Studio 17 is in a renovated warehouse building, just half a mile from the historic Ghent city center. It offers a spacious one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and free private parking.
There is a sitting area with a flat-screen cable TV, an iPod speaker system and free Wi-Fi. The Studio 17 master bedroom has box-spring beds and a floor-heated bathroom.

Review 1：The bedroom has no windows/natural light which we are no used to.
Review 2：This accommodation would not suit everybody as it is part of an old factory conversion/development and despite the high standard of conversion, it does have a "garage" feel about it. We loved it though, and agree with other posts on quality of breakfast and accessibility to the town centre. The fully fitted kitchen gives you the option to cook and eat in.

Review 4：Small, personal, different : this place reflects the integrity of the place and the personality of the owners. This not a main stream anonymous hotel but an interesting and unusual lodging. Liked it a lot as could bunker down and work comfortably. Breakfast, wifi and showed really good and good quality bedding but I could see that it would not be to everyone's taste. I liked it. Only 5 minutes from centre.
Review 5：Stylish , well located very spacious "factory conversion "apartment , with parking and nearby tram 5 minutes to city Center . Supermarket across the road etc . Very friendly owner on site . This apartment is obviously a Labour of love " as much as a commercial enterprise . A feature is the excellent breakfast provisions - quality cheese and prosciutto -- eggs - freshly baked warm bread, fresh fruit and pastries provided each morning to " self cater" in the excellent fully equiped modern kitchen . nothing to find fault with here at all !

Review 9：The space: it's a very large apartment that can sleep a family (one large bed + 2 bunk beds). The owner: Serge is so nice and wants to be sure everything is ok. For example, the WiFi router broke down, he did not hesitate to give me his password for his own personal WiFi as replacement. A private parking space (free): absolutely critical if you drive a car. And so on...

Review 12：The apartment was modern, very clean, had a great little garden, Serge was the perfect host and the bread provided with the continental breakfast was freshly baked :-) The apartment was within walking distance of the city centre (even with a three year old to carry!), but the tram line is right there if you don't want to walk.

Review 18：A very large and well equipped apartment with secure parking. The owner was very helpful and delivered warm bread and pastries to our door each morning with other breakfast items in the fridge. Just a short walk to the centre of Ghent which is a great city.

Review 23：It's a great pleasure to stay at Studio 17. We always receive a warm welcome by Serge and Gina. The accommodation is of a very high standard. The food provided is very good and is more than just breakfast. The fresh bread is excellent by the way. We find the safe private parking gives us piece of mind.
Review 24：The property was very, very clean. The breakfast was superb, fresh bread, ham's and cheese. The bed very comfortable. And we parked the car in the private garage and didn't use it again until the morning we left.The owner Serge is so helpful, we can't fault the property or its owner.
Review 25：We stayed 3 nights at Studio 17. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and the owner, Serge, could not do enough for us. It is very easy to find using your GPS. You arrive at the outside garage door and ring the bell (which is well marked) and once inside you are surprised by the fabulous property inside. Serge and his wife have completely redone an old warehouse with these two wonderful apartments and their lovely home. There is parking inside the compound for several cars so parking is not an issue. The apartment we had is spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped. Every thing is clean and new. We had an enclosed outside sitting area which although did not have access to the outside yard did have a space large enough for two chairs and is uncovered on top. The living room is large and well furnished. We found the beds to be very comfortable. Our unit had a queen size bed with bunk beds on the other side of the wall. There are several sliding doors so you can make your own privacy wall if traveling with others. Quite a unique idea. The breakfast arrived outside our room every morning with a nice loaf of fresh, hot bread, croissants and yogurt. The fridge is stocked with a nice assortment of cheese and meats with juice and milk and assorted condiments. You will not be disappointed with this property. It is about a 10 minute walk into the Old Town and there are a few stairs (not many) so if mobility is an issue you might want to check with Serge.
Review 26：Everything at studio 17 will make you feel like home. Mr.Serge is a kind person and give you a warm welcome. The facilities are perfect, especially the kitchen. Breakfast was gorgeous, especially the croissant. We wish to stay longer but we cannot book.

Review 31：Great apartment just 1 km far from the city center. I can not even describe how amazing the building is. Yoi can have all the facilities, even the dishwasher!!! Moreover you can have a parking spot for free.

Review 33：Gina and Serge were so welcoming and hospitable. They couldn't do enough for us. We loved having our little patio to sit outside and have a glass of wine after a day of walking the streets of Ghent. There were three of us travelling together and I would suggest that the unit is a little small for three women. Two people would find it perfect (we had a little too much luggage for the space). The breakfast was overwhelming!! What a treat to have all the wonderful things that Serge and Gina offered. The price was amazing for all that was included.

Review 36：We pretty much liked everything other than the studio doesn't have direct access to the garden, though there is a very small sitting area in a sort of walled in patio. It's a limitation of the conversion of a large and old building, but it does mean that the apartment is a little dark.
Review 37：The owners are excellent hosts and made us very welcome. Studio was spacious and well appointed, and is also an interesting building conversion. We very much enjoyed the delivery of breads for breakfast each morning and other provisions. Secure parking was a definite plus. We also thought it was excellent value in terms of quality and price.
Review 38：The apartment was very funky with sliding doors separating the master bedroom from the bunk bedroom and living area. Kitchen area was very well equipped and the breakfast was delicious. Shower was fab. There was even a small outside seating area. Parking was secure. Great place to stay for a city break.

Review 86：An amazing place with perfect hosts. The location of the studio is excellent. We enjoyed the pleasant walk to the historical centre . On our way back, we took the tram which stopped right around the corner from the studio. The design of the studio is original while being functional. It is very cleaned, well equipped, and beautifully furnished and decorated. The shower is superb and the bed is confortable. The studio is located in a quiet and secured courtyard. There is even a lovely and private patio surrended by a magnificient city garden. We really enjoyed the individual garage parking. Wifi works well. The hosts Gina and Serge were so welcoming and helpful while being discreet. They were more than happy to provide suggestions on places to eat and visit. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the breakfast. Before our arrival, the hosts filled up the fridge with a variety of meat, cheese and jam, and the next morning, they left at our door a basket full of fresh bread and pastries. It was such a pleasant stay. .

Easy to get to town (one road leads straight there) but it ain't pretty! It did not detract from our stay but be prepared.
