Review 1：The staff was helpful and very friendly. The hotel was in an excellent location right on the beach with beautiful white sand. The beach is kept up and extremely clean. I would definitely come back to stay.
Review 2：The online description of the rooms is misleading. Small room divided by a half wall between the sofa bed and queen size bed. We had to upgrade at additional cost to the two bedroom which are only a few offered.
Review 3：The view from the 4th floor was the best part. The location close to John's Pass was the second best part.
Review 4：For the price I think the cabanas that sit out on the beach in front of the hotel should be part of part of the stay.
Review 5：Beautiful views from the ocean view room. Only a few steps to the beach from the elevator. Nice little pool area with a couple hammocks, less than a 5 minute walk to John pass.A wonderful lil restaurant Lisa's cafe that had an amazing breakfast.

Review 8：The room was perfect, the view was amazing You can walk to Johns pass where there are plenty of stores and restaurants. The hammocks at the pool is a nice touch. They even had some chairs and floats you could use at the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If ever in the area again this is where I will want to stay. Perfect little gem.

Review 13：The air conditioning systems are very old. The rooms are fairly spacious for what they are but the AC is right by the balcony door and does not cool the space evenly. Apparently controlled to not work at all when the balcony door is open.

Review 15：Very expensive stay for a small older hotel. A few stains were visible on sofa and t.v was not visible from bed, lock on door was loose and ceiling rumbles fell into our suitcases after a bug was swung at.... We were totally uncomfortable;(
Review 16：It was close the Hubbards Marina and our room offered a ocean view. The quaint swimming pool was in front of our room, however, when door shut view was a memory. Manager claimed he would have addressed issues if voiced, which was nice to say but issues were impossible to be fixed during our short stay.
Review 17：Tight spaced accommodation. Quality check on appliances need to be checked and replaced as necessary. The mattress is extremely hard for my comfort.

Review 25：Older building with minimal maid service (they never enter the room, just pick up and replace towels and linen from a basket left outside the door). The front office is staffed only during daytime business hours. The lone elevator gets overused at checkout time. There is only one self-service luggage cart and it was nowhere to be found when needed, so we had to make several trips from the 4th floor to the car. The balcony is barely wide enough for a chair. The price was a little high considering the lack of amenities.

Review 28：I thought it was a little over priced for the age of the building. The same price was charged for a few of the more upscale facilities. We chose this hotel due to the reviews. A few items I would change...a larger coffee pot! I had to make 3 pots every morning. A tilting TV for view from 2 areas, bed and couch. More paper products so we don't have to ask.

Review 31：Great location on a nice part of the beach. Our room overlooked the water and great view of ocean and sunsets. Walking distance to many restaurants and to John's Pass, eliminating the need to pay for parking there. Appreciated daily exchange of towels, linens and coffee as needed.

Review 34：The only real complaint would be the smoking situation. The rooms are smoke-free but the smoke from the tables behind the building drifted up and into our room. It made it difficult for us to be on our balcony or to have our door open for fresh air.

The headboard on our bed and the bed in the adjacent room would knock on the wall, like someone knocking on the wall or door, whenever we got in bed or rolled over. We put a towell behind it and it solved the problem. Unfortunitly the adjacent room did not and we were woken a time or two on most nights. That should be fixed by the hotel.
Review 46：Our ocean view from the top floor was wonderful. Access to beach is excellent. Chairs to use at the beach on a first come first serve basis. The staff was excellent and friendly. Room keeping Very Very effecient and friendly. We are going back.

Review 51：All of the rooms have attached balconies and those above the first floor are smoke free. There is a $100/day charge if caught. The problem is that people think that smoking on the balcony is OK and it is hard to pinpoint the offender. We liked to keep our balcony door open and one evening at 10 PM our room filled with cigarette smoke. Another morning at 2 AM we experienced it again. There is a tiny sign on the balcony door saying smoking is allowed only on the 1st floor. Management needs a better way to communicate that either by telling them when they check in or using larger and more signage.

Review 65：In spite of being very clean, the ant invasion greeted us, and continuedthroughout our stay. Kitchen amenities did not include a cooktop of anykind. Supplies and towels are exchanged daily via a basket buthousekeeping is not allowed in your room. But there is an envelope for ahousekeeping gratuity. And there are rules posted about most everythingeverywhere. One rule is that you are only allowed 1 role of toilet paperper day. Really? Dish soap is watered down and another note reads yourdishes and utensils were washed but don't meet restaurantsanitization standards. Had I been prepared for a luxury campingexperience I would have been very pleased. Our previous beachfrontexperiences surpassed this one by a long shot. Costly for the amenities.
Review 66：Located directly on the gulf, very clean facility with what appeared tobe updated furnishings. Staff are not allowed in your room. (A plus anda minus). Nice pool, friendly staff. I would recommend this facility aslong as you know what to expect going in.

So many in the small room, they moved all furniture and trash on the common walkway just to have room to sleep. Typical of their culture I guess with no concern for others. No hotel staff on site to witness. Instructions posted in elevator says to call sheriff after hours. Not cool.
