Review 1：They were in the middle of a huge remodel, and the swimming pool was not even open. We reserved a "family' room with 2 bedrooms on line, when we got there the receptionist told me they don't even have that kind of room. We ended up with a 2 queen room with pubic hair on the bathroom floor that had not been cleaned up from the last guests.

Review 2：we paid full price for this hotel even though they were under construction! front desk was a makeshift table in an entrance that was hard to find. staff charged my card even though we wanted to pay cash. dirty floor that we had to walk on to get to pool and breakfast. We should have been offered a discount for putting up with construction!!!

Review 3：The motel was very much under construction and this was not noted at the time we made the reservations. It should be nice when it is completed, but it is a mess now.

Review 5：The construction was disruptive. I assume the carpeting et al. will be replaced soon, but it was really dirty and not attractive at all. The staff was rude, wouldn't offer a bereavement rate, though my aunt and uncle who were staying there received it.

Review 6：Breakfast was good, but variety would be nice. Eggs and Waffles everyday for three days was a bit much. Plus, the fruit must have had something on it to keep it from browning, but it tasted funny and made our lips tingle.

Review 20：The hotel was clean except for some stains in the flooring. The beds were soft, but otherwise comfortable. Staff in the breakfast room were helpful and friendly. There were a lot of choices for breakfast. There are elevators to get to the upper floors.

Review 21：Only real negative was the King bed. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on because if one of us moved at all the bed bounced and wiggled. It kept both of us awake!

Review 27：I was greeted immediately by a very courteous and friendly desk attendant; the check in was simple and fast and I was in my room in a few minutes. The room was clean, quiet and everything was in order. It isn't extravagant, but then I don't want to pay for extravagant. I would not hesitate stay here again and would recommend it to a friend.

Review 28：No shampoo, one tiny bar of soap for my son and I to share, the pool was dirty and closed down until the next day, the shower didn't work until we fiddled with it to get to work and nobody would do anything about it.

We were going to arrive late so we called to give them a heads up which was good thing we did-they had computer issues and lost some of their reservations. Based on our call they held 2 rooms for us, not sure if we would have had a room if we hadn't called.

Review 32：When I booked this room I specifically requested no down or feathers in room. That was printed out on my confirmation. I arrived to a bed full of down pillows. The staff seemed to be very helpful and then replaced these with more down pillows. Second try was a charm and I received foam pillows. Staff and manager blamed this on problems with online booking.[Bad allergy issues prompted the request.]

Review 41：The beds were pretty stiff and there was no help in the kitchen for the complimentary breakfast bar and everything was out. This was graduation weekend so they could have staffed it up a little bit more for the breakfast bar. In addition, there was a young child's birthday party there so when we went to use the hot tub the kids were throwing footballs into the hot tub at each other.

Review 42：I really enjoyed that the hotel was close to the University and that it had a complimentary breakfast bar. Also, it was pretty quiet and the pool area was nice and had towels.

Review 43：The wi-fi password changed at midnight, so that we weren't able to use wi-fi the next morning. Since checkout isn't until 12, that leaves quite a bit of morning time without wi-fi. I'm sure we could have just called the front desk for the new password, but it was inconvenient and we were leaving that day anyways, so we didn't bother. Not a big deal, but a bit of a bother.

Review 44：The breakfast is excellent. The rooms don't feel cramped, as hotel rooms tend to feel; there was enough space to move about and between the beds. Checkout at 12 was great, to not have it be too early. The pool was great as well.

Review 47：Tub drain plugged up, tub drain strainer missing, shower head swivel joint sprayed on floor and ceiling causing flood, Moen cartridges are frozen up and need replaced, thermostat falling off the wall, soap was small, hand lotion non-existent, carpet frayed at elevator. AmeriTel original management would never let this happen. Will be back to see if this gets fixed.
