Review 1：The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The fact that there was such a variety of food available you did not need to purchase food else where if you did not choose too.

Review 2：It was such a comfy place! You could tell the staff really loved their jobs and cared about the guests! We also LOVED the food options and how the food hall worked.

Review 3：We didn't have a bad experience but it wasn't very sound proof in our room. We could hear everything. The TV didn't have a very clear picture. The heat didn't need to be used in our room even though it was 27 degs outside. It was probably because we were above the office and café. If I could make a suggestion.... If you had a set of stairs on either end of the building vs just in the middle it would save a lot of steps. Also that is where the smoking station was and it wasn't very appealing.

Review 4：We liked the BED. We liked the fact that we could eat there for free when we wanted to.

Review 5：We upgraded to a room with a view of the bay but the view from our first floor room wasn't that good. The all day cafe was a nice touch for lunch or a light meal The chili and soups were very good and the salad choices were ok but you might want to go out to dinner if you want meat and potatoes.

Review 6：The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well furnished. The free food being available all day was a nice touch. Breakfast with biscuits and gravy, link sausage and waffles was better than the continental breakfast at most motels.

Review 7：We had a concern with the room at check in, contacted the manager Tyler and he changed us to another room and said we would get 15% off discount. But at check out the staff knew nothing about the discount so we ended up paying full price for the room and they said that the manager would call me but he never did. Probably will not return for that reason. A phone call is not much to ask. Seems customer satisfaction is not a priority to Tyler.

Review 11：We had two queen beds and both were horrible. The mattresses had mattress covers and pads and they were all bunched up and crinkled and could not be smoothed out. Very uncomfortable.

Review 20：The rooms could've been cleaner. There was dust all over the lamp and night stand, sticky stuff on alarm clock. The beds were not very comfortable and the linens could be newer. They were very old, thin and not comfortable. The sheets were ok but the top blankets not good at all. The shower curtain was pretty hanky as well

Review 22：The office was quite busy with guests when we arrived. The staff was as courteous, friendly, and helpful to everyone. Our room was excellent and the snack bar was well stocked. Yes, we will stay here again when in the area.

Review 23：Our tv never worked and in the other room the bathroom door actually had a cutout so you could close it around the toilet. Kind of tacky if you ask me. Also the free hair cut thing was a bit weird.

Review 38：There is no elevator. I have heart valve and knee problems. I was booked on the second floor. I would not have booked the room if I had known there was no elevator. Other than that it was a good place to stay.

Review 44：The free restaurant is way too small and crowded, good idea but not enough space, We stayed 2 nights and our room was never visited by housekeeping, we made our own beds and picked up fresh towels at the front desk who advised us they would contact housekeeping when we made them aware. Upon check-out the staff person said we were free to go as we booked with booking.com and asked how our stay was, we advised her of our situation and she said she would contact housekeeping!!!!

Review 47：I liked everything, the hotel was amazing, it was clean, beautiful landscape, close to everywhere i needed to go,,food was good, loved the homemade soups,, and great variety. Other visitors were even friendly.

Review 48：Conveniently located within 5 minutes of downtown Petoskey. Meal offerings were fine although their soups and chili was very good. We even got a "free haircut" and it was decent! Great overall experience.

Review 53：Booking.com booked us a room when there wasn't one available. It was 11pm and we had been traveling for several hours. Manager called and said there was a mix up and that they has no room. We settled in a McDonald's to try and find another room when he called back and said they had a room for us that had a new vanity put in and maintenance had closed the room. They cleaned it at 11:30 pm and had it ready for us.

Review 57：Location and price were great. The staff were pleasant, but didn't seem to have the resources to cope with problems when they arose. Our air conditioner started spewing out hot air at an incredible rate and would not shut down. We had to disconnect it and were asked to open a window. This would have been a excellent suggestion, but the window was only three feet off the ground, opened onto a public walkway, and there was no lock of any kind. The night was very uncomfortable. The room was fairly clean although there were areas that needed dusting and I have never witnessed such sloppy bed making since my four year old first attempted the task.

The whole experience was just"interesting."Rooms are quite small for a family of 4. Beds were NOT comfortable and the bedding should be updated.

Review 63：virtually everything. bed has some kind of plastic mattress pad; awful to sleep on. there's a 5 minute timer for the light in the shower so if you shower longer than 5 minutes, the light goes out. great. soap and shampoo are liquid in wall mounted containers in shower. great. NOT! you won't be hungry if you eat breakfast, but I'd not willingly eat there again. I will never stay there again.

Review 113：The carpeting could be much cleaner. And, the bathroom should be stocked with lysol to mask the scents emanating from the toilet. The toilets seem to be linked to those of other guests.

Review 114：I loved the proximity to my destination of Petoskey. I found the great variety of food in the kitchen nook the most unique and hospitable provisions of convenience that I have ever experienced in all my years of travel. The fresh popped popcorn was just delightful. Plus, the establishment allowed all day access to the food which was extremely generous and convenient for guests.

Review 115：I woke up with a bug crawling on me. When we approached the staff it took them at least 5 minutes to offer us a discount on a second night. No compensation was offered for the first night considering we found half a dozen of these bugs. We did not stay another night and will not stay there again. This is the difference between a classy motel.

The all day food was not the reason that I stayed at the hotel - it wasn't what I would have normally eaten, but it was a very ice touch and unique.

Review 126：The room was fine and the price was right! With the savings compared to other hotels in the area, we were able to use the extra money we saved for other activities and nicer places to eat. We were on the second floor of the south end of the building and it was extremely quiet. While we didn't indulge in the large variety of free snacks and meals that the hotel offered, you could tell that it was popular and appreciated. Most of all, we were close to everywhere we wanted to visit during our short stay.
