Review 4：The hotel was impeccable, very well kept, the restauration of an old castle was made beautifully, with a great taste and keeping the historical value. The staff was very nice and friendly towards our needs. We will stay there again when in the area, and we highly recommend it to anyone.

Review 14：The bed for 2 people only had 1 single blanket big enough for one person. We had to ask reception to get a blanket for the 2nd person. The restaurant was definately not up to 4 star rating. Our meals were overcharged and when we questioned this we were told prices had recently been increased but the English menu prices hadn't been updated. The waiter asked us if we wanted to order a drink but he hasn't given us a wine menu. When we asked for one he said he didn't give us one because it was in Romanian, which we found very presumptuos as he did not know if we could spesk the language. When we ordered a bote of wine, he poured it without first checking if it was OK. The swiss potatoes that were included with the meal were the same as the common frozen varieties and definitely not ehat you would expect in a 4 star restaurant. Breakfast had to be pre ordered the night before by making up to 6 selections from a limited list. It was definately the worst breakfast in our 7 weeks of travel through the Balkans. When we paid for the room on our credit card in the morning we were overcharged by 200 leu and then the receptionist had great difficulty trying to reverse the transaction. This was also the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our 7 weeks and did not provide the quality or service of the 2 and 3 star hotels we have stayed at. Break

Review 43：The lift takes you to the 1st floor and you have to continue up thestairs. The breakfast included in the price one must pick from a list,which is ok but within the limits of 6 positions, also including butter,bread, water as separate units. And what was called fruits turned out tobe rather unripe orange hard to peel that I asked them to slice atleast. And the waiter did it in front of me in an aristrocratic mannerwith a serving knife - that required a lot of efforts from a poor guy

Review 48：There were a lot of mosquitos in our room, which killed our nighttotally. Despite of double bad for 2 persons, the cover suits for oneperson only. You should tell at the reception when you check - in , whenwould you like to have the breakfast, and also what would you like toeat. You should chose it from a list, given by them, but the offer isvery poor. The quality of the breakfast is also very poor. In general ,I was expecting much better service and quality based on the photos.

Review 50：My room was standard, nothing like the ones in the pictures... A lot of noise comming from room 102. All night long somebody was entering the room and making noise. The staff probably. ** Also during the night a big problem with mosquitos !!! big problem. The room has no nets on the windows and you can not sleep because of insects !

Review 53：This is a truly stunning gem of a property. Our time in Satu Mare Citywas during a freakish amount of rain, but the outdoor patio lookedamazing. Our favorite part of the entire property was the restaurant --which had an amazing menu at astounding prices, and Mihai, Grigorie, andArnold made our otherwise emotional trip to Romania a truly amazing andrelaxing experience.
