Review 1:A bit roundabout to get to the subway (shuttle to Federal circle then airtrain to get to Jamaica Station).
Review 2:The staff was unbelievably nice. For a traveler stranded on Christmas by JFK, I couldn't have asked for nicer people. They made an extra effort to get me breakfast even when I had an early flight, they were incredibly helpful and accommodating all around.

Review 9:Our room had been cancelled due to a problem with the credit card on file, which had been compromised. An email was sent, to which I had no access until checked in to hotel (no smart phone) and the only room left had a king sized bed, for 3 adults...
Review 10:The staff at the hotel was amazing! They helped me order food and I received a cookie! The room was very clean and very quiet which I appreciated after such a long flight.
Review 11:Location was further from airport than we had originally thought. Surrounding area was not at all inviting and there was nothing around e.g. restaurants, shops etc. Shuttle service was advertised as running 24 hours but there was only one bus per hour which was a bit inconvenient. However, there was no charge for the shuttle which was a bonus.

Review 53:Difficulty and lengthy check in due to "new computer system" that resulted in us getting a key and attempting to go in to a room that was already occupied. The staff was nice and apologetic, but seemed very under prepared to handle the crowd that was there to check in in a timely manner. Also, the AC unit was so loud when it kicked on that I woke up essentially every time. There were dehumidifiers on every floor that were completely necessary.

Review 59:The hotel is more or less like a transit camp. There is no fridge for storage of drinks and beverages in the summer heat. Unlike other hotels there is no provision for guest to print out boarding pass and the staff doing it just couldn't get it right.

Review 62:The shuttle bus was extremely helpful when travelling on a budget and the staff where very helpful. The breakfast was great also with the opportunity to cook gigantic waffles which is something we've never experienced before.
Review 63:Front desk could of told us there was a resturant at a hotel just down the street. They give you a bunch of flyers to order in. So we ordered a pizza which was terrible and also had to wait an hour for it. Rooms are very small. Bath Towels in bathroom very thin and small. And breakfast not that great. We had stayed in a Comfort inn in DC and they kept the breakfast area well stocked but here it seemed they did not like to put to much out. I had to keep on asking them for diffrent items. Coffee came from a machine. Not very good. Business centre was in breakfast area which was not private. And not free. Wifi did not work. They said it had not been working for last 3 days.

Review 69:This is our second experience with Best Western Hotels Group.The firstone was in Riga Airport and it was a modern beautiful hotel withpleasant interior, cozy modern rooms, restaurant and really tastybreakfasts with wide choice. That's what we expected for when wearrived at jfk airport. But jfk airport hotel was rather poorer: old andvery simple furniture, no restaurant (we were suggested to order fastfood delivery instead!) and poor unhealthy breakfasts. Yes, the bed wasclean and cozy, the staff was friendly and helpful, but, I'm afraid,this hotel looked like an old motel and we won't order it in futurewithout emergency.

Review 71:Not the best area, room was very small, bed was rather uncomfortable for a King size bed. This is definitely not the place for an extended stay with a family. We only needed to stay one night to be close for am early flight back home. It doesn't seem like a very safe area.

Review 75:Where do I start? Traffic noise, endless. People in the street milling about and talking loudly which can be heard in the rooms. The ice vending machine in the corridor outside the room - people use it all night with the sound waking you. The worst thing was the couple who checked in with their children. They had adjoining rooms opposite ours, they let the children use the hallway until after midnight as a playground. The ignorant parents let them shout and run about and constantly open and close the doors between rooms. I called reception 4 times between 10pm and midnight to get staff to quieten them down to no avail. Less than 4 hours sleep despite going to bed at 9pm for a 5am start. Oh... The micro pillows... Very odd

Review 77:Didn't like the$20.00 fee for early check in. Bathroom sink was clogged, bathroom appeared cleaned but Smelled of mildew, the non smoking room smelled of smoke, pillows were very old & lumpy, breakfast eggs was half frozen.

When I got to my room I figured out that the AC was too noisy (no way I was going to be able to sleep) so I called reception and the offered me a another room in the 1st floor but it had the same problem. Both rooms had problems with running water in the bathrooms. Finally, I believe the doors and walls are extremely thin, I could listen to any single noise happening in the hallway all night and very early in the morning. It was very difficult to sleep. ps. The wifi reception was not very great also, I had to go to the breakfast area to send a couple of emails.

Review 101:The staff at the front desk lack basic courtesy. When we checked in thelady and the guy at the front desk just stared at us as if we wereintruders. They do not know how to greet guests. They behaved as if theywere prison warders. Same happened when we checked out. They definitelyneed training. While I was satisfied with the hotel in general the frontdesk staff have to improve. They should take a trip to the Caribbean andobserve how the hotel staff treat guests.

Review 125:Only 1.5 miles from JFK Airport, ideal for our very very early flight. Despite being so close to the airport it was a very quiet location with no airport noise. Good free parking with CCTV cameras. Very helpful staff and a free shuttle to the Airport if required. Left too early to be able to try the free breakfast or facilities. Huge super comfortable bed so had a great nights sleep before out long haul flight.

Review 134:We arrived at 2am at JFKand when I called for the hotel shuttle, the receptionist have me very vague instructions where to get the shuttle from. It resulted in us waiting for close to 1 hour in the cold at the wrong place. When I spoke to the receptionist again, he was totally uninterested. Breakfast was very poor. Powdered eggs and styrofoam plates.
Review 135:I could stretch out on a bed after a long flight. AndI liked the Pantene shampoo and conditioner. That is it.

Air-con was so loud and didn't cool the very hot room. no children's channels on the TV. coffee in the room but a bottle of water might have been nicer. room was right next to the lift and we heard everyone get in and out on our floor. reception told us to catch at 3.30am bus to the airport, arriving at3.45 - however international check in at JFK does not open until 4.45 so we had to sit there for an hour, and instead could have had another hour in bed - travelling with a young child this was really unhelpful!
