From the crest of Monte Titano, the peak at the heart of the world's oldest republic, the hotel’s view stretches in all directions. Look west over the mountains to the borders of Tuscany; East over Romagna's coastal plain as far as the Adriatic Sea; and North and South to the Apennines.
The 48 rooms are all individually decorated and boast traditional decorations. Rooms feature a balcony with a view of the countryside.
Warm during winter, cool during summer, La Terrazza is the hotel's charming restaurant with fantastic views on the Apennines. Enjoy the quality of genuine, homemade pasta and delicious grilled meat.

Reviews for Hotel Titano

Review 1:I expected for a good view of the plain and the mountains from the room, but my room faced the small street. I could see only the old wall in the window. The room was located on top of the small supermarket. The van was parked there every early morning to bring some products there which was a bit noisy.

Review 2:It locates in the central area of the old town. All the popular sightseeing spots including Liberty Square are just few minutes from there! It was in the off-season, and the reception was closed. However, the reception of Grand Hotel San Marino was open for me. The front desk clark helped me to get some information for sightseeing.

Review 3:Hotel Titano's lobby was closed. But they took us to Grand Hotel San Marino to check in by shuttle.

Review 4:Hotel was absolutely nice. Good view, center of the city. Caffe Titano allowed us for late breakfast.

Review 5:the food served at the (downstairs) hotel restaurant was poor; breakfast (buffet) was also rather limited for the class of hotel.

Review 6:very nice, confortable and modern decoration room (but it was a superior room; do not know how a standadrd room would compare)

Review 7:The room had a nice balcony and was romantic, but could have been a bit more classy.

Review 8:Very romantic location, very friendly staff, beautiful hotel in the old town on top of the mountain. The restaurant is superb with fantastic food and a Marvelous view!!

Review 9:Smack bang in the centre of things in the old town (although this can sometimes make it a little noisy at night if there's been a celebration on) which means you're about 20 steps to wonderful views and all the attractiveness of the windy old town streets.

Review 10:Parking was a nightmare and it is very misleading to advertise this hotel as having parking. It does not. Room on third floor was very pokey and very very hot. Breakfast was pretty mediocre

Review 11:Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great for walking around the city.

Review 12:Small room, the shower was the type that you have to wet your hair even if you don't want to (inconvenient). The room needs renovation (especially bathroom). We could hear noise from the corridor. It doesn't look like a 4* hotel room.

Review 13:Very good location, view from the window.

Review 14:Parking is an issue, so you have to park at a remote parking lot. But,,,, the hotel will send a golf cart out to pick you up with your luggage! NICE!

Review 15:Well run hotel, with very friendly staff.

Review 16:At the time of the booking it was not explained that the hotel is not really a hotel but rooms in a building approx 200 metres down the road from the main hotel. A Few days before our arrival we received an email message telling us to check in and check out at the Grand Hotel. For breakfast we had to go to either a cafe/restaurant under the building or walk to the Grand Hotel, none of this is evident on the website. We had lunch in the dining room of the Grand Hotel on one day and there was a menu of 4 courses for 19 euros. We had only the first course of soup for which we were charged 10 euros. We asked for the menu and were told there were 2 soups available but no prices were mentioned. Had we known it was going to be 10 euros we would not have ordered it. Breakfast on our first morning was not good as the eggs were stone cold, the people at the next table complained but we were not asked if we would like some fresh eggs hot. These are only small complaints but at a 4 star hotel this shouldn't happen.

Review 17:The hotel is in a good location and was clean and comfortable.

Review 18:Very romantic old and totally modern hotel… We stay only one, but unforgettable night.. City center and great view, good service, great stuff.. Best regards for Hotel Titano from Belgrade <3

Review 19:Nothing.

Review 20:We enjoyed the large, renovated, corner suite, with huge terrace and fabulous 360 degrees view, of the valley and town. The restaurant has good food and service. Staff was kind and helpful.

Review 21:advertised a restaurant which was never open. insecure car park. bar never open. could not open the window due to mosquitoes (some nearly the size of model aircraft). The staff were indifferent to our comments almost crossing the line to become rude.

Review 22:the breakfast, the size of the room.

Review 23:The room was poorly furnished with old style furniture and needs total refurbishment, the door couldn't be locked from inside, so I had to fix it, the floor had a 1970s style. The bathroom was awful from every point of view. The hotel is a four stars, but my room looked like a two stars; it's not worth the price!

Review 24:The central location makes it very easy to visit the old centre and to stroll around the shops. It's got a good restaurant with a wonderful terrace. Breakfast was good. The room had a beautiful view over piazza Garibaldi.

Review 25:- no or very little vegetables for breakfast and the cakes are not at top quality

Review 26:+ very spacious, elegant, clean rooms + picturesque view + extremely close to every places of interest in San Marino + San Marino card (discount to musuems and restaurants of San Marino) as a gift

Review 27:Taken ill during severe weather and unable to access hotel yet despite 24 hours notice hotel insisted on charging full price for room not occupied. They resold it [I know I checked by phone and they told me they were fully booked] so in my opinion thats profiteering.

Review 28:No problems

Review 29:Cheerful helpful staff especially at reception desk. Very efficient check in and check out systems.

Review 30:Very Close to Centre

Review 31:Slightly noisy doors!

Review 32:Lovely staff, great location Fantastic breakfast

Review 33:perfect central location, with very nice staff.

Review 34:We enjoyed the time we had here. The staff were very helpful and the room and facilities were great. You can't beat the location.

Review 35:WiFi didn't work in the room. Music played in the hall all night.

Review 36:Location, staff, bed, shower

Review 37:You can't drive your car to the hotel to park or unload, however the hotel will send a car for your luggage and has parking off site. The hotel rooms are in need of some repair and are smallish but are clean.

Review 38:The hotel was located in the center of town. The hotel has an old world charm with many interesting features and public areas. The staff was always on hand to help. They have a nice breakfast and restaurant on site.

Review 39:The walls are paper thin. You could hear everyone's conversation in the hall. Which can wake you in the morning, which is why I rated the comfort so low. The beds are ok. The room I had the shower didn't fully turn on as most the water still came out the facet.

Review 40:The location is great and the restaurant is fantastic. The view is amazing and the food is good too. Just remember that it is restricted to drive past the wall so park outside the wall to avoid tickets. There is a tiny walk to the hotel so just keep that in mind with your luggage.

Review 41:Room too hot, air conditioner not switch on in April as hot season is not until later!!! Iit was very hot at night and with window open so noisy.

Review 42:location

Review 43:Perfect location, old style luxury, great breakfast, really helpful staff. And I got the best room, number 203, where is a balcony looking to the Piazzale Garibaldi!

Review 44:The management of the hotel need to realize that the 21st centurytravelers' needs have changed since the late 19th century. Thiscannot be a four-star hotel with Spartan rooms, post-war bathrooms, electricity plugs and air-conditioning which do not work, and a verypoor Wi-Fi connection.

Review 45:The location is ideal for those staying in San Marino as it is bang inthe historic centre.

Review 46:The private parking is not on site. The parking is about 300 meters awaywith a pedestrial "road". It is disapointing if this is one ofthe reasons for selecting a hotel

Review 47:Even though we booked a room without a view, they provided a room with aview and balcony at the same price

Review 48:A great value for the fantastic view, access, and amenities. The associated restaurant was delicious! Easy access to the towers, museums, and shopping. My highest recommendation!

Review 49:We didn't stay long enough!

Review 50:A great central location. A perfect place to stay to soak up San Marino atmosphere. If visiting San Marino I'd recommend staying in the centre. Views from the upper rooms just amazing-ask its worth it.

Review 51:Breakfast was a little plain, not much variety.

Review 52:The location in the heart of the old part of San Marino. Helpful staff, brought us our bags from car park on a golf buggy, in the rain

Review 53:The rooms are very dated (70's style). There is no parking nearby, so it was very difficult moving luggage around. Breakfast was pretty terrible. It was also extremely noisy as our room was next to an event hall that the hotel has, and they were having a wedding party that night.

Review 54:Pretty much the location was the only positive about this hotel

Review 55:Initially I was placed in a room below the main floor, across from the linen closet, just above the noisy street--and I'd booked four months ago! But when I asked to change rooms the staff immediately offered me another room Initially I was placed in a room below the main floor, across from the linen closet, just above the noisy street--and I'd booked four months ago. But when I asked to change rooms the staff immediately offered me another room and generally the service is first-rate.

Review 56:The location is perfect, midway between Porta San Francisco (where the bus from Rimini comes in) and the three towers everyone comes to see. Great views from the 2nd floor up. Comfortable room, very competitive price.

Review 57:do NOT purchase perfumes from san marino local shops: they look cheap but they will sell you products which are only "eau de toilette" and not "eau de perfume"!!!

Review 58:great location, fantastic restaurant

Review 59:Right in the center of the city. The Hotel staff was wonderfully helpful and the bed was so comfortable. I really enjoyed the onsite restaurant and the clean and tidy room.

Review 60:Shower needed improving as head kept falling off and soaking the room! Also ring ahead and double check about parking as our parking was in a public lot but hotel had designated areas.

Review 61:Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Restaurant and breakfast were lovely. Location was great. Good price for what you got.

Review 62:Absolutely gorgeous view from our terrace and room, the staff was so kind and accomodating and you are in the middle of town! The Restaurant had the best view, great food and wonderful service, a must if you are in San Marino.

Review 63:Sound proof is poor; we could hear cars on the street and people taking shower next door. The shower water wasn't running fast and it took sometime for the water to warm up.

Review 64:The layout of the room is good (bathroom not inside the bedroom) and a coat hanger in the door alley. The bathroom is roomy. My favorite was the classic furnitures. They match the atmosphere and tone of the historic center. The breakfast is plenty and delicious. The wifi is fast.

Review 65:We had a wonderfull large room (307) with panoramoc view, however therewas a (closed) connecting door to another room through which every soundcould be heard and any conversation could be followed. Very annoying.Luckily the room was empty the next two days, if not I would haverequested another room.

Review 66:Everything except for the noisiness from the adjoining room.

Review 67:By mistake I was double charged for a side dish, but the problem wassorted immediately by giving me a 6 euro credit for my next stay

Review 68:Right in the centre of the old town of san marinoRESTAURANT FOOD ABSOLUTELY TOP CLASS AT VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE SPLENDID, MAGIC VIEW FROM MY ROOM

Review 69:Friendly personal, there was u guy speaking Croatian he was great.Location is great especially if you have room with a view witch isgreat. Everything is close. I coming again as I stay only one night butnext time more...:-)

Review 70:the hotel was very dated and needed some moderising.Very put into a separate room for breakfast as a coach party were in the main dining area

Review 71:Because you can not drive to the Hotel......will be good to have a service for luggage.....golf cars. Or......

Review 72:Location, friendly personal

Review 73:Air conditioning rather loud

Review 74:Wonderful high rooms with a huge terrace overlooking the main street and superb views of the gardens

Review 75:Breakfast was lovely. Lots of food. Room was really nice and clean.

Review 76:Nothing really...

Review 77:All the little terraces the hotel has and the fact that it's SMACK in the middle of everything.

Review 78:Parking

Review 79:Location, restaurant

Review 80:Parking for auto

Review 81:Location

Review 82:Stuff is pretty old, and not that good conditation as we expected.

Review 83:Had good location.

Review 84:Its very noisy place... a lot.... I have to change the room because I had so badly night....

Review 85:The localization is perfect

Review 86:San Marino has too much tat for tourists.

Review 87:Very good location. Excellent staff. Good price.

Review 88:They were nice enough to us to upgrade our room to one with a great view of the mountains & countryside. We could see for miles.

Review 89:Very friendly staff Great value for money

Review 90:small dreary room, rattling shutters

Review 91:restaurant, near historic sites, wifi, spectacular views over the surrounding countryside

Review 92:Bathroom was a bit tired

Review 93:Wonderful location excellent food Huge bedroom great views
