Review 1：The room wasn't very clean, dirt on the walls and hair on the floor. The woman at the desk stated that she didn't know if they gave a AAA discount and that I would have to ask her manager but didn't offer to call him. She stated "I don't know nothing about no discounts." She didn't even make eye contact once. She took a personal call on her cell phone in the middle of checking me in. The window curtains didn't close all the way in my room, so people could still see in. The provided soap was cheap and gritty. The cops were searching cars in the parking lot. The location was close to a lot of good places, but I didn't feel safe staying here. Will not be back.

Review 2：I had a bad experience because upon arrival to hotel the room was not available. And when a room became avail it was a smoking room, or smoke was smoking heavily in the room, because it had a strong cigarette odor. And I'M NOT A SMOKER. It was uncomfortable considering I was making reservations to get rest from driving.

Review 3：I would've like an opportunity to cancel my reservation free of charge.

Review 4：I walked in my room and it smelled like stale smoke, the main bed spread (the one you always take off because you know they don't wash it) had burns in it, the remote was missing the back so it didn't work and nobody was in the ofice so I was stuck watching adventure time, the heater was a wall unit and it was loud and kicked off and on all night waking me each time, and there was no coffee maker.

Review 5：It was a convenint drive to 264 and the bed was comfortable.

Review 6：Horrible service, no internet, no cable, only bed in room. No way to cook with a full kitchen or no utensils, plates, no anything.

Review 10：We showed up late after driving 12 hours from wi. We got into the room and we were missing towels, blankets, pillows...the worker did come and supply us a few things. (One towel) but housekeeping never came during our stay to give us anything. (We were there 2 nights)

Review 16：Be careful if checking in on Sunday's and off hours. Do not book same day. Luckily we arrived an attendent was there outside so we got our rooms - but there was 4 people other people I talked too that weren't able to check in. I would not recommend this place.

Review 18：the room stunck, office people were very very rude, TV was old and didn't get any good channels interference with tv,no clean towel, u have to wash them ur self. The a/c unit was broke, the roim had a bad smell to it. Was opened after 7 pm in office, and not open on Sundays, not open early morning to turn in the keys. I could go on forever. I wish I could get my money back.

Review 20：It appears that this extended stay hotel is mostly for homeless people. I guess the govt subsidizes for this. I was shocked to find this. The bathroom had no toilet paper and no shower curtain or rug. The kitchenette was not stocked with even a cup to drink from. Waited 30 minutes for the toilet paper. It never came so I checked out.

Review 21：No one was available for any situations in the evening property was not like it looked in pictures very uncomfortable areas outside of room. Defiantly will not stay again!

Review 22：Be careful, the office is open till 7 pm! It wasn't mentioned when we booked the room! We didn't know and arrived at 10 pm waiting for someone who will come and open the office for us, together with some other couples who had two wait even 2 hours to check in... Nice place, however not for those who arrive late.

Review 25：300pm checkin time with no budge then after check in had to wait another 30 mins for room and it since it was not ready because cleaning was watching tv in the room instead of our job this made us late for our event also there was no hot water...

Review 27：The room had a strong smell of smoke, really off-putting. The TV was very old and barely working (the remote was not working). The light in the bathroom was broken and was very hard to turn off. The airconditioner made a very loud noise, like it was going to explode.

Review 28：Wifi was good, location also very convenient (we were traveling by car). For the price it was fair. Staff was kinda nice, considering we checked-in afterhours. Close to restaurants and supermarkets.

Review 29：No one answered the phone for 2 hours to get directions from the freeway. Office was CLOSED when I arrived at 9:00 pm (surprise!) and a hand scrawled note gave a number to call. A polite but unnformed young man checked me in and it was confusing. STRONG STRONG cigatette smoke almost gagged me on the elevator. ROOM was smelly, depressing and bed linens were very well worn. Garbage cans were overflowing outside with trash. DIRTY TRASHY PROPERTY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Review 30：The desk staff maintains odd hours, and for weeks before my stay and during did not have a working phone (I booked online). When I heard what I believe was a 2 AM gunshot the only alternative was to call 911, which I did not do since I didn't want to cause more commotion. I had to buy towels because they only give you enough for a day or two no matter how long your stay. Outside areas were not as clean as my room.

Review 31：Price was best I could find in the area, and the full kitchen seemed almost new. Room seemed clean. Cleaning lady was very friendly, did a good job but was clearly overburdened as she was working late. Remembering the modest price, I was happy to stay here.

Review 32：When i arrived it was late in the evening,so after i brought my things into the room and started to get settled i noticed the stain on the floor. The toilet seat was so loose i thought i was going to fall off. While i was moving my things into the room a neighbor told me to check behind the refrigerator and under the sinks for black mold, because there has been some rooms that have been found with it. As i went to climb into bed i seen a dirty spoon and left over food on the floor at the head of the bed. I also noticed the comforter had about 6 cigarette burn holes in it. The TV remote had tape holding the batteries in it, and would only turn the stations, it would not turn it on or off. The next day i had to work late and didn't get to see the manager, so i found another place to stay. The third day it was after 5:00 pm, and when i told the manager (and showed her pictures) I asked for a deduction on the bill she told me there was no refunds of no kind. if this is your policy to have rooms like this and cannot refund anything then I will not ever consider your hotel and will tell everyone that travels for my company to reconsider Sun Suites as their place to stay. If you would like to see pictures I have them.

Review 33：got locked out of room because the strip on the card was demagnetized. The number to call in emergency after hours, the voice mail was full and you couldn't even leave a message. Which leaves you stranded.

Review 35：Very, very disappointed in the facilities. First, I had a difficult time getting in touch with the facility as they did not return emails or phone calls. The outside of the hotel is nice but this was not at all what I expected for the money. They probably charged a lot more than standard for the Kentucky Derby weekend, but I thought I was paying for a nice room. I think we paid the rate for a week, not two nights. The manager was very nice but had about 4 pages of the mostly don'ts for the hotel which worried me. The room was small and rather dark. The air conditioner was extremely noisy. We did not have any clothes hangers and were told that it is because it is an extended stay facility. Had to hang our nice dresses over a chair. No iron available as the desk was not open in the early am. During both nights there was a lot of yelling and drinking going on outside. Many bottles and cans around in the morning indicating one of the don'ts on the list was not enforced. We did not have a cable box or remote for the TV but the "Courtesy Officer" was able to provide one. Could not recommend this property.

Review 37：No one ever came into room to clean it while we were out, toilet hardly worked from the start. Had to wash own towels and toilet paper if used. (Usually hotels do that)During the middle of the night poeple were banging on the doors while others were sleeping. I will not be going back to this facility ever again and will not recommend to anyone!!! Drove all night to get there and arrive at the hotel and find out it don't open till 11 and it closes at 7. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and won't stay there again!!!

Review 70：The rooms were booked Aug 21. However, when we arrived Oct 30, we weretold our room was not available. Somehow, rooms were overbooked. No onecontacted us in the three months prior to let us know we wouldn'thave the room we booked. We were given the "only two" singlerooms left. The one room had a television but didn't work. We washedour towels because there was no service to replenish the used towels orempty trash. We had to turn in used towels to trade for clean towels andempty our trash. Saturday morning was the scheduled event we were inLouisville for. We wake up to no hot water so no showers.
