Review 1：Place was empty and they put us in a room right next to the maintenance room. Repeat customers and they tried to upsell me for $10. Won't be back.

Review 2：The first night we were there our room was a little tight but it was still a nice room. When we checked in the office informed us that a larger room would be open for our second night if we wanted to switch!

Review 3：the location was great with shops and food within walking distance. It was a short drive to local attractions. The staff was very friendly and I loved that I could bring my dog!

They called the morning of our arrival to see what time we would arrive and since we were attending the music festival offered to have front desk staff check us in early so that we could get to the festival. The room was comfortable, renovated bath nice, fireplace cozy (king room) and comfy bed. Great location. Very clean (which is important to me). Liked having windows that open for the fresh air.

Review 5：We were quite disappointed in our beds. They were very uncomfortable and made crinkly noises every time you turned over.We never said anything to the staff as there wasn't much they could have done except bring in new beds!

Review 12：Great bedding, very cozy and warm. Excellent location!! Very friendly staff...I had them leave a basket of cheese, crackers, chocolate, wine, and champagne for our anniversary. Everything was handled perfectly. I would recommend Homestead Inn for your next visit to Blowing Rock!! We loved it!!

Review 18：The Inn was very convenient to downtown Blowing Rock and the room was very clean. We stayed in the smaller unit, but it was comfortable and slightly less expensive than the larger units. We will definitely stay at this Inn again.

Review 21：Tho' the microwave, coffee maker, and fridge served us well, there was no table to eat at (not enough room for one, but there are picnic tables outside). Double bed was too soft and too small for us (and we're not oversized). Air conditioner was very noisy but masked the sound of the fridge turning on and off. Well-lit parking lot glowed strongly around the edges of the blackout curtains, lighting the room at night. So, even though we were tired from long hikes each day, sleeping was not sound.

Review 22：Location is excellent -- what isn't within walking distance is a few minutes' drive away. Hotel is extremely pet friendly, and is beautifully landscaped (so plan to pick up your puppy poop). Off-street parking is well lit and not too crowded. Plenty of storage in the room -- drawers, cabinets, and shelves. Decor was a nice combination of modern (stone tile, hardwood floors) and rustic (fabric choices and colors).

Review 47：The Homestead was a nice get a way from the traditional hotel chain for a quaint get away in the Blowing Rock Community. The room with the fireplace and double Jacuzzi tube would be a good romantic stay. Too bad my wife couldn't come for the night.
