Reviews for Garden Village San Marino

Review 1:Should not be advertised as a "Hotel." Our room was more of a mobile home/camper. None of the pictures on booking.com look like the actual room that we had. There was only one small fan and when we asked for a second, they didn't have any spares.

Review 2:Hostess was very nice and helpful. The restuaurant was good and convenient.

Review 3:Two extra beds in the room just took place and made a room smaller. A lot of mosquitos in july. Poor breakfast.

Review 4:Receptionist lady was very kind and gave us a lot of useful information. I must write, that the centre of San Marino is breathe taking.

Review 5:We didn't dislike anything!

Review 6:The garden village was beautifully set on the side of the mountain. We loved the place, peacefulness and the neighborhood.

Review 7:Poor wifi signal (sometimes we couldn´t connect at all). Rules in the swimming pool - you must have a swimming cap!!! Also there is a difficult access (turnstile with entrance cards). In the top season and on weekends there is a lot of noise from all neighbours and especially from children. Ugly bath towels.

Review 8:We were in a nice bungalow surrounded by green vegetation. Parking is possible right in front of your bungalow (but you must arrive before 11 pm). There is a lot of animals in the camp (donkeys, peacocks, goats, rabbits...). At reception you will get detail informations about city centre and a discount coupon (i.e. all day parking in P9).

Review 9:The price and the mattresses in the chalets which you could feel every spring. They did put another on top after two requests though. The wifi would not load at our chalet.

Review 10:The animals and pool were great

Review 11:Friendly affordable clean great units cheap food but great all round better than any place we have stayed travelling from one side of italy to the other in 4 star hotels this was our favourite

Review 12:Nothing open in winter for those who travel in winter. No food available at or really near the campground for those who stayed in non-kitchen units. Not convenient for us at all.

Review 13:Peace and quite but rooms could have been a bit more sound proof. Could hear every word spoken in rooms next door to us. EVERY WORD

Review 14:nothing

Review 15:Everything, facilities, location, comfort, superb free wifi connection, value for money. Our wooden cabin was very well appointed, clean and comfortable.

Review 16:Very small fridge in the bungallow. Slow service in the pizzeria. A bit far form the city if you have no car / bike.

Review 17:Comfortable bungallows with sufficient privacy. Good beds, proper bathroom. Daily program for smaller kids, nice pool.

Review 18:This place advertise themselves as being an hotel while in fact they are a camping resort. Don't get fooled by the pictures of the swimming pool as you will not enjoy it because filled with kids. They advertise their bungalows as deluxe double rooms, they're not, they're just average bungalows.

Review 19:If you are a family with kids and also German this is the place for you.

Review 20:There was loud music from the outdoor disco, I could't sleep. The swimmingpool was great but you have to put a shower cap.

Review 21:The room and bathroom were clean and OK. There was AIRCO in the room. Everyday clean towels. The swimmingpool was very clean. For 5 euro a nice breakfast. Parking place near bungalow.

Review 22:Everything exceeded our expectations.

Review 23:It's a camping but the bungallows are really comfortable, feeling like little villas in the countryside. Staff is very helpfull and nice. Great restaurant inside, good facilities and a long area to walk. Even has a mini zoo and a park.

Review 24:Pool photo in the booking.com is a bit misleading (no direct view to the San Marino landscape), a bit uncomfortable bed mattresses, but staff was very helpful to solve it.

Review 25:Nice environment, safe for the kids, beautiful site, nice zoo, very nice entertainments for kids, good WIFI, exellent service and great staff!

Review 26:Wifi service was very poor and we could not use it.

Review 27:Easy to get to and offers good facilities

Review 28:They were so helpful, amazing. Especially Lucia. My kids loved every minute. kudos to you guys!

Review 29:Bed uncomfortable, no bath tub for kids, breakfast limited selection.

Review 30:Zoo and play areas were great!

Review 31:Nice place like holiday village

Review 32:Very poor wifi. Breakfast was not great, but something you would expect for the price (5 euros).

Review 33:Nice and comfortable bed.

Review 34:Excellent! The kids loved it!

Review 49:pool and area

Review 50:A good place for staying with family and children

Review 51:The possibility to go in with car after 12 p.m.

Review 52:Almost everything!

Review 53:I did not realise that it was not a hotel but part of a huge leisure park.

Review 54:It was clean and quiet Nice for children

Review 55:Quite run down looked like it could do with being brought into the 2000's

Review 56:Pool was lovely although fenced off from the sun bathing area. This may be normal for Italy but does look like a prison camp. The site is definitely for families

Review 57:- poor breakfast - far from the center -> location is very good or very bad, depending on the purpose of your stay in San Marino

Review 58:- it's a big complex with a pool and other entertainments, so you won't be bored - houses were properly equipped, with all needed facilities - everything was ok

Review 59:Bit tired and not really a hotel.

Review 60:Not what I expected, camping, wooden lodges and brick lodges, bit butlins. But clean if a little tired. The staff were nice and welcoming and I had a good nights sleep and refreshing clean shower in the morning.

Review 61:The animations are a bit loud once in the patio but inside you hardly notice them. Some infrastructures related to the playground would benefit from a little refresh

Review 62:People are friendly, welcoming and really very helpful. The swimming pool is really nice especially with young children. The children loved it !

Review 63:The schedule of the restaurant can be tricky for one who's notacquainted with the Italian "orario". The pool may be verycrowded during the weekend. Don't try to reach the place without agps, it will be impossible.

Review 64:The room was well prepared for having guests, the air conditioned wasfunctioning when we arrived, and this made the great difference with the40 degrees outside. Very nice place for families with young children, nice pool and funny animation every night and during the day, for kids. Not so many attractions for older children or teenagers, though.

Review 65:A little out of hand if you don't drive. Not a walking area unless you stay on the resort. Mainly families with young children.

Review 66:Chalet was great for the price. Amenities were also good. On-site restaurant served good food. Bus stop right by resort to go up to beautiful San Marino.

Review 67:Excellent amenities: pool, sports, restaurant, even some donkies and goats. :-) There were animators taking care of kids and there is a well equipped grocery shop on site.

Review 68:Nothing to say.

Review 69:We were satisfied with everything. It is a fantastic place for holidays of families with young children, mainly. All sevices excellent! We can only recommed to everybody.

Review 70:The pool and other facilties weren't open, it was off-season however but not sure this was conveyed to us at booking

Review 72:little bit too simple breakfast

Review 73:good accommodation on a good place; nice areal

Review 74:Have to wear swimming caps in the pool.

Review 75:They have a nice pool.

Review 76:20 euro taxi ride to historic San Marino

Review 77:price was good

Review 78:the little wooden cottage was absolutely cozy and very clean. the staff was very kind and smiley.

Review 79:Wifi have poor connection

Review 80:The place is very good and relaxing
