Review 1：No air conditioning. Room very hotunless windows open. Plugs and light switches in poor repair. Not close to fast food.Breakfast served too late in morning.

Review 3：Very helpful and friendly staff. Great price! We only wanted to spend a night on our trip to Big Sky. We weren't looking for luxury or care about updated facility. The place is well taken care of.

Review 4：I didn't like the unattached headboard shoved behind the bed. Nor was I impressed with the poor attempts at drywall patches in the room and bathroom, and the fact that the balcony door has obviously been kicked in. I saw housekeeping the entire time I was there, yet not once did they stop at my room. The shower was rather dated and gross. The furniture was mis matched and the desks main drawer. Had no bottom In it.

Review 5：The gentleman who seems like he runs the place was spectacularly nice and extremely helpful in explaining the rules and procedures for the hotel as well as giving helpful suggestions on where to eat.

Review 6：We left a do not service while we were out. They did not respect our wishes. We did not like for them to come into our room while we were out. The inside safety lock was broken.

Review 7：Owner was arrogant. No coffee maker No ability to control heat or AC B'fast wasn't served till 7:30 when travelers are on the road.

Review 11：The website does not state that there is a charge for pets. It says there are pet friendly rooms but no mention of a charge, however there is a $15 per day charge.

Review 13：Bed was uncomfortable. Squeaked when you turned over. Room was hot even though air was on cold. The other room that our other guest were is was freezing. Bathroom run down missing a lot of trim and tiny shower.

Review 15：The extra latch to secure room broken. Latch to shower door broken. If you weight 200 lbs the mattress squeaked. There are cheap waterproof mattress pads that crunched as you moved. We had a room with 2 queens and it looked liked 1 bed did not get new sheets as it appeared someone had laid on it .

Review 17：This pipes under the sink leaked out onto the floor if there was to much water down the sink at one time. The hangers and the shelve above them were thick with dust!!

Review 20：Most uncomfortable beds than any places we have stayed, very soft, noisy all night, all 6 of us could not sleep well at all. After add all taxes and service charges, they still over charged $25 more then Booking.com confirmed. It is much different than we stayed two years ago. The very rude old lady owner doesn't care about guests. Booking.com should have dropped the motel from it's list!

Review 21：The shower had hair all over the walls. The shower door wouldn't stay shut. The "queen" beds were actually full beds And were rock hard.I booked the room for $70 and paid $111 at check out!

Review 45：Management was rude; uncooperative. We understood we would not receiveour money back, but did expect to get our pet deposit back. Even thoughthe dog had not been on the premises, and they had made no changes toaccommodate a dog, they kept the fee they charged for her.

Review 47：There was a roach in our room and when I asked for a refund, the owner's wife insisted they didn't have roaches. She asked to see it and said it was a "light bug" which had been drawn to the room light. The curtains had been closed, so I didn't really understand that. She then carried the bug out to the lobby to show her daughter. It's was very strange, especially when she showed the bug to other guests.

Review 49：Mice, broken furniture, the toilet had the "sanitary seal" which when broken revealed p and pubes from whom ever suffered there before us. The management displays a sign about "disturbances" & when I complained about the room I was accused of ,actually yelled at by the male owner, that i was a "disturbance" & asked to leave no refund. $605 for my husband to contract MRSA he is still recovering.....stay away!!!

Review 55：They're in the middle of a renovation. It's a no frills motel, but very clean. FYI I had a 79.99 room and ended up paying $110 (the cat fee was 10.99 and then a bunch of taxes) and I had to sign a paper saying I wouldn't let him on the bed or I'd have to pay more money for them to clean the sheets and blanket (Umm shouldn't you be cleaning it anyway??) It was clean and a decent place to stay but not worth $110.

Review 58：I was running late, really late. The clerk was waiting for me and made check on a breeze. In the morning the clerk was equally as plesent. The way I was treated was awesome.

Review 60：Was not told in advance that motel was under renovations both outside and inside. Also there was run/walk event held one morning of our stay that impacted our ability to exit the blocks surrounding the motel.

Review 61：Last time we stayed we were upstairs. I would much prefer those upstairs rooms to what we had this time. We had an adjoining room to someone with a dog and every time we moved it would start to bark. Looked like the room was still being renovated.

Review 62：Staff are always friendly. Bed is always comfy and parking usually isn't too hard to find. For the most part it quiets down pretty well at night (surrounding area).

If I could record the conversation at a front desk, I could make a national news, that how rude and unpleasant the woman was! FDA have to come and see it to believe it!

Our friend got charged for 10 night when he only requested 4 night and only stated 2 nights. Staff was very rude.

Review 78：My son and I were returning from a family wedding in mn and had driven800 miles; we were exhausted. I was disappointed to see the room had notub, just a shower. The security lock on the door was broken. There wereholes in the bathroom wall from screws. And the beds were broken down,my son's actually squeaked when he sat on the edge. About 10:30 pmwhen he went to the bathroom and then opened the shower door to take alook. Ants were crawling all over the bottom of the shower and upseveral inches on the sides. He immediately called the front desk. Theyoffered to come and spray. We said we were too tired, let it go untilafter we had checked out. Then as we thought about it, we realized theyknew all about the ants; and this was confirmed by the comments aboutants in the summer discussed further in this review. These ownersapparently had no qualms about spraying a shower with ant killer so someunsuspecting traveler could step in and turn on the water to mix withant killer and be absorbed into his skin . . . if that your idea of agood hotel, then register and enjoy. Booking.com website appears toalways say there is only one room left at its special price anyway. Whenwe complained and asked for a discount on our room because we could nottake a bath, the ants became our fault. Why didn't we tell themabout the ants when we first checked into the room? The man and womanwho owned the hotel appeared to be from India where animals are sacred.That may explain the comment of the man owner who said "ANTS areanimals." I thought they were insects. The woman said we hadprobably trashed the room when we left. I said let's go check theroom right now. They wouldn't do it. That's when the woman ownersaid, "We have ants in the summer, not the winter." Oh,really, then the zero degree weather must mean summer has arrived. Onthat unhappy note, we left.

Review 79：The time of serving breakfast was short and late so we were not able to ever get any while at the motel. The price quoted by the booking agent was not the same as I was charged.

Review 80：The price and the management were both good. The location to downtown was good, but it was hard to find a parking spot because of the construction.

Review 89：The parking lot is tiny. We had a truck with a trailer and had to park across the street. Our room could have been cleaner. There was one of those sticky pad mouse traps by our door. The shower was tiny and gross. The water pressure sucked. The toilet had stains in it. Our remote barely worked. What we paid was way too much.

Review 94：The room was incredibly dirty. There were stains, cigarette burns, and ice melt all over the floor. The blanket on the bed was covered in dog and human hair. The microwave was splattered with food. Dust covered every surface. We got a good rate on the room, $74 including tax, but we could have received a better deal and a clean room at Motel6.

Review 95：The only thing that was pleasant about our stay at The Western Inn was the man who checked us out. He was very kind and advised us of road conditions. His kindness and consideration were very much appreciated.

Review 98：Apparently if you check in after midnight there is a late check in fee. Also you apparently are required to inform the hotel if you are going to check in after 7. None of which I knew. I was coming back from my father's funeral the staff was so rude I thought she wasn't going to let me in. And since my flight was delayed I asked for a late check out and I was informed 1130 was the latest or my card would be charged another night. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again if I was told a serial killer was staying at every other hotel in town. I would take my chances.

Review 99：The $64.00 cancel fee on a reservation I didn't mean to make is ridiculous and the bedding was old and worn, there was blood on the curtains, and the bathroom was moldy looking.

Review 114：I have some minor disabilities, got in very late at night, and the staff was really helpful. They assisted me to a room, modified the room assignment to make it easier for me, and went above and beyond to assist me the following morning. Very polite and courteous. When in Billings, this is where I'll stay.

Review 121：The room was filthy, and the sewer had backed up into the shower. We were moved to another room, there was urine at the base of the toilet in that room. The cleaning staff was rude, she told me if I didn't like it that we should go someplace else. Yes she did say that! The front desk staff lied to Bookings.com, told them that we checked in before 4 in the afternoon and in essence we had booked in after 9 pm, went out for a bite to eat, came back to the room did the inspection and went to the desk and put our concerns forward. We were blamed for making the room filthy, when in essence we spent 10 minutes in the first room and only about 5 in the 2nd room. Bookings should be ashamed to have them on their list of hotels.
