Reviews for Olde Towne Inn

Review 1:Beds weren't that comfortable, and the noise from the street is loud.

Review 2:Excellent location. Close to coffee, restaurants, train station, and museums.

Review 3:Though Spartan in luxury items the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The location was perfect for my needs and the price was acceptable. I will be back again next month.

Review 4:I did like everything, specially the price. We got two room instead of one since we could afford it. It was very clean and a mile from the Engagement party we attended.I did read reviews about noisy place, but it was fine.I will defiantly stay in this place again.

Review 5:Very nice staff... nice and clean with very comfortable beds and bedding. Great central location on Old Town and a really good price. I will definitely stay there again.

Review 6:I arrived to be placed in a room smack in the middle of a group of loud, rowdy, drunken military guys who were hanging over the balconies drinking and smoking cigars, they harrassed me and made it difficult to escort my blind friend through the hallways, I was given a key to a room that someone was already occupying, there are no security features on the door (no chain etc), my "non-smoking" room REEKED of cigar smoke that was pouring in from the AC unit, the whole place felt tired and run-down and uncomfortable, I did not feel safe here so I left...

Review 7:I cannot think of a single positive thing to say

Review 8:Very friendly service at the front desk especially from the two ladies. Rooms nice and clean. Lot of parking space. Amazing surprise at check out. I will come back!

Review 9:You get what you pay for I guess. The mattresses were old, probably vinyl. I reserved a king room and ended up w/ 2 full beds, they had given away all the king rooms already. The hair dryer didn't work. Our microwave was dirty. The walls were paper thin and the area is super loud-nearby college campus, people drag racing/revving their engines constantly as they drive by, fire station nearby so lots of sirens, and train tracks nearby and the trains blast their horns the whole way through town. I slept w/ ear plugs in and could still hear the noise outside.

Review 10:It was cheap and decently clean

Review 11:Lack of a dining room / restaurant. Not a show stopper.

Review 12:We stayed at the Olde Towne Inn x 4 days while we visited the National Battlefield Parks of Manassas and Antietam. Great stay. Very clean rooms and hospitable staff. Would gladly stay there again.

Review 13:The room was fine. Clean, but basic & could do with refurbishing. At check in there was a pleasant young trainee and a very unfriendly sour old person - hopefully on her way out.

Review 14:The location.

Review 15:The only problem was the noise from the street at 3:00a.m.,and the train that was VERY close by.

Review 16:Staff were very helpful Room was small, but comfortable

Review 17:The restaurant and bar had closed and the new one had yet to open.

Review 18:It is a bit shabby but very clean. The location was great and they had smoking rooms plus they didn't smell like a smoking room.

Review 19:The hotel restaurant is in a shambles, looks like a rehab was started then stopped.

Review 20:The location is just great, right downtown near the train depot which runs M-F.

Review 21:I did not have a bad experience.

Review 22:I liked it a lot especially for the price. The accommodations were great and there was a lot of history there. Made me feel right at home.

Review 23:Great location within easy walking distance of restaurants. Nice atmosphere downtown. Easy to get to Dulles airport and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum outside Washington.

Review 24:The "non-smoking " room had obviously been a smoking room very recently. The odor from the furniture, carpet, and window curtains was very unpleasant.

Review 25:The location was important as it allowed us to visit with family living nearby. It was also near historical attractions.

Review 26:There was some red stains in the bed on the sheets not blood but idk what it was. There were to blankets on the bed so i just slept on one and used the other over top of me

Review 27:Good location for if your going to jiffy lube live center.

Review 28:It would have been great to have vending machines on the second floor

Review 29:For the price of the hotel it was surprisingly clean and comfortable. It looks like they clean the comforters with every guest they are white.

Review 30:The door to the bathroom was hard to close. We had to push real hard and pull real hard to get it to open or close.

Review 31:I really liked that it was clean. The bathroom were clean. And when I first walked in the room there was no bad odor and the they had also started the air conditioning for us.

Review 32:The restaurant/bar that was attached was no longer there. Also, there was an outdoor pool, but it was not in service in any way. I would suggest folding chairs be available for taking outside to sit outside your room.

Review 33:Proximity to everything

Review 34:The Inne is dated and needs to be remodeled. Carpet was dirty.

Review 35:The location and easy access to any route for sightseeing. Walking distance to multiple restaurants.

Review 36:We had to ask for towels and wash cloths every day . The bed skirt was way too long and was on the floor and was very dangerous ! Looks like it only had one mattress on the frame .

Review 37:The music from a nightclub across the street was so loud and the cheers from the crowd could be heard in our room, even with the windows closed.

Review 38:We loved the convenient location to the train station. We arrived on Amtrak and enjoyed our short walk to the Inn, restaurants and shops nearby. Such a pretty town!

Review 39:I could smell cigrrette smoke from the room next door I could overlook that because I could only smell it in the bathroom and the rest of the stay was nice.

Review 40:it was very nice in town location. We could take walks thru old town at a moments notice. Also, the staff responded very helpfully to our needs; fresh towels after prepping for a wedding, found our left behind hat and gave it to one of our relatives who could send it to us. Although the staff was willing to send it also.

Review 41:Nothing

Review 42:A good price for the level of facilities. If you are visiting the Smithsonian at Dulles or stopping over it is a great alternative to a bland airport hotel. Manassas is a pleasant little town.

Review 43:stayed in room 67 - no toilet paper or toilet paper holder in the bathroom, chain lock on door was missing half of the lock so not even useful. carpet was very dirty. online photos were deceiving. pool outside has not worked in 3 years. would not stay here again. only good thing was the front staff girl was really nice and helpful.

Review 44:Parking was always a problem in later afternoon/evenings, and no one seemed to care.

Review 45:Relatively close to D.C. and transportation options; comparatively inexpensive to regional places to stay.

Review 46:We hit a glitch with parking. I got back to the room in the evening and not a space to be found. It is permit parking but the bar on the corner had patrons parking in the lot. The clerk told me they weren't supposed to be there but told me to wait until the bar closed and spaces would open up. What???? I wasn't sitting in my car until 2:30 am to wait for a space. I ended up parking in the fire lane in front of the lobby for the night (with the clerk's permission of course). Also, bar guests returning to their cars were very loud. Beer cans and cups were scattered in the parking lot in the morning.

Review 47:The price was right. The location in old Manassas was great. The furnishings were dated but the room was clean. The staff was very nice. We ended our stay with a very nice buffet in the hotel restaurant.

Review 48:Situated in the heart of Manassas old town, close to museum and fabulous Visitors' Center. It's more motel than hotel but that simply adds to the charm of this little gem.

Review 49:Took quite a while to check in to a place that doesn't use computers :)

Review 50:Location, location, location. We attended a concert at Jiffy Lube Live and was able to "stumble out" of the hotel afterward into an amazing little row of bars with live music. If I ever go to Jiffy Lube again, I'll be back!

Review 51:The only negative I can think of is that the scent of the room deoderantthat the cleaning staff uses was unpleasant to me. But, I am allergic tomost all of that stuff. The front desk told me next time, if I ask, theywill skip it upon my request. If I want, I am invited to bring my own. And, really, that was the worst of the stay.

Review 52:Very clean, very neat, very helpful staff, the bar and restaurantadjacent is awesome (I age there twice) and, it is smack dab in themiddle of everything. I don't know how it could have been cleaner. My theory is that I could have stayed in places that cost $40 per nightmore and up. But, why? They have everything I could want, and .. groundfloor, no steps, walk-in. Perfect for an aging disabled vet! I love theplace and I am already looking for a reason to go back. It is my kind ofplace, for sure.

Review 53:Me and my daughter stayed there for one night for a competition that she was in near by. We checked in fairly late, the woman at the front desk could have been a bit more personable, but she was probably tired. The room was nice, beds were comfortable, parking was accommodating, and there was very little outside noise. We had a pleasant stay and will stay there again if we have to be in the area.

Review 54:A laundry facility would have been useful but there are a number of good laundry offerings a short drive away.

Review 55:Excellent location, safe within easy walking distance of restaurants museum and railway station.Lots of different shopping a short drive away, easy parking, clean and comfortable. 30 mins drive from Washington, well placed for exploring the hinterland. Very good value.

Review 56:We are non-smokers and got a "smoking" room... My fault really... Forgot to indicate in my preference..

Review 57:comfortable beds; clean bathroom; free working WIFI; attentive front desk

Review 58:You could hear a train horn since the motel is close to the railway crossing. It was not that frequent and only during the day.

Review 59:Staff was friendly, gave us a silent room upon request. Location was good next to main street and quite a few restaurants.

Review 60:Just a warning/not a complaint: Upstairs rooms require walking up a set of stairs. Not a problem for me but could be for some folks. Downstairs rooms would be noisier because of traffic and folks loading and unloading luggage from vehicles.

Review 61:Within easy safe walking of everything I wanted even after dark alone; close by restaurants with outdoor dining and street music. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was nicely decorated and freshly painted, couch as well as comfy king bed. Sink outside bathroom, all fixtures and bathroom tile and floor have been remodeled. Larger than normal frig with working freezer. AC/heater is in the room but very quiet, unlike most. Full restaurant with entrance in the lobby. I highly recommend this little Inn for stays in and around Manassas.

Review 62:Checkout out time could have been later than the 11am required time. The carpet in the room could have been cleaner.

Review 63:The location was extremely convenient. The bed was very comfortable The staff was most accommodating. The restaurant on the premises was great to have for carry out ordering.

Review 64:On our last night there, we had some very noise neighbors beside us who had stayed up all night and was very loud and kept us up just about all night! That part was not a good experience! I think their should be a quite rule after a certain time of night. To show respect for others who are trying to sleep. Other then that no compiants!!!

Review 65:I did not get a smoking room as requested.

Review 66:After a long lecture from the desk clerk I was able to do early check in.

Review 67:Room is Clean! People are nice. It's pretty quite at night because it's in downtown area instead of those Highway Inn & Suites.

Review 68:I ordered nunsmoking room but they gave me smuking room :(
