Review 1：The first room they placed me in was covered in bugs, which I took pictures of, and the women at the front desk was rude about it because I asked to be placed in another room. It smelled. The walls had chipped paint, the restrooms were disgusting and looked dirty. The rooms were uncomfortable especially the bed.The fridge in our room didn't work. Basically this place looked like a run down motel from a horror movie.

Review 10：The lobby smelled like smoke, we were unceremoniously greeted by a security guard who had his pizza dinner spread across the reception counter, the staff behind the counter had no time for any pleasentries, the stairway and hallway leading up to our room had beer cans and cartons left on the ground, as I entered the room I took one step in and the sight drew the last straw and I immediately went back to the counter to request a refund ... The worst room I have ever booked on line ... Ever ..

Review 12：The fact that the sign was not lit, and we almost missed the place. Then we got to the room and the carpet wasn't vacuumed dead bugs on the floor, and the bathroom was not clean or stocked with supplies. The toilet was filthy I had to clean it before my husband could use it, URINE all over the rim of the bowl and on the bottom of the the seat.

Review 13：Nothing much, and the staff was not very friendly. The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke bad and if someone had breathing problems they would've had an attack.

Review 16：Our reservations were messed up at check-in, but the young lady got it figured out. HOWEVER! When we went out in the morning, we returned to find our bed not made (got in at 2 p.m.) and the front desk said, "We don't make beds on extended stay." The discussion went downhill from there. Her arguing with me, telling me she was not arguing with me, and me assuring her she was arguing. Nothing done to resolve the issue. We made our own bed. And will NEVER stay here again!

Review 17：I had booked a reservation on Wednesday for 1 night in a room with awhirlpool. The booking gave me one price and once I got there, the pricewent up considerably. That would have been fine had the room metexpectations.The whirlpool had a huge chip in it and the power button was covered with tape. I still attempted to use it but when I turned the water on and let it run for about 6 minutes, I put my hand under the faucet and it was still cold. That got me wondering and so I proceeded to the restroom where I found out that the water in the shower was also cold. As I looked around the bathroom, I noticed random hairs and urine at the base of the toilet. The stopper in the shower was unscrewed and when I attempted to put it back in, I realized that it had been that way because it was malfunctioning. The walls were smudged with dirt and there was a random dead fly on the floor. This condition is completely unsatisfactory for any establishment.I checked in at 3 and at 4:30, I walked down to the front desk to ask for extra pillows because the ones in the room were totally flat. I was told to check the closet but upon inspection, there were none so I called the desk to advise them. They told me that they would be up in 10-15 minutes. I had somewhere to be and figured that they would be waiting when I returned to the room that night but needless to say, they weren't. I then asked the front desk yet again but they informed me that they could not access extra pillows because only the housekeepers have a key. Are you kidding me?? At a hotel, the front desk should be able to accommodate customers at any moment...this is bad business practice. The blanket in between the sheet and the comforter was so rough that it caused a rash on my body.There is a pool but it was out of order and I had been expecting to be able to use it. Disappointing to say the least...

Review 25：It would be good if someone can rent a room at flexible time. Right now, day start at 3 pm and ends at 11. It is inconvenient for someone who lands at Pittsburg at 9 am in the morning and he/she has to wait 6 hours to get into room. Little more flexibility would be appreciated.

Review 29：don't go buy the pictures on this sight our room didn't look like those i should have read the moor of the reviews then i did and not go buy the pictures the stuff was VERY RUDE only had 3 towels no soap when i asked for extra linen and pillows was told there is no way they could give it out the room smelled of mold the carpet was filthy look like it was never cleaned there was dirt,crumbs and who knows what else was between the night stand and bed there was gray dirt all around the edging of the carpet the bed spread had holes and sex stains on it the toilet leak all over the bathroom floor out into the room the bathroom floor grout was black there was mold around the tub and didn't even looked like it was cleaned paint peeling walls where dirty oh and last lets not forget about the cockroaches that i seen running under the door and in the lobby this hotel should be torn down

Review 30：It's not the ritz carlton! haha. Neighbors were loud, probably there to party for the weekend. TV, sex, etc. Thankfully, I brought my ear plugs.

Review 31：It was cheap, it was a place to lay my head and rest my legs while in town for the game. I've been to pit before so it wasn't a big deal to be outside of downtown, but if you haven't and you want to check out downtown then you will need a car. There is a subway stop near by, but I didn't try it. Remember, its a motel 6, not the ritz carlton! If you're okay with that, then you can't really beat the price! Staff was courteous as well.

Very rude, made us wait 10 minutes while they talked, very unprofessional, made it seem like it was inconvenience when asked for extra towel. One ice machine for entire property. The property was outdated and looked like someone hit clearance rack at Home Depot and tried to fix property up as cheap as possible. Need to tear down property and start over along with front desk staff. Will not go there again and Motel 6 should remove any marketing from this location.

Review 53：The first room we were assigned to had crumpled sheets and bed cover, the bed was not made properly and the TV was on. So we requested a change and in the new room the bed was made but the sheets and bed cover were all crushed but clean. The wall to wall rug was dirty and stained and the toilet was leaking.

Review 56：It's a Motel 6- you can't expect a whole bunch of nice things. It was a place where I got to sleep and put down my things while I got to visit Pittsburgh. It was fine. I'd stay there again. It's conveniently located down the hill from the Potomac Station on the M Red line, making it pretty easy to get to downtown in twenty minutes.

Our room was dirty and very poorly up kept. Our second night there they never came in to clean our room had to ask for clean towels. I was so angry that I was ready to sleep in my car. All the hotels were filled do to the Steeler game. The pictures on file are not the pictures of the rooms so please don't be fooled. I do not know if I will ever use booking.com again

Review 60：Very noisy in the middle of the night. College aged people making noise and all over the place all night.

Review 62：I had booked a nonsmoking room. When I arrived, I was told I had not done this; the clerk looked up my booking and discovered that I had indeed requested nonsmoking. They had made a mistake. Which was my problem; I received no apology, and no offer to put me in the kind of room I thought I had reserved in the first place. It felt like "Take the smoking room or don't; we don't much care which you do." The room only stank a little bit, but the hall was lethal. Also, morning coffee was available, but no cream and no hot water for tea.

Review 67：Had to change rooms. 1st room was allegedly a non smoking room on a non smoking floor but there was no possible way that it was. A 2nd front desk associate made the situation a little uncomfortable by giving reasons as to why the room smelled smoky; i.e.guests ignoring the no smoking, policy, people smoking with windows open, etc. The property should have made sure the room was up to standard.

Review 68：Front desk associate was great; very professional and personable. We advised that we either had to have a truly non smoking room or we would have to check out. The associate was able to make that happen.

Review 73：upon arrival was told they could only book me for two of the three nights that I had previously confirmed. They further told me I would have to check out on day two and then recheck in the third day. Unpacking and temporarily storing our belongings until check in time on the third day. The room key also failed to work on day three and the front desk had to reactivate it. They also failed to freshen up the room on the second day of our stay. In all honesty this was the poorest service and biggest foul up I have ever experienced in my travels. It ws also the first time I stayed at a motel 6 and based on this experience I will be hard pressed to stay at a motel 6 again.

Review 74：too far away from the city, no public transport access (had to take a cab twice). Breakfast vending machine was broken so had to take a cab to get some food. TV programs are very limited (no Food Network)

She kept talking to the other lady as if we were not standing right in front of her. The rooms were nothing like they were described or shown in the pictures. We stayed two nights and on the second night the shut off our room keys and we had to go stand and wait 20 minutes just to get our keys turned back on. When we arrived back on our floor, they entire 5th floor hall smelled like marijuana! There were other people in the hallway complaining as well. The people next to us were very loud and were banging on the walls. I will not stay at that place again, no matter how cheap the rooms were and how close it was to the City.
