Review 1：The air conditioner was on, and the temp was set to 69 degrees, when I walked in. I changed the setting to "heat" and 80 degrees; took several hours for the room to warm up to a temperature where I didn't have to wear my coat. And, there were no blankets: just a bedspread and a sheet.

Review 3：the room was out dated, the bathroom was a train wreck, seedy characters around on the weekend. musty smell, like someone was smoking in there for years even though it was a none smoking room. I only stayed one week and found a much better and safer place for the same amount in Eagan.

Review 5：1. Some maintenance inside and out is lagging, and appearance is somewhat run down as a result. 2. Air coming from A/C smelled dreadful, like moldy cigar smoke -- so I left it off. If I had really needed the A/C it would have been a major problem.

Review 32：The chairs that go with the desk/table were so nasty that we had to put a towel down on them before sitting on them; one of them had a huge burn hole and the foam padding was hanging out. The water in the bathroom sink did not come on very easily- had to turn the handle around about 5 times before it came on. We tried to call the motel several times before arriving and no one ever answered the phone.

Review 34：It was not the cleanest. There were dirty smudges on the wall and light switch in the bathroom. Nothing was done above what was asked so we needed to ask for a pillowcase even though it was obviously without one on the bed.
Review 35：They accomodated when we asked. Our child was sick one night and I felt bad to ask for a blanket but the owner was nice about it. They swapped the towels each day as requested. It was economical.
Review 36：the electric was old and it floor were not properly installed. No ice machine and it is very remote and out the way. It had no extra's at all. It was like being in a dorm room and it had no ceiling light just lamps. It was not what i expected in a hotel room in the 2013. The Hotel needs to upgraded into the 21st century. I would not stay there again because when I got there the offer over the internet was different than what I had to pay. (surprise). the room was not worth the amount charge and i will be very careful when booking again over the internet for the extra charges. It rating on the internet needs to be changed to 2 stars. I will also reserve a hotel that is well know. I have stayed in Winona Ms and the hotel there was much nice and didnot charge a extra fee than what was on the internet! You really need to check what they advertise on the internet .

Review 38：It was a great value for the price. It was not the Taj Mahal, but was very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. My son-in-law and daughter visited and enjoyed their stay.

Review 43：This is one of the worst motels we have ever stayed in and we travel a lot. I often book economical motels, but I would never stay here again. She overcharged us much more than the normal tax. There is no ice machine, the room was not very clean, very dirty carpet, the bathroom was in very poor condition. We were there 2 days and they did not even make up the room after the first night. When we complained, the manager was very rude, and said that they did not clean or make up the rooms unless you left a Maid Service sign hanging on the door! We asked for directions to a Wal-Mart, and she gave me specific directions which were completely wrong.

Review 47：I was charged $5.00 over the online booking price (with taxes and fees), the room smelled bad and the windows were painted shut and the window crank broken off of ALL windows. Had to leave door open to outside for long time to air out as much as possible. The hotel looked run down and seedy. Claimed internet service was non-existent (no wi-fi) and there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom which made shaving with my plug-in shaver a major challenge. For $12 more we could have stayed at a Travelodge or Super 8 and had wi-fi and a continental breakfast. Would never stay at the Budget Host again.
