Review 1：Ants were horrible! Bit me in my bed making sleep impossible. We went to the very courteous night clerk who changed our room immediately! She apologized and was very concerned about the situation!!! Very prompt about addressing the situation!!!! I understand that the ant situation was beyond their control, and appreciated their prompt action!!!!!

Review 7：The TV was an old 19 in monitor style TV. Hard to watch anything on it. The beds where extremely uncomfortable! The room had a terrible smell to it during the whole time we where there. The Wi Fi was very very weak!

Review 9：Only bad experience is with booking.com who will NOT notify motel of requirement for a pet-friendly room. I specified in writing to booking.com that I needed a room for a dog, but the motel was completely unaware of that request in my reservation.

Review 10：Adequately clean comfortable room - nice refreshments at night and complimentary breakfast with lots of good coffee in a. m. - a pretty nice independently owned motel. Sure beat the Super 8 on the way back! Would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Review 13：I was not looking for 5 Star accommodations, just affordable, clean & convenient for a night on route between Michigan and Colorado. Staff at check in and in the early morning were courteous and friendly. Western Inn delivered and I will quite likely be a repeat customer.

Review 14：They knew there were 4 people in the room but they kept giving us only two towels. Also,my toilet wouldn't flush properly and all they did was give me a plunger.

Review 23：The place was a dump. When I told the desk clerk the place didn't look like the picture, she said it was on old picture. She did point out the car in the one handicap spot was the same. The bed had a spring poking my ribs all night. The water in the pool was green.

Review 24：First when we arrived to our rooms the doors were propped open...weirdright. Then as we entered our rooms the pillows were without cases, andcovered in stains, gross! Maybe house keeping wasn't done but thiswas six in evening, come on. This place still uses actual keys insteadof cards, the worst part though was that the keys/locks were verydifficult(impossible) to use. We had to make sure someone was in theroom at all times otherwise we would have been locked out. I guess thisexplains why the doors were open upon our arrival. The beds wereuncomfortable. Overall disappointed, so we cancelled our second night.

Review 35：Having to stay on second floor because we had a 5 1/2 pound dog!!!! And I had to. climb stairs with a fractured foot because of it!!!! Kallie felt it was her duty to preach about not smoking in our room , even though we are non smokers and in our mid to late sixties!!!!! She glared at us every time we left or returned to our room!!! She makes a fuss about were to take the dogs out to, but does not realize there are farrow cats out there that are very wild and large.!!!!! Plus we asked for our AARP discount and she would not give it to us!!!!!! Will never use this hotel again and will warn people not to also!!!!

Review 45：Friendly staff Room was comfortable and clean The price for the room was attractable. We have stayed at your motel and that is the reason we came back (price, clean, comfrontable, staff was very friendly and accomadating. Also it was very quiet there which we really liked. Didn't get up in time after a late night to enjoy breakfast. We will be coming back again when we are in Council Bluffs the next time.

Review 46：Musty/moldy smell in end room had to request change of room. Didn't realize it was so close to freeway.

It was supposed to be a non smoking but they obviously have problems with guests smoking in non smoking rooms because I had to sign a form that they'd charge me around $150. If I smoked in the room but I'm not sure what they did with the money but it wasn't used to clean the room :(

Review 49：The bed was so awful that I couldn't sleep. Both hard and bouncy--I wonder how they do that!. The room was dark and dreary as well. And I had a hard time connecting to the wi-fi.

Review 55：We enjoyed the hotdogs and cookies when we checked in. The pool was nice. The rooms are fancy, but they are clean and comfortable. I'd stay there again. Breakfast was fine as well.

Review 56：The room had a dirty look. The upholstered bench at the end of the bed was soiled and I would not put my suitcase on it let alone sit on it. This alone made me suspicious that the room's carpet and bedding were also soiled.

Review 60：There was an odd smell in the halls. They only had double beds - we would prefer 2 queens. They tempt you with the free food, but the hot dogs ran out before we got any.
