Review 1：It smelled so bad. Breakfast was horrible. Our room phone rang very 5 mins the whole entire night. Bathroom wasn't clean.

Review 16：The hotel is only 10 min from O'Hare, yet it took the shuttle 4 calls and 50 minutes to pick us up.

Review 18：Few things. First, the staff at the front desk should greet and smilemore often. They have mostly young girls at the desk and all of themseems to be rude. And after we got our key none of directed to our room.They were busy on their phone, smart phone, texting on WhatsApp andFacebook as I can literally see the screen and heard the conversationabout Facebook. Secondly, the room we got was 315. The washroom sink wascloth and was hard to use it at night time because of water overflow. Sothey offered us a discount. Third, make sure to get your receipt at thetime of check out. They charged us more and since it was a long weekendnow we have to wait till we get our refund from their financialinstitutions. Fourth, breakfast on the second day didn't refilloatmeal. When I asked for my favorite selection *MaplE And brown Sugar*,server refund to provide one as it was not in stock.. Fifth, we did nothave a desk chair in our room so we have to call and asked for a chairplus coffee maker was out of service. Horrible.

Review 20：There were only 2 staffs at the front and they had to do check-in, cashier of convenience store, concierge, and a lot of other jobs. Took long time to check-in. TV in my room didn't work. Toilet was really small even for Japanese lol. Shower was pooor. Noisy air conditioning. (making noise even after I turned it off) Very old facilities. I cannot believe that it costed the same as Hilton O'hare.

Review 28：Under construction. Out room was done however bathroom was bad. No pressure in shower and toilet barely flushed. Shower handle was loose and came off. Hallway to our room was a major trip hazard from remodeling. Not very happy about that. If remodeling the least the crew can do is make it safe for walking to and from our room.

Review 32：The first room we got had a large obvious stain on the carpet and the window had a huge crack in it. The front desk staff were great and immediately gave us another room. The AC unit was very noisy during the night when switching on and off. But the biggest problem was that exterior doors, which should have been accessed only by swiping the hotel cards, were unlocked so anyone could get in. Not very reassuring in terms of safety/security. Overpriced for what we got, not the best value for the money.

Review 40：The bathroom. Shower alternated with hot and cold and wouldn't respond to fine adjustment; tub wouldn't drain so shower was done in standing water. Asked two nights to receive wake-up calls- both mornings got NO call. Ran late first morning. Was awake 2nd morning and NO wake-up call.

Review 42：Not a bad experience as such, but the three points on which I am "deducting marks" for the hotel: the elevators have seen their best days and move so slowly that I thought they had failed. The breakfast room is at the far end of the hotel and requires a walk along corridors that are unheated and were therefore quite cold when we visited. The breakfast room itself requires refurbishment: torn seats and a carpet that could be thoroughly cleansed or replaced - not dirty, as such, just 'tired'.

Review 43：The narrow entrance and cramped reception didn't instil confidence, but the room was clean, everything worked and it was well insulated against noise - both internal and from the airport and highway outside. The free wifi was also quick to connect and fast! The staff were extremely helpful.

Review 44：They charged me a fee I was not aware of. You had to go outside to get to the place where breakfast was served, that was strange. There was a nightclub attached to the hotel. When it closed the guest that came back at 2am were loud in the hallways.

Review 46：It was really noisy. I couldn't sleep at night. I tried calling the front office and nobody answered. Then I went to the lobby in the middle of the night in my pajamas....and there was nobody at the front desk. The next morning the person working at the front desk gave every excuse in the book for why the front desk person wasn't there and why they didn't do anything about the noise. (Apparently other people had complained as well). They comped my next night, but that didn't really make a difference for me because the lack of sleep made it impossible for me to enjoy my time touring the city the next day. Needless to say, I won't be staying there again. And I do plan on returning to Chicago soon, but they lost my business as far as I'm concerned.

Review 47：The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. It had the basics in the room. And I liked the breakfast - it was simple but good.

Review 62：The bathroom sink had toothpaste with hair stuck on it, the bathtub still had towels in it, there was hair all over the floor, and the bed had hardened food crumbs in the foot of the bed... And we had no food with us. Needless to say we will not be staying with this hotel again.

Review 68：The total absence of hot water (the hotel's boiler broke down) was one annoyance. The toilet that did not flush a second one. Add to this the experience with the bed that collapsed under one of us (who is not overweight by any measure) during normal sleep and you pretty much have a good picture of our stay.

Review 69：Locationwise the perfect budget place to stay before picking up or after returning a rental car when your prior or next journey leg is a flight into or out of O'hare. Very near to most of the rental car depots. Plus we got a full refund/stayed for free because of the annoyances reported in the next text box.

We will never stay in any Best Western Hotel in the future.

Review 75：Air conditioner is very simple, noisy. Heating performance is too bad. Hotel market is too poor. No more alternative inside. Breakfast is too poor.

Review 77：Got to airport at 10:11 PM, called for shuttle, told it would be there within 30 minutes, did not show till 11:38, then took close to 1 hour to get to hotel. Blamed construction. I called to ask where shuttle was and was lied to. Told me that it had been by twice before we actually go ride. 15 of us were waiting and 3 had to be left behind due to space limits. They went across to Hilton after waiting almost as long as I. They should have allowed us to share cab and reimburse us. Wow, gave me a 10 dollar credit for my trouble. Oh yeah, 6 AM smoke alarm begins beeping, so I got 5 hours of sleep. Will not stay there again! Totally clueless as to customer satisfaction! Not a priority.

I get there and they tell me it's only for king size rooms, I don't understand why I got to reserve two queen beds in a smoking room if they don't even have them. The staff was rude. We only had them clean our room once out of the 4 nights we were there to save water and all that the one day they cleaned they didn't do a very good job and they didn't leave towels or soaps. We forgot our shampoo and soap bag and the people at the front desk acted put out to have to get us some. Next year we are definitely staying somewhere else

Review 91：Multiple things were non functioning in my room. Coffee maker, Curtain ( didn't close completely and I was on the ground floor with a parking lot outside) AC/Heating Unit's fan was incredibly loud. The toilet ran all night - struggled through and just fixed it myself in the morning.

Review 111：Musty smell upon entering the room. No countertop in the bathroom to hold stuff. Only a small glass shelf was provided and wasn't big enough to even hold a curling iron. Room was dark even with all lights on. Broken ice machine on our floor. Restaurant was closed except for breakfast. Bar was closed for renovation. No microwave or refrigerator. We were promised the shuttle would take us to our class site when we asked about the facilities, but then we were told they could not because there were too many other guests using the shuttle. The whole place was a dump.

Review 112：The hotel charge more than 100 USD than the price confirmed by booking.com. Impossible to get the refund there. The manager's mail adress is wrong, we will have to claim through Best Western when back to France.

A lady walked by us as we were trying out the first one and stated "That happened to us too!". It definitely wasn't the 1st time it happened! Although breakfast was included and should be nothing but grateful for the service, the food and coffee was most defiantly nothing to be desired. Review 125：My elderly mother and I had booked a room with 2 Queen beds, but because our flight was delayed, our room had been given away. So I had to sleep on a camp stretcher beside my mother's bed for the same price. The night office attendant was sullen and rude about this when questioned.
