This 4-star balneotherapy complex Spa Club Bor in Velingrad is located in a pine park near the center of the city and is the 1st hotel in Bulgaria certified by the European Spas Association.
Built in the style of the ancient Roman thermal baths, it boasts 140 luxurious rooms and studios, painted in attractive colors, with an elegant design and calmness. Each room is supplied with warm mineral water.
Spa Club Bor also provides a large offer of venues, with an authentic tavern and diverse bars as well as well-equipped conference rooms – there is a big one with natural daylight offering seats for up to 100 people, and a smaller one for 40 people.

Review 1：Great location, friendly staff, food was good. Booked an apartment but both bedroom and living rooms were really small and felt claustrophobic. It's on the hillside and the views are great. Massages are good and reasonable priced. Nice place but definitely not a 4*

Review 2：The bathroom was a kind of a cold one, as there was no heating. The quality of the food was average. The hotel in general is looking a kind of socialist one.

Review 4：A smoking smell in the room even I warned we are with a baby boy. The food in the restaurant was not good at all. The spa needs some renovation (broken showers in turkish bath). We waited 30 minutes for check in because there were 10 people waiting and only 1 receptionist (1 hour later - no people and 2 receptionists?!)

Review 6：the floor in the pool area was very dirty, when we asked to clean it, the guy (who was a lifeguard, barman and cleaner at the same time) said that he is alone so he could not deal with everything... and nothing was cleaned :(

Review 10：The pool has not any other facilities (like Jacuzzi, water jet etc). The depth of the swimming pool is same everywhere and this is bad for children and for relaxing in general In swimming pool area there are rules but not respected The steam bath is too small.

Review 13：I like the tranquility in this hotel - silent music in the spa, restaurant, lobby - everywhere. The stuff is as if naturally smiley and warm, the food is various and tasty and I liked the surroundings a lot - pine wood to the back and wide city view to the front of the hotel. I surely recommend this hotel for a business trip and suggest it is ideal for a nice holiday as well.

Review 14：In our room sometimes we hear music from the fitness hall. It was louder than it is necessary.

Review 15：Service is excellent, hotel's location is near the center of Velingrad. It is on a hill and view from rooms are fantastic. Very good SPA and water. Very good food in the restaurant.

Review 16：Difficult to walk to the place if you are senior or a child, it is on a hill. Small bathroom - they probably decided to put the bath to satisfy some requirements, but in this way it became really crowded. Small boiler in the bathroom. Not very warm water. Small windows in the rooms on the 6-th floor. In fact I think these rooms are overpriced. The food in the restaurant is good, but approximately twice more expensive compared to what you can find in the town. Overal I don't think this place is a good value for money on booking.com. Out of curiosity I paid 4 leva (2 EUR) for a Stella beer 300ml on the coffe-bar. This is not reasonable. Locals would find a discount coupons on some web sites, which can make it OK in price levels.
