Review 8：They wifi did not work at all, which is ridiculous. The desk person said it was because of the football players, but it was worse the next night. She also said it rarely worked well in that section of the hotel and there was a sign when checking in. None of us saw a sign. Wifi is invaluable while traveling. We ended up using data and my daughter was unable to take her quiz for school. The desk clerk was actually quite defensive and rude when discussing it over the phone. I also did not realize breakfast wasn't included. We could have paid almost the same price, been closer to the venue, gotten breakfast and had wifi. Also, we could not see how the roll away would fit in the room, and were unable to use it. However, the gentleman who brought it was very kind and helpful. Lastly, my kids tried to go swimming but the water was freezing. Should the pool be heated in October?

Review 10：We had traveled all night, we were up for over 24 hours, we needed an early check in, Jessica the desk clerk gave us the first room someone checked out of and the maid cleaned the room immediately. Their Customer service is outstanding, she was our hero after a long night of driving.

Room 2 tv remote did not work, tv cable crimped, toilet seat broken, toilet valve did not close, bed lumpy, And breakfast was horrid. Cannot believe it was a Red Lion. New ownership has driven us away.

Review 19：Staff did not follow through on complaints. On our fourth night, catering scheduled a wedding activity which lasted far past midnight. The area which housed the fete was wide open to the courtyard. Children of all ages were playing around the swimming pool, screaming and crying.. When we called the front desk. the clerk merely said that the party had reserved the area until midnight. The result of staff indifference was that we experienced less than adequate rest. We faced a long drive the next morning without being fully rested.

Review 29：The free wifi is a joke, when I read the reviews of others complainingof the wifi, I thought they were maybe being harsh. When I walked intothe lobby, there were literally 13 people sitting in there on theirdevices.. I counted as it seemed odd. Once went to the room, it wouldnot connect at all and the only areas that you could connect were by thepool (where there is a big open space and people standing around ontheir devices.) or the lobby, hence all the people! If you have t-mobileyou should let everyone know they won't be able to get a hold ofyou. My husband has Verizon with his work and had no issues connectingand did not need wifi, but if you need it to call or send a text, goodluck! I was relying on the wifi, that was non existent. The pool iswonderful to look at but freezing to swim in!! Everyone was in the hottub. The floors were dirty and when we were looking for a lostshoe,found a beer and water bottle under the bed which were not fromus.. They also charge 40.00 per night for incidentals that was notexplained anywhere on booking.com or the hotel informtion/policieson booking.com which stated all pertinent info would be listed there.Well, it's not. It is released after but would be nice to know! Thefirst lady we came into contact with checking in was not rude but notnice.. The staff that walk around do not smile or do anything with theexception of the housekeeping that was nice and made contact.

Review 30：The beds were comfortable and the location was not bad for what weneeded it for. Breakfast was decent and there was a good selection. Poolis nice to look at but too cold to swim, hot tub is nice but crowdedgiven the pool temp.

Review 31：Breakfast closed at 9 on Sunday morning instead of their regular 10A.M.. Motel didn't bother to make it clear enough. Front desk justsaid its in a little piece of paper in your guest book. Never got theroom I had asked for. Front desk said all rooms are price the same withor without balcony and that I had not made that a special request. Saidthat was booking buddies mistake.

Review 32：WiFi was very weak. Wasn't even worth using. Every hotel I stayed at over the last week offered a free breakfast. Red lion charged $5 for the same breakfast. I willn't give red lion my business in the future.

Review 42：The wifi didn't work and I needed to work. They admit their wifi is slow and doesn't work in some areas of the hotel. Others wrote about the wifi, but I thought it must be a fluke. Not so. Very frustrating. And, only two channels came in clear, the rest were snow. One of the bath towels in my room was folded, but wet. It wasn't just a little wet, it was wet enough to feel the entire towel was wet. There is no way anyone folded that towel without knowing it was wet.

We were told the " restaurant " which ended up being the lounge was "family friendly" if it was family friendly you'd have something for kids to eat.. And it wouldn't be in a bar.. We made the right choice to walk across the road in the cold weather to go to Perkins .. I will never stay here ..

She seemed somewhat disinterested but nodded her head indicating she heard me. The next morning the door still did not work so she did not send maintenance to repair as she had indicated. Reported again upon checking out. Did not feel safe or secure in this hotel.

The breakfast offered was very marginal and the coffee was poor. Also, the room was very stuffy since there were no outside windows to open, but only inside windows.

Review 125：The carpet tack around the kitchen/refrigerator/microwave wasexposed and we stepped on it a couple of times while wearing our socks.The room was right next to the pool and there was noise from childrenand occupants that didn't go away until the pool area closed at10:00 P.M. But it was back again around 8:00 A.M. when people (children)decided to occupy the area again. There was also a soccor ball beingkicked around in the same area, and it hit our sliding-glass door andthe intake for both of our air-conditioning units, creating a great dealof noise. It was very annoying. We told the front desk about the carpettack, but decided not to look a gift-horse in the mouth. We werethankful for their generosity with the room upgrade. But the noise was ahuge disappointment.

Review 126：We appreciated that they upgraded our Suite for our honeymoon to a two-bedroom suite with a jet-tub for no extra cost. We appreciated that theywere willing to accommodate my request to have flowers in the room. Thefood at breakfast was also very good and worth the cost.

Review 127：After a 5 hour drive to the hotel, my girls and I really wanted to relaxin the hot tub. That's why we chose this hotel. As we went to getinto the hot tub, I had the pleasure of stepping in human feces. I wasmortified. I notified the front desk, in which she said they would sendsomeone right down, it was 45 minutes later. At that point I was offered$15 worth of breakfast. This was unacceptable. I asked for the manager,which didn't come for another 1 1/2 hours. There is no amount ofmoney that could compensate me for stepping in human feces. This made mefeel sick to my stomach, and ruined the night I had planned with mygirls. After, another 1/2 hour the manager did come to my room againand offered my room at 50% off. In hindsight, I should have received myroom free, and breakfast free. They should have had more compassion forwhat had transpired. I have had several people tell me I should havecalled the local newspaper and reported what had happened, maybe thatwould have urged the hotel to attempt to make things right. Beingoffered $15 for breakfast was really a slap in the face. This wasextremely disgusting and I was treated as it was really not that big ofdeal. I will be contacting Red Lion Corporate office about this matter.
