing there job !!
Review 9:I Liked That They Accepted Cash ., and that the deposit was cheaper than other hotels.
Review 10:The room was noisy - The hotel is located next to a major highway. The toilet seat needed to be replaced. The room next to mine was occupied by hillbillies who between the hours of 1:00AM and 2:00AM argued loudly and slammed doors which kept me awake. .
Review 11:The room was clean. The price was good. plenty of parking.
Review 12:There was nothing i could think of i didnt like except that I had to Leave and return home.
Review 13:The Hotel has Spacious Rooms that gives a comfort with every stay.I love they have refrigeraters and a delicious breakfast.
Review 14:staff very rude dont recomend this hotel at all americas best value and other right next to it way better and cheaper also there tvs have like 3 channels to watch its a joke
Review 15:the rooms are decent i guess
Review 16:The room was fairly cean however the toilet seat was badly worn with paint peeing, the to wels were worn and hard. Most of the electrical outlets were very worn and couldn't accomodate my electrical cords. Breakfast was the pits. Overly bananas, weak coffeeand overal unappealing
Review 17:Nothing.

Review 19:The roons were nice an clean for ur money its good thy do got sumhiding charges there was alit of homeless down the street but tgatsevery place u go
Review 20:Worrying neighbourhood with homeless people everywhere, shocking to see in a developed country?
Review 21:Great room, bit of road noise but not a problem. Value for money.
Review 22:-toilet and sink are clogging up so I had to wait till the water drain before rinsing hands and face. -the freeway is nearby, so you can hear the road at all time. -breakfast meals is just plain, nothing fresh except juice and coffee. -I didn't like the cleaning service staff who knocked on my door for asking if i was leaving for check-out at 10:50AM! She need to know that the checkout time is 11AM. That was rude of her for just kicking us out! I went to the desk front service (other staff) as I was going to say something but she kinda gave me an attitude so I decided to just return the key card and leave. Unhappy, really.
Review 23:- When I checked in, I wasn't happy to the first room that was reserved. The next door was loud, nonstop so I had to ask the desk front service to transfer me to another room. I like that she deliver of my needs. The bed was comforting. The price of the hotel was fair, so was the breakfast. I love the guava juice. That's really refreshing my day.
Review 24:Located in a fairly bad area but there were no problems.
Review 25:Leak in bathroom from room above. Manager quickly put us in another room. Staff was very nice. Room was not horrible. Bed was very comfortable.
Review 26:They accused me of smoking and clearly I do not smoke try to take my $50 deposit also was a young couple arguing with them over similar things police was in lobby and all when I came from breakfast also witness then refuse to let a guy re rent his room the desk was very unprofessional a young girl security came I end up getting my $50 deposit back but I would never stay there ever again stay at your own risk
Review 27:Bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard as a rock if not harder; the air unit had only three settings (fan, cold, and hot) and no temperature control; the water pressure in the shower was low and difficult to wash in; wireless network routinely turned on and off; breakfast could be considered fasting; walls were so thin you could hear more than most places; parking was very cramped and narrow, with plant life also making it more difficult to park without scratching the vehicle; and that doesn't include the concerns of how many homeless people were hanging around that specific area.
Review 28:Closeness to the freeway
Review 29:Staff (particularly Tina ) was very rude. Didn't receive accommodations we requested when booking the room. TV channels were very limited and the ones they offered either didn't have sound or blanked out to direct on demand which you couldn't order. We asked for a receipt upon checking in and was told we didn't need one. When checking out we still couldn't get a receipt reflecting that we were credited a nonsmoking deposit that was on a different card. After a short dispute we were called racists which is absurd because between the two of us we are mixed with several different races and nothing came up in the conversation about race. We just wanted a receipt. Then we were told if not getting a receipt was going to be a problem they would have refused service to us.
Review 30:Spacious room , location was close to restaurants and downtown.
Review 31:AC was running when checked in, made the room very comforting. Sacramento was over 105 that day. I hate hot hotel rooms, the AC made the room feel like home.
Review 32:I needed to get to the convention center, and asked if there was a bus to get me there. I asked if there was a shuttle, or a bus map I could use. The staff not only said they didn't know when the bus came, but directed me to the gas station across the street and said I should ask them about the bus instead. I don't ask for much, but I feel like a hotel staff that knows the area, and how to get around it, is mandatory. The TV was also very fuzzy, and the location next to a busy street made for a less than perfect sleep.
Review 33:The room was spacious, and the fridge actually kept my food very cold. The kitchen-style sink was nice as well.
Review 34:My room smells cigarettes although it's a non smoking room. When I called the front desk. Said the ashtray is located outside our rm,he sprayed deodorize but still smells bad.You need to locate that far away from your facility. Since smoking is ban mostly in California.Your breakfasts add eggs and sausage. .
Review 35:The Free WiFi
Review 36:Neighborhood, homeless people living on street right outside the building. An entire suite of furniture squeezed into a regular sized motel room.
Review 37:Location
Review 38:I CAN HONESTLY SAY THIS WAS THE BEST MOTEL EXPERIENCE THAT IVE HAD... I KNOW THAT I GOT MORE THAN MY MONEYS WORTH. IF YOU WAN T SOMEWHERE TO FEEL COMFORTABLE AND ALMOST LIKE HOME... THIS IS THE PLACE!
Review 39:The staff was very rude. Checking in I was recited the rules in an abrupt manner as if I was an image. At midnight I was awoke by manager because someone said they were my visitor. Which was not true. When I checked out I was accused of smoking on balcony and threatened with penalty if smoke was detected in room. Many problems with transients and management treats visitor as if they are one. Will not return.
Review 40:The rooms and decor are a bit old and dated.
Review 41:Very good for the price, comfy king beds, they upgraded us to a suite for no extra fee, friendly knowledgeable staff and the location was perfect for us as we were traveling through on the I-5, it was right next to the highway so we got on our way quickly and easily in the morning.
Review 42:The rooms are in the process of being updated, and unfortunately we had an older model television and not a flat screen.
Review 43:Very clean and spacious room, and a very friendly staff.
Review 44:Well what I didnt like but I understand, staff had no contril ova was there was raccoons running around the parking lot at nite.
Review 45:I loved the ova all stay at the executive, truly enjoyable.
Review 46:was on second floor asked for first floor elevator was hot and room was in isolated back area
Review 47:Good size room with seperate seating area and basic necessities iron hairdryer refrigerator
Review 48:Refrigerator door in room was difficult to close. Shower was hot & cold while bathing, yeck!
Review 49:Friendly front desk and was able to check in 1 hour earlier! Clean, comfortable! I had a restful sleep there!
Review 50:Loud highway noise. Kind of shaddy place and corner. Some homeless people by streets. I was afraid something was going to happen to my car. Slight smell of cigarettes when coming into the room. No automatic ac.
Review 51:Price was good and room was semi-big compared to others
Review 52:The lady who works daytime during the week is very rude, impolite, discourteous, offensive, disrespectful, crude, inconsiderate, and ignorant! She made the trip uncomfortable and unpleasant I couldn't relax to save my life. Never again!!!
Review 53:That you don't need a credit card to stay. The price was great for the rooms and location.
Review 54:There is an interesting assortment of local wildlife milling about. The freeway sounds like it is right outside your door
Review 55:Cute little property near downtown and a park north of town. The breakfast room is a clever way to go.
Review 56:I don't like how the woman at the front desk is constantly RUDE! and not slightly I mean, incredibly! I've stayed here once before and had the same problem. If you are going to be expecting your deposit back be ready for her to try and keep it!
Review 57:I like the low rate on booking.com. honestly, I wouldn't have paid more.
Review 58:Went to eat breakfast at 8:00am. Almost nothing left,no milk for cereal. No staff available to refill. I will never stay here again. Very dirty facility.
Review 59:not very close to city centre if wanting to explore on foot
Review 60:friendly staff, large room with kitchenette and seating area, location handy for freeways, McDonalds and Dennys close by
Review 61:It seemed a bit pricey, however in the end we really liked the facilities, beds, cleanliness, and location.
Review 62:We enjoyed spending time with family and friends for a family wedding. The pool was lovely. The breakfast was good.
Review 63:the area is not the greatest. alot of homeless people in the area. construction next door.
Review 64:for an older motel was kept up pretty well. staff was friendly.
Review 65:Had to mend the toilet which needed basic maintenance, no power at all to the kitchen area and no way of getting behind to find a plug. Pain peeling. Needed some tlc shame none had been offered.
Review 66:It was cheap
Review 67:The first room was king size non-smoking but upon opening the door clearly you could smell smoke like cigar smoke or something. The front desk switched the room quickly with no hassle though. No late check out.
Review 68:The room was quite clean. It was fairly quiet. Breakfast was continentaL but ok. Friendly helpful young woman at the front desk.
Review 69:We spend good time here, we arrive very late, but staff remain smile and offer us two rooms and extra one room free as we are three persons but no two queen beds room, very good service and the beds are soft to sleep.
Review 70:The staff not asking if we wanted to pay with booking card or choose another form of payment. Plus, $50.00 deposit fee we wouldn't see for 3-5 business days.
Review 71:Remodeling & gradual update from a Super 8. Breakfast center is spacious, private & clean with a lot of seating.
Review 72:The front desk people were rude and unfriendly. The area of town that it is located is unsavory. Very loud with location right off the Garden Hwy. Beds feel like you are sleeping on a rock.
Review 73:That it was within a 10 minute drive of the Sleeptrain Arena.
Review 74:Right off of the freeway, close to downtown, very clean, well maintained property. Free parking, breakfast service every morning, and the staff was polite.
Review 75:there was alot of noise at night, you could hear all of the water running from the other rooms the bed wasn't very comfortable..
Review 76:the room was clean and smelled clean and also the hotel location.
Review 77:The bathroom was falling apart, too cramped in there. Water took 10 minutes to warm up. The light for the room was on a timer at door. Wake up call failed to come.
Review 78:Seating area was nice but could not see the TV from there. Had a refrigerator and work desk. Microwave and coffee in room.
Review 79:Unfriendly staff, borderline rude. Not very good breakfast selection. Area isn't desirable.
Review 80:Nice rooms. Sometimes really good rates. If you need to do laundry, affordable.
Review 81:I can't complain too much because of the relatively low price, but if I were to complain, here goes: This is an Old Super 8 in a sketchy neighborhood. A homeless guy was digging in the dumpster as I arrived. I realized pretty quickly that this motel is really falling apart. The room is dark with strange smells and noises, the bed had old synthetic covers, the bathroom sink didn't work properly, the microwave didn't work at all, the fridge froze everything, and the "breakfast" was either bread or processed pastries. Probably will not be staying there again.
Review 82:I booked this motel because it was convenient to the airport and was quite cheap compared to other nearby motels.
Review 83:Location sucks, in a shady little dead end. The only thing nearby is a McDs and a Dennys. There's bums everywhere too. No one really bothered me, but I know people don't like that.
Review 84:Big room for the price Stand alone breakfast room Right by expressway
Review 85:It's really a Super 8 in disguise. Dated. Breakfast very basic and served in an unheated room.
Review 86:Convenient to I-5. Clean. Pleasant folks at reception. Bagavad Gita in the room! Price.
Review 87:The management is unwilling to assure his 'care of duty' as is standard in the us.
Review 88:The room was spacious and comfortable. It was nice to have the little sitting area apart from the bedroom area. It had everything we needed ans then some. The staff were friendly and the breakfast room was open early and was very nice. We will stay here again.
Review 89:Bathtub/shower was slow to drain.
Review 90:General Manager Barry was Great! We checked in VERY late, he gave us a late check out! He was also EZ to deal with regarding our late arrival and with parking our car there while we were in Hawaii.
Review 91:the only problem we had was the electric panel for the vanity was not working so no light no hair dryer or plugs were working.
Review 92:the room was clean comfortable and large. the staff at the front desk was accommodating and pleasant. I was surprised at the size of the room. the décor was pleasant.
Review 93:I felt like I was sleeping in an old druggy motel. The bed was horrible, the room stunk of stale cigarette smoke, and I was awoken to semi trucks driving by through out the night that sounded like they were about to come into the room.
Review 94:The staff was rude. After we paid cash with a deposit they put us down as a no show and tried to charge our card. This was done by the night manager who was the one who checked us in. The mattress was like some flop house as it cratered in the middle and my wife and I were smoothed together in this hole. The shampoo was in a packet similar to a ketchup pkg. the room smelled like body odor. It was the worst place we have ever stayed.
Review 95:The morning front desk lady was the rudest person I've ever had to deal with. I was sick for a couple days during my stay and my girlfriend tried to bring some food back to me from the continental breakfast (I was bed-ridden). The morning front desk lady (she refused to give me her name later) was so rude to her about it that she made my girlfriend cry. The door to my room was broken and would only open if you pulled the handle up, and only after about three tries. When I suggested that my door was broken she made it seem like I was stupid for not guessing that I had to try three times then pull the handle up. She then proceeded to berate me about my girlfriend taking food out of the breakfast room (she put it back by the way). I had a visitor to my room, and ten minutes after he got there, the same lady called my room and made me kick him out. When we finally left, the lady took my deposit and insisted that I had smoked in the room (I can assure you I most definitely did NOT smoke in the room). All'n'all, she turned what could've been an enjoyable experience into a horrible one, she effectively ruined my vacation to Sacramento. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Review 96:The cleaning lady was nice...
Review 97:Parking was terrible. Being handicap I'd rather been on second or third floor as to have to walk the distance to my room luggling my baggage. No carts available. Unable to park outside of my room. Bathroom smelled of Marijuana as if someone had been smoking in the bathroom before our arrival. Breakfast nook wasn't kept restocked. Out of fruit while we were there. Hot water only lukewarm. Bed very springy & poky in spots.
Review 98:Closeness to Women's conference at Sleep Train Arena. Size of room.
Review 99:Still felt like a Super 8. Room had a "tired" appearance. Cracked tiles and missing grout in bathroom. Burn mark on toilet seat.
Review 100:Close to the freeway. Room was clean. Adequate parking. Expanded continental breakfast
Review 101:A terrible location. A dozen street people camped outside our door. We were uneasy going out for a walk as there were so many poor and street people wandering around. The hotel was clearly a 2 star. Advertised waffles were toaster waffles. Two small thin towels in the bathroom. Very disappointed
Review 102:Not much.
Review 103:Sink in kitchenette was clogged. Electric outlet for coffee did not work. Coffee pot parts were a mixture of different makes and did not work.
Review 104:Room was clean and well laid out. Wifi was excellent. Staff was efficient.
Review 105:The place isn't perfect when it comes to things that amenities would be a nice adjustment like the breakfast. WiFi is okay but has service lapse issues.
Review 106:We love the grounds and the rooms. We have come to know the staff and they are helpful when needed but they also allow room for privacy. The place is evolving and it seems to be able to offer great rates.
Review 107:beware in that it's next to the highway/freeway (uk motorway) constant traffic going by 24-7 so noisy outside
Review 108:Good clean hotel v close to airport, large space rooms value for money Didnt have breakfast as departed early for flight
Review 109:I didn't like the fact that it said breakfast included and it was complimentary breakfast. It was our first time traveling to Sacramento and I thought breakfast meant eggs, meat, bot ego waffles i was a little disappointed with that, but my overall experience was nice
Review 110:Unfortunately, the cleanliness left something to be desired. My first night in the room there was used soap in the shower, the toilet wasn't cleaned (I won't tell you how I know this), hair on the bed that wasn't mine...I had just walked in...and huge clumps of mud on one side of the bed. And the elevator dinged all night long...3 times for every pass to be exact, so I had to sleep with the tv on. The second night was a little better b/c they actually cleaned the room but my first impression was already soiled.
Review 111:The location was convenient, Wi-Fi speed was excellent, and the staff was very friendly.
Review 112:I asked right at 0930 on sunday of I could get a danish because all food except cereal was gone and was told "no we closed at 930". I asked for extra towels and then they took them when they cleaned and didn't leave more. And no shampoo, no conditioner. Very basic.
Review 113:Bed was clean but room was old and needed some updating.
Review 114:The night we spent there had some other guests that were conducting chariot races in the room above us. Also in an adjoining room was someone who couldn't stop making contact with the walls.
Review 115:I liked the rates, and the relative closeness to the airport while not having to go deep into Sacramento
Review 116:Parking was limited and so was local places to eat.
Review 117:value! Excellent cost for what you receive. Well worththe money compared to anywhere I stayed in the past year.
Review 118:Bit of a walk to the city centre. We were told by one person on reception that they had washing power, but then when we went to buy it, they didnt sell it Breakfast is very basic
Review 119:Very close to Discovery Park (where we were going during our visit). Washing facilities Some staff where helpful Large room
Review 120:At night it was scary , it seems like there was a prostitution business going on. Around the bend is the police station, homeless shelters and people sleeping all over the sidewalks. I didnt feel safe.
Review 121:The rooms were a nice size and clean.
Review 122:Some noise from unit above at night but didn't keep me up.
Review 123:Room appeared to have been updated recently, very clean and appealing. More then I expected for this price range. Staff were very nice. Parking area was very well lighted.
Review 124:Well, we saw that we could walk from there to the old city of Sacramento, by the river. It's true, but during the night, it's not the most reassuring stroll... But we managed :)
Review 125:We had the possibility to do a laundry (cheap, and they gave us washing powder), the room was big, breakfast good.
Review 126:My Sacramento colleagues tell me that this part of town is where the homeless "live" so maybe not the best spot to be if you don't have a car.
Review 127:Comfortable bed. Room was OK. Breakfast was good.
Review 128:1-Request room on floor but they did not have only 3rd floor and the Elevator was out of order. Wife and Sister have health issues so walking up to 3rd floor was difficult. 2-Construction next door made a business meeting online difficult with pounding pile drive shaking floor. 3-Reported Remote for TV needed batteries and desk said they did not have any 4-People parked in car next to me smoking POT. When told front desk she said she could not do anything about it.
Review 129:Clean room and comfortable bed
Review 130:All the staff were very friendly except for the older lady who I assume is the assistant manager. She never smiles, is short and very unhelpful. She is the main reason I will never go there again. There's nothing that feels good about handing money over to a person who could care less. It is also very close to the homeless shelter so be prepared to see some of that sort of traffic nearby.
Review 131:The extra sink in the rooms was handy. Felt very homey in the rooms. Clean and nice coffee pots.
Review 132:Definitely outdated. Bathroom was in disrepair, the tv barely worked and unfortunately there is some sort of drilling going on RIGHT behind the property that woke us up at 7am. Very loud.
Review 133:The staff was super nice, the room was huge, and the bed was super comfy!!
Review 134:There are no restaurants near except for Denny's. Our room was on the street side so you could every vehicle that passed by. The price was high. Plugs for coffee maker did not work.
Review 135:The room was clean.
Review 136:No mention until we got there that elevator was out of service. We were on the 3rd floor and I have a hard time with stairs, bad knees. They were rude to my daughter who arrived before me and refused to wait for me to arrive to pay for the room and then we got charged twice for the room!
Review 137:The free wifi and breakfast was fine. Room was nice. But there were some big problems with this hotel. Won't stay here again. Check in staff was extremely rude and not very helpful.
